Technical Challenge... Uranus Retrograde?

Sassy and sumptuous Kittens, yes, craziness is in the atmosphere... and the Kougaress is blaming it on Uranus Retrograde... so, all of a sudden the USB ports wouldn’t work on moi’s beloved computer... yup and wup, an unscheduled trip into the not-so-big city to hopefully solve the problem... good mews and bad mews... the good mews... well, the Kougaress got other stuff done... and, there was a new USB card put in because the one’s on the computer had gone crazy, or gone bad. Well... this is where some of the bad mews set in, other than it was a particularly nerve-wracking day! Okay, so no one explained the card meant there were new USB ports in the back of said computer... so, frustration set in majorly because... well, the same problem occurred and it was too late in the day to contact anyone... hey, how was this un-tech Cat girl supposed to know that... so, of course, the bloggie didn’t get put up... and other stuff didn’t get done... however, moi did get *some* extra sleep, sorta...

Happy Courtship on another Earth

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 557 ~

Sylva shivered inside her being. Plasma bomb. What was a plasma bomb exactly? ‘Come with me,’ a soft melodic voice invited. ‘Who are you?’ Sylva demanded. ‘I am of the angelic realm. I am here to show you the BP logo.’ Sylva decided she just might be out of her mind. Still... ‘The BP logo? And how do I know you’re really angelic?’ Droplets of rainbow light suddenly swirled around her, so beautiful, Sylva could only stare, stunned. ‘The logo is not what most believe,’ the lovely voice continued. ‘What is it?’ A whoosh surrounded Sylva, and she felt herself soar.

Zeke felt the high arch of his brows. “The operations of the Secret Circle,” his dad answered. “From what we’ve gathered from Coon and Snake’s remembrances, weather manipulation by scalar waves is a definite dang possibility.” Getting the picture, Zeke uttered, “Hurricanes. If that bomb blows, the Earth will be severely wounded.” His dad nodded. “Yep, she’ll bleed bad. We have good ways of sealing her up again, and cleaning up the oil. But, if there are hurricanes that puts a big ole nasty crimp in saving the underwater life.” Zeke felt deadly cold inside. “The fishing areas, the beaches.”

Ugh and lots of ((hugs)), my dear, I just hate when there are technical difficulties. They always remind me of why I should have taken more computer classes in college...lol

Glad you got everything figured out and hopefully with little or no expense!!

Serena, all I assumed when I had no mouse and no keyboard and a stupid message to click here to find out more about he problem... was, that either it was software problem of something wrong with the USB ports.

I took it to the same place that put the modem in, when the old one got struck by lightning... anyway, they found out the ports had gone bad and installed a new card of them in the back of the computer tower. So, hey, it works! Cost me about $55... not too bad, all things considered.

Ah, the life of a writer in these time. The ink doesn't run out of the pen or quill... but, it's always something... huh?

lol...so true, Savanna it is always something else. I'm still happier without the ink and quill... I'd have never published anything because the paper, my hands and clothes would have all been a mess. I'm a bit of a klutz. ;)

Serena, you would have to have hired a sexy scribe. Of course, maybe not enough actual writing would get done.
Once, I could have managed somewhat with pen and quill... however, when I became so seriously ill, writing longhand was simply too much energy and wore me out.

mmmm.... A sexy scribe, damn good idea there, Savanna!

Forget longhand and thank goodness for the computers so I can get my daily fill of sweet Savanna's thoughts!! :)
