Lots of holiday reading fun to be had at The Romance Studio Christmas Party. The Kougar is not one of the participating authors simply because she needs the time to write. Late night twinkly meows, my sparkly and spectacular Big Cats... a mild day on the tame prairie... however! Early in the morning, the Kougaress looked out her west-facing window and saw a most unusual sight... she even had to look twice because she didn't believe what she was seeing at first. A Surreal Pink Sky. No kidding, the sky was a glorious shade of luminous pale pink. Thin clouds that covered the sky reflected the rising sun, and the sky looked entirely pink for a bit. It was amazing. As if the sky was veiled by pink, and a golden light shone through.
No, this Big Cat hasn't seen anything like it before. Yes, she's seen gorgeous and adorable pink fluffy clouds, banks of them. But never this.

Per usual, the Kougar's head is all a-twirl with the promo side of being an author. And, Monday is always a mad whirl of promo opportunities. So...
And, so, when the Kougar posted her six sentences at TITLE MAGIC, and after reading them countless times, she discovered a minor error, but still an error. Yep, her mild case of dyslexia had kicked in during all the polishing. Is she going to upload new corrected versions of SANTA BABY, SEVERAL STARS AWAY. The answer: NO. Why tempt fate at this point?
It is cool to see that Santa Baby has sold copies... yahoo! At Bookstrand, AllRomanceEbooks, and Amazon, of course. No, this Big Cat has not checked the numbers.
Commentary: Several large music sites have been shut down recently under the guise of copyright infringement. Even though it was determined several of the sites were perfectly legal, they will not be allowed to continue. Why? Because the gov said NO. Because the gov is in bed with the music corp industry, and 'they' want a monopoly over what becomes popular. This is true of the Entertainment Industry, in general. THEY want the right to determine what will be sold and what won't. This is the REAL REASON for the copyright bill. It is not to protect us little folks and our books, or our music, or our movies... or whatever creative endeavor we choose. It's all about the BIG GUYS and what THEY want.

Oh, Serena, glad to see you back! Hope you had lots of holiday fun.
Yeah, everything moved kinda fast, once I could upload or download the different formats. Bookstrand was really easy overall. They have this cool feature where you can just drag the book to, and it processes it. ARe is much tougher to download to, and other authors have problems. But, I managed to make three of the good-selling formats available. And I know there have been some copies sold since that feature of 'those who bought this book also bought that book'... so, some sales. But, I haven't checked the actual stats... too thin-skinned. Really, I'm not much of a biz gal.
