Sunday mews, beautiful Big Cats... hope you and yours are enjoying... sunny and mild on the tame prairie, a beautiful day, except for a grayish film covering the sky.

Purrs, The Purple Haze Synchronicity occurred yesterday. Jimi Hendrix’s song was used as bumper music on Coast to Coast am... and, the Kougar features the song in her WIP, Kandy Apple for Halloween, which she was working on at the time... And, yep, Jimi Hendrix was into the whole UFO phenomena, plus he claimed he had an encounter and nope, he wasn’t using drugs, at that time.

Hmmm... maybe that should be The Purple Haze Conspiracy... another musing hmmmm... great title, wonder if it’s been used before?

The Kougar completed editing on another chapter of KANDY APPLE and is in the middle of another chapter. Kandy’s sister, Merri, is being kidnapped by one of the bad guys, who is threatening to ship her in a crate to a sex auction... unless...
No more. That would be a spoiler.
The Kougar is close to 40,000 words in, but probably won’t make her submission deadline... sad mews, since she was hoping to pub it for Halloween.

Sylva hugged her cowboy husband’s neck, kissing him with her tenderest and fiercest heart. Together they rolled, so they faced each other. Sliding his cock from her, he cradled her in his arms and drew her close against his chest. “Darlin’ mine,” he crooned, his voice so loving and possessive, Sylva melted like sugar inside. Suddenly sleepier than all hell, Sylva could barely manage a yawn. Still, she murmured, “Goodnight, cowboy mine.” As she fell toward the blackness of slumber, Sylva felt him lift upwards and reach for the comforter, then arrange it around them. No psychic visions, she prayed.

Zeke listened to the sleeping breaths of his woman. Brushing his lips on the silkiness of her hair, he settled beside her, and filled his nostrils with her scent. With his honeymoon interrupted, yet not, in a way, Zeke considered the current circumstance, and everything that had led up to it. His own weariness catching up with him, he slipped into a semi-lucid state. Thinking of the ranch, he imagined bringing his bride home. How he would carry her up to his suite of rooms. How he would escort her around the ranch, and show her his string of horses.
