Gosh Meow, Midyear 2012

Venus, Goddess of Love by cosmosue at deviantart.com

Late night yowls, my June-sunning Big Cat Beauties... yes, it's midyear, can you believe it?... an almost chilly day on the tame prairie, and a bit of rain last night... yep, another 2012 trauma drama day... it feels like the universe is after this Big Cat... so, things have calmed down, but the month of June isn't looking any better astrologically. More yowls and mews!

Remember, lovelies, the Venus transit across the Sun is June 5th. The Kougaress had said it was June 7th. This is a landmark astronomical event, the last event occurring in 1884. This time of Venus is key to the 2012 energies, and brings in the full awakening of the feminine in divine partnership with the masculine. It is also the portal, the opening of the heavenly stargate to dimensions beyond imagination, to the full realization of humanity's potential.

The last six 'unedited' sentences written for Chapter Forty-Four ~

Sherilyn took several moments, switching her gaze from him and Dontoya. "I feel like I'm in a strange, but wonderful grownup fairytale."

The shine in her eyes lit Zance's heart as if it was a blazin' moon.

Dontoya kept the rainbow-glistening ring in the glow of the candle's tall flame. He reached toward Sherilyn, and with his palm up, he invited her hand to his.

"Does it matter which hand, which finger?" Sherilyn quivered like a lovely wild blossom in a Spring breeze.

Your June Forecast is Here!

The stars are gearing up for some major activity this month, and they won't waste a minute getting started!

In fact, on June 1, Mercury and Venus kick start the action with a pleasant, upbeat alignment in Gemini that will be full of parties, flirting and all things social.

Then, on June 4, the Sagittarius Moon opposes the Gemini Sun, bringing you a spectacular Lunar Eclipse. This is your reminder to balance the logical needs of your mind with the emotional desires of the heart. But watch out ... Mars will also be on the scene, opposing this eclipse, and putting everyone on edge.

Also on the 4th, Neptune will turn retrograde in Pisces, continuing to move backwards until early November. Creativity and spirituality will slow down as you take time to consider what’s really best for you.

A major transit will occur on June 11 as Jupiter takes a giant leap from Taurus into Gemini, where it will stay for the entire year! If you’ve ever wanted to broaden your horizons, this is the year to do it. Jupiter in Gemini will encourage you to explore new ideas, meet new people and hear all sides of the story.

On June 13, you'll feel a bit more grounded as the Sun and Saturn bring practicality back to your world.

Then, on June 20, the Sun moves into Cancer bringing the focus home, and possibly leaving you a bit more emotional than usual.

The end of the month will be especially bumpy and rocky, starting with an exact square forming between Uranus and Pluto on June 24. These two planets have been wreaking havoc and causing disruptions, upheavals and rebellions for the last two years as they've moved closer into alignment, and on this day, it will all come together. Typically this represents a changing of the old order, which can feel unstable and insecure, as you’re no longer what you used to be, but you haven't yet achieved what you’ll become. This may be hard and change may seem slow to take over, but hang in there! The end results will be worth it!

June 25 will feel like a respite as Jupiter and Neptune square each other, but in actuality, your expectations will soar too high, likely leading to disappointment. Fortunately, also on the 25th, Saturn in Libra will move direct, adding more sense and structure to your world.

Then, June 27 will see Venus also turn direct in Gemini, adding zest to your romances and social scene.

Finally, Uranus and Pluto steal the stage again on June 29, ending the month with one opposing and the other squaring the Cancer Sun. Pluto will grip tightly for control, while Uranus will fight tooth and nail for freedom. At the very least, this tug of war will ensure that the end of June is action-packed!

2:12 am... 2:22 am... 3:33 am... 2:12 pm... 10:10 pm... 11:11 pm... From COAST TO COAST AM ~ Reincarnation and Past Lives...

Date: 05-30-12
Host: George Noory
Guests: M.J. Rose, William Henry, Dr. Marvin Hausman

In the latter half of the show, author M.J. Rose discussed her extensive research into reincarnation, its religious and historical roots, and connection to fragrances. The work of psychologist Dr. Ian Stevenson in the field was groundbreaking, and he discovered that in countries such as India the idea of reincarnation was far more accepted than in America. Yet surprisingly, in recent years, 25% of people in the US believe in reincarnation regardless of their religious affiliation, she noted. Individuals tend to reincarnate in "soul circles" (typically family members), people that you've been with before, in order to work out your karma with them, she explained. People may have multiple soul mates, but sometimes soul mates are not meant to be together, she has found.

Rose detailed fascinating connections of fragrance and perfumes to past lives. Ancient and modern monks have used incense as a way to access deep meditation and previous incarnations, she said. Fragrance played an important role in ancient Egyptian religion (Cleopatra, who believed in reincarnation, had a perfume factory), and some scents such as Blue Lilly were thought to put people in a trance. Rose worked with a perfumer to develop a special scent, Ames Soeurs (Soul Mates in French) inspired by her latest work, The Book of Lost Fragrances.

Radiation Tainted Tuna

First hour guest, Dr. Marvin Hausman reported on radiation tainted tuna that has migrated from Japan to the shores of the West Coast of the United States. Some 11 tons of radioactive waste have been released from the Fukushima plant into the Japanese shores, so this may be just the beginning of more contamination arriving, he commented. Dr. Hausman also talked about certain amino acids such as ergothioneine which can neutralize radiation effects and could be considered a "master antioxidant."

Ark & Stargates

In the second hour, investigative mythologist William Henry spoke about Iran's obsession with the Ark of the Covenant, which some consider the most mysterious object in human history. Given to Moses at Mount Sinai, the object has been traditionally thought of as a gold box, which possibly served as an oracle or portal, and was lost around 600 BC. Since then, it has been traced or associated with various parts of the world. He also discussed stargates, which could be interdimensional transportation systems. Mayan end time symbolism depicts a 'cosmic tunnel' linking Earth and Heaven, and they believed that advanced beings inhabited the center of our Milky Way galaxy, he noted, adding that it's been postulated that a Type 3 civilization could live inside a black hole in the galactic center.

Soul Circles - I like that term. I'm a firm believer in reincarnation, but I've never seen the idea mixed with aromatherapy or fragrances. Very interesting idea though.

Serena, it was fascinating the way she explained it, and the ancient history behind the idea that inspired her book. Cleopatra and ancient Egyptians used the trance power of essential oils like Blue Lily to recall their past lives.

That sounds awesome! I'd love to see my last lives...there's a story idea in there somewhere. ;)

There sure is! All sorts of wonderful plots abound.
