Trickster, Wow!

Evening purrs, good and gorgeous Big Cats, the stars on the tame prairie are incredibly bright... the Kougaress hasn’t seen them this brilliant for a long while... there’s been a whole lot of overcast skies this past year.

The Trickster, WOW! Yeppers, this Big Cat had no clue about how much the Trickster has owned her life, until a couple of days ago. Let’s just meow, it’s been so HUGE it’s truly mind-boggling and disturbing at the deepest of levels. No, the Kougaress wasn’t raised in a spiritual tradition that recognized the Trickster as a viable force, or had any real understanding of this particular dynamic, a force which owns our world in a way most of us don’t comprehend and can’t comprehend.
This is a deep subject and moi doesn’t have the time, energy and pages to fully explore, or attempt to explore, what this dynamic has meant to our current world, or in her life.
Every spiritual force has a good and bad expression, or both sides of the coin. In our current times, the Trickster’s energy has been consistently used for the foulest of purposes. Perhaps, THE TRICKSTER will gain the final laugh, the final triumph, by turning the tables on those who have used him/her in such a vicious, evil way. This Big Cat hopes so to her deepest self.

Sylva smiled inside, despite everything weighing on her. “Swirly tub. Yep, cowboy mine, I’m game.” Dance-twirling beside him, she linked their arms. “I think my mind could use some down time.” As if he escorted her some place fancy, he headed them toward a tall archway. Sylva rested the side of her head on his arm and realized she felt like a new woman in many ways. Ways she couldn’t exactly explain, or even understand right now. “You know,” she murmured as they walked through the arch, “I think I was starving emotionally. Not just starving for love,” she paused.

Zeke hadn’t realized how much having a wife beside him, could mean. It hit him at a deep level he damn well liked, that felt good to a man’s soul, as if he owned the sky. “Starving for love?” he prompted. But his woman had halted, staring at their surroundings. “Oooh, talk about lavish.” Slowly, she moved toward the sunken tub, her gaze riveted. “What kind of swirly tub is that?” Zeke grinned. “Why the kind that makes a husband and wife enjoy each other’s company in special ways. Or, the kind just for relaxin’ and talkin’. Wanna play footsies?”
