It’s alive! Another tomato plant discovered in moi’s jungle of a yard... all alone, this plantly seems to be healthy enough and was probably delivered courtesy of some squirrel, bird or bunny who ate the goods last year.

No water table will be safe from these killing chemicals. The air won’t be safe, either. You know off-gassing, fumes. It doesn’t matter what THEY claim. Either THEY don’t know the truth, or they’ve been paid to look the other way. Or THEY are lying.

Yeah! So there super-techies. Na-na-na... duct tape wins, once again. So sneer if you want... look down your noses at this low-tech tape... but now, you may need it, or its cousin. No doubt, someone will make a fortune selling some fancy cover... whatever... rolling Big Cat eyes here.

Duct Tape Fixes iPhone 4 Woes, Consumer Reports Says

While tech sites and Apple aficionados are debating the iPhone 4, Consumer Reports magazine has made up its mind. In a posting on its Electronics Blog on Monday, the product-review organization said it cannot recommend the popular device because it has a reception problem.

"It's official," the posting by the organization's Mike Gitas said. "Consumer Reports' engineers have just completed testing the iPhone 4, and have confirmed that there is a problem with its reception."

The Good News

Gitas added that, when a finger or hand touches a spot on the lower left side of the device, "the signal can significantly degrade enough to cause you to lose your connection altogether if you're in an area with a weak signal." Because of this, he wrote, Consumer Reports "can't recommend the iPhone 4."

The good news: The fix is simple, though inelegant. A piece of duct tape or "other thick, nonconductive material" over the antenna gap fixes the problem.

Sylva’s thoughts crazily whirled, snatches of what she could recall about Planet X. In her spare time she’d followed up on paranormal topics that appealed to her. Before she knew it, Sylva found herself astrally floating before the high beams of the submersible. Curious about what she could see, she focused her awareness on the sea and the sea floor. She caught mere glimpses of the aquatic life, who appeared to avoid the high beams like the plague. Though, beneath her she saw tiny wiggling creatures and what would looked like a desert landscape, except for the prominent jagged crease.

Zeke snapped his attention back to his dad. “What was the question? I was figuring on your and Jamison’s words.” Jamison gave him a friendly smirk. “I bet you were rememberin’ that sweet new bride you got.” Zeke cracked a grin. “A man cain’t help but think about his wife. That’s for sun-risin’-in-the-morning certain.” His dad gave him a knowing look and Zeke subtly shook his head ‘no’. “How do you analyze it, son? If we can pull off a slow release of the bomb’s energy, do we direct it toward Mexico City, or to the Amazon jungle’s interior?”
