The Age of High Intuition ... today the Kougaress listened to the Dreamland radio show at UNKNOWN COUNTRY. One of Penny Peirce's contentions is that we as the human race are changing. Our frequencies are quickening, and this means an emergence of intuition as a larger guidance force. That we will come to rely on our intuition more and more makes sense to this Big Cat, given her life experiences, and her sense of the current times.

Here's a blurb of the show:

High Frequency, Pure Joy

This week's Dreamland with intuitive Penny Peirce was recorded some months ago and scheduled for this weekend. It turns out that it's a perfect introduction to our offering for subscribers this week, which is about the vibratory energy that was experienced in the close encounter that Linda Moulton Howe reported on last week on the show.

Because science has long taught us to rely on what we can see and touch, we often don't notice that our spirit, thoughts, emotions, and body are all made of energy. Everything is vibrating. In fact, each of us has a personal vibration that communicates who we are to the world and helps shape our reality.

In this interview, Marla Frees and Penny Peirce reveal practical ways that we can find our own energy level and learn to live it and love it. For subscribers, Whitley Strieber describes exactly why the visitors that "CE" encountered on a road in Utah in December showed themselves as they did, and what the explosion of feeling that they communicated was all about.

Penny's new book is Frequency: the Power of Personal Vibration. Penny also offers personal consultations.

What A Week
by Solara

Sorry to be posting late this week gang! My muse has me buried deep into Nancy and the Werewolf. The heat is boiling and growing with complications.

Then it hit the ear ache from. . .not hell but painful enough that I woke out of a sound sleep last Thursday night. With this crazy weather, hot and cold with no in between, I wasn't sure what was up.

A Place Where Women Rule
Friday, February 3, 2012

In a small state in India, women rule, with property, wealth and last names passing from mother to daughter, instead of from father to son. In reaction to this, instead of a feminist movement, there is a men's movement.

In BBC News, Timothy Allen quotes one of the movement's advocates as saying that they "do not want to bring women down. We just want to bring the men up to where the women are" (This sounds familiar to Western women!)

Life in Meghalaya is, in many ways, the direct opposite of life in many Middle Eastern countries. Allen quotes one of the women there as saying, "Most men in our village leave school early to help their fathers in the fields. This is a great detriment to their education."

He quotes one of the men there as saying, "If you want to know how much the Khasis favor women just take a trip to the labor ward at the hospital. If it's a girl, there will be great cheers from the family outside. If it's a boy, you will hear them mutter politely that, 'Whatever God gives us is quite all right.' "

The same is true of many of the nouns in our language. When something becomes useful, its gender becomes female. A tree is masculine, but when it is turned into wood, it becomes feminine."

Bird Songs Reduce Crime
Thursday, February 2, 2012

Police have discovered a way to cut crime: Play bird songs.

Crime has gone down in Lancaster, California ever since the mayor started playing nature sounds--bird chirps, the sound of running water--in the streets. Mayor R. Rex Parris discovered this in the UK, and brought the idea home and he has been playing the sounds during the past 10 months for 5 hours a day, over 70 speakers set up along the main street.

In the Wall Street Journal, John Letzing quotes Parris as saying, "Everybody is now in a better mood, a better place."

Parris thinks the sounds actually change people's brains. And it's worked: Minor crimes fell about 15% last year, compared with 2010, and serious crimes fell about 6%. Letzing quotes him as saying, "We're not seeing that impulse-control crime. It has just been astonishing to us how the community has changed as a result of a one-half-mile stretch."

Some of the local shopkeepers think it's working too: Maria Elena Grado, who runs a cafe near speakers, says the area was "crime infested" when she first opened in 2006. Letzing quotes her as saying, "Everybody laughed at the idea, but people don't even realize the things that make them tick."

Big Cat by-the-numbers ~

1:11 am... 2:22 am... 3:33 am... 2:12 pm... 8:44 pm... 10:10 pm... so, what is the REAL truth about Vostok Lake in the Antarctic?... the Big Cat says, let the truth ring out loud and free!...

~ dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2095193/Lake-Vostok-Russian-scientists-drilling-alien-Antarctic-lake-buried-20m-years.html ~

The scientific community is holding its breath for a team of Russian scientists that has been out of contact with colleagues in the U.S for six days, as they drill into a lake buried beneath the Antarctic ice for 20 million years.

They have to evacuate their station by Tuesday - when winter proper kicks in and temperatures start to drop to an inhospitable minus 90C.

The scientists are currently battling conditions of up to minus 66C at Lake Vostok as they raced to drill into a lake buried two miles beneath the ice before the weather closed in.

They were hoping water in the lake, the most inhospitable region of the planet, would reveal more about ancient life on our planet - but they have fallen silent just days before the deadly winter is due to begin.

Yikes! Freakishness abounds around Vostok Lake...I hope there have been no lost lives, but ya have to wonder what paranormal event might have occurred to keep them incommunicado! Er, maybe I'm the only one who thing paranormal first...hehe

Serena, gosh only knows. I don't know the latest as to whether the Russian scientists have been contacted. However, the Antarctic abounds with tales of the paranormal, especially UFOs, and other types of humanoids. During WWII Hitler had a base there, and at the close of the war, a lot of Nazis went there. Plus, there have been outbreaks of strange diseases. And unexplained fights between people there.
