Feed the blighters to the sharks!

Late evening yowls, my cuddly and warmly cuddled Kittens... the winds are blasting over the tame prairie and they are ‘brrrrrrr’ cold.... yep, it’s freezing temps tonight... since tilting at windmills is sometimes the Kougaress’s favorite past time, she covered her tomato plants, but isn’t holding out a lot of hope for their overall survival... ~sad sighs~
~~~
Feed the blighters to the sharks! Yeah, where is Jaws, these days, when you really need him? Prowling the wrong waters? What? Are ebook pirates not to your blood-discriminating palate, Mr.Jaws, once we skewer their butts and push them off the plank?
Or, perhaps, in this case Land Shark, who starred in an old Saturday Night Live skit, would be the superior choice as The Devouring Assassin. Hmmm...? It could go like this: Land Shark, book-o-gram. Your ipod book-o-gram is here. Land Shark, ma’am, sir. Stolen digital book delivery.
So, why is this Big Cat author fantasy-feeding ebook pirates to the sharks? Beside, the obvious villainy? BECAUSE, as she’s roared before, she works way, way too damn hard writing her stories, to then have her books stolen and treated as if they should just be available for free. After all, I guess, someone is supposed to build you a house for free. Fix your car for free. Grow all your food for free. Authors are just supposed to starve, all so you can read their books for free. Yep, all while you dare complain about the ebook you’ve stolen. And, of course, all while you sit around and amuse yourself like the infamous, but beheaded Marie Antoinette.
Yes, this Big Cat does have compassion for those readers who actually don’t have money to spend, or are so poor they can barely make it. Those who have severe health issues and can’t work, or earn enough. Plus now, there are those who have been victimized by the banksters and are out of work. It’s a nasty, nasty world and we are in a Depression. However, there are contests to win ebooks, and there are lots of free reads. Not to mention review sites are always looking for good reviewers. However, obviously, if you’re an e-pirate, they don’t want you.
What brought about all this? There is now a blog devoted to exposing e-pirates, see below.
Authoress news and mews ~
Okay, then... as the Kougar posted before, she completed her interview questions for the Rites of Romance blog ~ rorreviews.wordpress.com ~ and e-sent... her post is scheduled for the November 5th... HOWEVER, she has received no confirmation her interview made it to its destination... so ~shrug~ she has no clue if it will be posted. Or not.
The Kougar also e-sent a Paranormal Character Interview to Got Romance Reviews, one that was supposed to be for Halloween. To this Big Cat’s knowledge Sable Kiki’s interview was never posted. ~more shrugs~ Given there has never been any response, moi asked to use the interview elsewhere. Well, there’s been no response to that question either.
Thursday Thirteen - Pick a Pic
by Kayelle Allen
I've been working on trailers for my books recently, and have learned about color, balance, light, dark, mood, and so much more. One thing was to look for the "rule of threes" which is to divide the picture into thirds diagonally, vertically, or horizontally. Certain things lend themselves to this. For example, a photo of a beach. 1/3 is sand, 1/3 is water, and 1/3 is sky. Place a few sailboats in the picture and you create a pleasing landscape. Today, I'm sharing 13 ways to pick a good picture. In order to make it fun, I'm using pix of hunks. (Ah... now you're paying attention!) You'll notice how evident this "rule of threes" is after you begin to look for it.
I found out about this blog from Rowena Cherry. Turn about is most definitely fair play. They are posting public information available through internet searches about the pirates (real names and such). And since most everyone knows the amount of public domain information available about you on the internet is scary as hell (we're talking the free stuff, not the ones you have to pay for)... well let's just say, I LOVE this blog.
Happy Courtship on another Earth
X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...
Part 676 ~
Sylva soared and simultaneously felt seared with bliss. It was pleasure, not an orgasm, but extreme effing pleasure. ‘Zeke, Zeke,’ she silently shouted her praise of him. Still, she wanted more. He’d released her clit. Oh, god. She burned for more. “Please...” Her cowboy slid his tongue up her seam again, and she moaned, entirely wanton. “Shine that beautiful moon ass of yours, darlin’, at me and I’ll give you more.” The instant he let go of her knees, Sylva whipped upwards and around. On her knees, she positioned her butt before him, offering her aching clit, her naughty-feeling pussy.
Zeke groaned harshly, then stroked his hands over the round fullness of his woman’s behind. “Cowboy,” she desperately whispered. His beautiful naked bride sank to her elbows. She dipped her back even more, presenting her bloomed carnal rose. Zeke grunted, every particle of him primal for her. His hips jerked forward, his cock lunging for her sheath. ‘Down, stud,’ he mentally ordered. Sliding his thumbs downward, over the slick flesh on either side of her breeding sex, he enjoyed her hot juiciness. Slowly, he stroked up and down, teasing her erotic sensibilities. “Zeke.” She moaned. “You’re killing me...oh, yes, please.”
