Ladder in the Sky

Cool evening purrs, my Sunday-basking Big Cats... meowsa, the cooler temps continue on the tame prairie... and today, the Kougaress saw a ladder in the sky... or what looked like a horizontal ladder between two layers of streaming clouds... yep, she was back at her favorite window gazing at the beautiful sky, cloud dreaming, and there it was... a perfect ladder shape... straight sides, straight rungs... as if it had been carved and placed between a lower thick bank of clouds and a higher waving flotilla of clouds... nope, this Big Cat has never witnessed anything like that before... certainly not with that perfect geometric shape.

Sylva tugged her husband’s shirt free. Before she could do anything else, he gently caught her wrists and brought her hands up to his chest. “Returning the favor,” she murmured. “That kind of favor is going arouse me something fierce. And, right now, I want us both relaxin’, little darlin’.” Bending over, he planted a sizzling kiss on her lips. He swept an arm beneath her legs, lifting her into his embrace. “Ooooh, I like a man who is ready for action,” she crooned, feeling somewhat naughty. “But, you’re right, I’m worn out.” He carried her to the sunken tub.

Zeke held his precious bride above the water. “Dip your toe in. Test the temperature.” Clinging onto his neck, she dangled her leg, then swirled her big toe. “Oh, nice and warm. Automatic shut-off?” she asked as the tub quit filling. “Yep, darlin’ mine. Not too hot?” He lowered her a bit more so that her foot entered the whirling water. “Feels perfect, handsome.” As soon as she could, she gained her feet and Zeke let go. He watched her slip down into the tub and recline before stepping back to remove his garments. “You make a darn pretty sight, Sylva.”
