IMO ~ Reflections from an old queen of romance
Greetings, sweet and feisty-clawing Felines... ~whew~ what a whirlwind of a day, biz wise, and the winds swept over the tame prairie this afternoon, whipping the leaves around and baring the branches... lordy, lordy, can the days move any faster... most likely the wrong the question to ask because moi does not want to know the answer...
Yes, the Kougar is still penning along on Kandy Apple, and coming to the end of another chapter. It’s a take-a-breath time for Kandace, Zin and Zol. After defeating the alien sorceresses, they are recovering and learning more about each other, what their life together might look like after sexually creating their triad of power... you know, that time of discovery, of growing intimacy... and, of course, lots of erotic romping romance... and the final choice Kandace must make.
IMO ~ Reflections from an old queen of romance ~ okay, usually, in all honesty this Big Cat author does not have time to spend reading the Romance Writers Report, official magazine of Romance Writers of America, from cover to cover [if at all]. Using the time for actual writing does her a lot more good.
HOWEVER... the Kougar had a yen and glanced through the November 2010, Volume 30, Number 11... or the latest received mag... and, there it was... GOLD ... check out IN MY OPINION by Bertrice Small... as this icon of a romance author will tell you, she is outspoken and the Kougar has always adored her for it. Well, Ms. Small has something to say that in this Big Cat’s opinion every romance author or aspiring author should read. *Really.*
Here’s a blurb of the first romance novel by Bertrice Small the Kougaress read, lo all those years ago when it was originally released... and no, she was definitely not prepared for the erotic power and the amazing and wonderful historical scope of this epic story... Ms. Small blew this Big Cat away emotionally... and, well, this story still comes to mind every so often, especially the ending... that is the sheer magical force of Ms. Small’s writing.
Janet Leslie is kidnapped, and sold as a slave. Her purchaser? Hadji Bey, the Agha Kislar of the sultan. Known now as Cyra Hafise, she becomes the mother of a future sultan, and a power behind the throne. When her son's favorite tries to poison her, Cyra fakes her own death, returning to Scotland, and the other son long ago smuggled from Turkey in order to save him from death. Back in Scotland a new life, and a new set of adventures, await her. 15th & 16th C. Turkey and Scotland.
Born in Manhattan, Bertrice Small has lived on eastern Long Island for 26 years, and she loves it! She is a Sagittarian, married to a Pisces, with an Aries son. Her greatest passions are her family; Pookie, Honeybun, and Finnegan, the family cats; Nicki, the ederly cockatiel who whistles the NY Mets charge call; her garden; her work, and just life in general.
She is the author of 29 novels of ‘Historical Romance’ including THE KADIN (pronounced Kah-deen), and the beloved series "The O'Malley Saga" and "Skye's Legacy". A New York Times bestselling author, she has also appeared on other best-seller lists including Publishers Weekly, USA Today, and the L.A. Times. She is the recipient of numerous awards including Best Historical Romance; Outstanding Historical Romance Series; Career Achievement for Historical Fantasy; and several Reviewers Choice awards from Romantic Times. She has a "Silver Pen" from Affair De Couer, and an Honorable Mention from The West Coast Review of Books.

Authoress news and mews ~
Oh! Kittens, the happy booty dance ensues. Today the Kougar received an email from a reader/author who LOVED her book, BRANDED BY THE TEXANS... thank you!
By permission ~
I wanted to tell you that I just read Branded by the Texans and LOVED IT! I really hope you are planning more books in the Three Star Republic.
I loved the seamless way you blended a historical western feel with a sci/fi-alternate universe reality. I aways enjoy pop references in a story as well (Captain Sisco and Chuck Norris comments). I'm certain I'll be rereading it many times in the future.
Thanks for the great read!
BRANDED BY THE TEXANS will be ~In Print~ soon. The book cover file has been received and it looks absolutely spectacular... WAHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
This is the Kougar’s official ROARS OF THANK YOU!!! moment to everyone who has purchased BRANDED BY THE TEXANS, or any of her books. She is grateful! ~wahoo good good vibes are coming your way~ this Big Cat luvs ya... yeeeehawww!

