Winter Solstice 2011, A Time of Miracles

This scene reminds my hero, Dylan, of his homeworld ~ sans the bow. Although, he will keep the bow his heroine, Kaily, wore for him as a treasured keepsake.

Late night meows, my mighty Aphrodite, festive Felines... Winter Solstice 2011 is nearly upon us, and that means, of course, the Light will be returning and winter is officially here... more light rain on the tame prairie this evening... all this moisture is a good, good thing... but hard to deal with sometimes.
~~~~~~
Winter Solstice 2011, A Time of Miracles ... this marks the beginning of a whole new level the miraculous on Earth. Amid the escalating turmoil and troubles, miracles will abound. Take heart. Take heed. For, they are yours. And they also belong to everyone who stands for GOOD.
Authoress news and mews ~
Mew and boo, my darlings. The Kougar has GOOD NEWS first. Her Indie ebook, SANTA BABY, SEVERAL STARS AWAY is now available at Kobo and itunes. Yay-yowls!
The bad news ~ epirates have stolen Santa Baby. The Kougar emailed the site. Who knows, it might even work. Come on, is ruining someone's livelihood that important to all of you who pirate books? Good gosh, there is a tremendous amount of hard work that goes into writing and pubbing a book. TREMENDOUS! It isn't a lark, an easy peasy excercise. At least not for this Big Cat author. The Kougar is by no means flush with funds. Do you have to steal from her? You don't have 99 cents to spend on an ebook? Not to mention this Big Cat regularly offers free flash scene reads at SHAPESHIFTER SEDUCTIONS, and other blog sites, to anyone who wishes to enjoy them.
BTW ~ How you treat others is how you will be treated. So, if you want your hard work stolen... well... may it be so.
...a real nice gift from Santa...
By Savanna Kougar
"Who gives an elf?" Srynna grumbled as she wriggled down the sooty narrow chimney. What a gig, leaving toys for good shapeshifter girls and boys -- actually gift certificates, good for any store in Talbot's Peak.
Yeah, holly jolly, this was Christmas eve hell. At around 110 pounds she could just see herself hoisting an enormous Santa Klaus bag while sneakily moving from house to house, unscented by keen-nosed predator types -- at least, the gift certificates were tucked close in a small waist pouch.
Sure she could morph to invisible for short periods of time, avoiding detection, but that didn't include a bulky bag. Frigging cold, on the verge of exhaustion, and with hunger sticking her belly to her backbone, Srynna wasn't in a merry, festive mood. It's not like most shifters expected Santa, and left out cookies and milk.
From Astrology.com ~
Venus enters Aquarius: Come Together ... Right Now!
The planet governing our relationships moves into Aquarius, the sign of large gatherings. When it comes to love, think the-more-the-merrier for the next few weeks. Avoid putting too much emotional pressure on loved ones because the loosest rein is the tightest. Ample space and detachment work wonders under this Venus placement, so treat your lover like your best friend.
Grr and hiss' at those nasty pirates!
Mr. or Ms. Pirate, no good ever comes from stealing. Karma can be a real b*tch!
Sorry, Savanna. I do hope your take down request works.
Congrats though on getting Santa Baby onto Kobo and itunes!
Serena, oh thanks about Kobo and itunes. I've never had a book on itunes before. My other siren books are on Kobo. Now, I'm waiting to see if B&N will ever get Santa Baby up??? They can be notoriously slow. Although, my other books look good on their sight.
Yeah, it was grrr-city. For one thing the author name had obviously been left blank on purpose, although it was on the cover art. I was in pretty good company as far as other authors downloaded. Lisa Kleypas [sp?]was the leader. I wonder if she knows, or if those are actual free reads.