Nanoo Nanoo... I mean NaNoWriMo.
by Rebecca Murray
Hi and welcome to your Wednesday fix of Shapeshifter Seductions! Rebecca here bidding you a Happy Humpday. Did everyone make it past Halloween safely with no new hexes, bites, or stalkers? I did, unfortunately, though I did get a hug from an abominable snowman. No, really. I did. He didn’t win best costume but that was only because the ork was more popular. (Who would vote for an ork? They are ugly elves who turned evil. No one likes evil elves.)

MISTLETOE EVERYWHERE Release Day!
By Linda Banche
Mistletoe Everywhere, my Regency Christmas comedy, is here!
A man who sees mistletoe everywhere is mad--or in love.
Charles sees mistletoe. Not surprising, since he's spending Christmas at Mistletoe Manor. But why does no one else see it? And why does it always appear above Penelope, the despised lady who jilted him after their last meeting?
Penelope wants nothing to do with the faithless Charles, the man who cried off after she accepted his marriage proposal. But he still stirs her heart--and he stares at her all the time. Or rather, he stares at the empty ceiling over her head…What does he see?
According to folklore, mistletoe is the plant of peace. Can Penelope and Charles, so full of hurt and anger, heed the mistletoe's message and make peace?

My first F/F experience...WOW
by Dawne Prochilo
When I first started my venture as a writer years ago I was a lowly stringer for a local newspaper. I reported on council meetings and boring school board meeting. For adventure I'd interview the oldest woman in the county. I think she was 92- my memory's not as good as it used to be.

Happy Courtship on another Earth
X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...
Part 675 ~
Sylva sobbed with pleasure as Zeke stroked the sensitized flesh around her pussy opening with his tongue. “Oh, god... what. you. do. to. me.” On fire with ecstasy, she panted and moaned as he plunged his tongue against the rim of her sex, then lapped up her slit again. He took his time, and she was tempted to release herself. Yet, she didn’t want the erotic torment to end, even though her sheath begged for his cock. Besides, Sylva doubted her own personal gunslinger would allow it. “Zeke,” she burst out, as his tongue tip vigorously toyed with her clit’s bulb.
Zeke licked his woman’s aroused nubbin just the way he felt like, the way that put more blazin’ bullets in his ‘gun for hire’, as she’d named his shaft. Yep, his cock was surely his Sylva’s gun for hire. Rewarded by his name, a breathy scream of unbridled pleasure, he lightly nipped her bud, then gripped with his teeth and tugged. “Oh. Oh. Zeke. More...more, please.” With his face taut, hardened by his lust, Zeke could only grin inwardly. He pulled again, then gave a quick tug. She screamed, rocking as she could against his hold on her knees.

Did Harry Reid Steal Nevada?
Paul Joseph Watson & Alex Jones
November 3, 2010
A serious investigation into potential vote fraud needs to be launched immediately in Nevada, after incumbent Harry Reid beat Tea Party candidate Sharron Angle by a clear five points, despite pre-election polls showing Angle four points ahead, amidst suspicious evidence of vote flipping and other dirty tricks on behalf of the Reid campaign last week that were dubbed “criminal” by Angle’s campaign attorney.
Angle clearly had the momentum going into the election, having come from behind to take the lead over the Senate majority leader.
Four separate Rasmussen polls prior to the election had Angle ahead. Two weeks before Super Tuesday, she held a 50% to 47% lead over Reid. One week prior to voting, on October 26, her lead was extended to four points, with Angle at 49% and Reid at 45%.
The race was tight, but surveys clearly showed that Angle was gradually extending her lead as each week went by.
To have a nine point swing, from Angle enjoying a four point lead just a week before the election, to Reid winning the seat by a clear five points, is highly suspicious, especially given the chicanery that came to light just last week. Nine points is not within the margin of error for polls, especially those conducted by Rasmussen, which is considered to be one of if not the most credible polling agency.
When early voting started last week, reports out of Clark County, home to three quarters of Nevada residents, indicated that electronic voting machines were automatically checking Harry Reid’s name on the ballot.
