Zeiran "Duff" McDuff of Vretland growled...

Meet the Kougar's latest shapeshifter hero.
~~~
Late night yowls, howls, and growls, bonnie Big Cats... a nice Autumn day on the tame prairie, and the temp was perfect... oh, for some rain, though... oh, wonder of wonders, the Kougaress saw a bee on her trek back from the mailbox... little bee wasn't a honeybee, but was busily gathering pollen from one of the tiny white daisies... hopefully, there is a whole natural hive somewhere... yes, blessed be the pollinators... the moon is still bright and full looking... and, wow, the Kougaress doesn't recall the moon being visible as long as she is from rising in the east and setting in the west... it is definitely weird.
~~~

Oh, wow, with everything going on, the Kougaress forgot to meow about what she heard flying across the sky a couple of early mornings ago... whatever it was flew in westerly direction, and was louder than low thunder... no, there were no storm clouds of any kind... the aircraft had that nuclear engine sound, but much, much louder than this Big Cat has heard before... this thing roared in a mechanical thunder kind of way across the sky, and it could be heard for a very long time... the Kougaress caught a glimpse of a white light a few times, however her trees were in the way, so she didn't see anything clearly.
~~~
BTW... here's some info just in case... the Kougaress had to deal with a deep forehead gash that was bleeding heavily... not on herself... anyhoo, she used a mixture of raw honey and the herb powder from an Echinacea /Golden Seal capsule... Golden Seal is a blood stopper and is antibiotic in nature, as is Echinacea... so once the blood was patted off, she packed the herb powder into the wound, and then ended up putting the honey on an extra large bandage, and placing it over the wound. There was a bit of blood seepage after that, but it was really minimal. When she checked the wound today, it had already mostly healed. So, she placed another honey-coated bandage over it. Honey is a great healer, and knocks the germs out.
Bandages are one those items to stock up on! Talk about a potential good barter item, if needed.
Scots Best of Breed Tavern
by Savanna Kougar
Zeiran "Duff" McDuff of Vretland growled low in his throat, his Scottish brogue coloring the rough sound. For moments, he stared into the high blaze of his carefully nurtured peat fire.
Gods, the overripe earthy smells tended to his soul, and also filled his new tavern. Located outside of Talbot's Peak, Montana in the deep forest, his establishment was a mile and a stone's throw from Dante's Biker Bar.
Duff bellowed his lungs, inhaling the reminders of his Scottish homeland -- his preferred home since the 17th century. But the itch to relocate hadn't been eased by scratching when in his dog form, so he'd followed where it led.
Big Astrological News
The week ahead is looking oddly unromantic ... but this will present you with the opportunity you need to get some serious tasks accomplished!
Venus will be especially busy on October 3. The zodiac's most flirtatious planet starts out in Leo with a pleasant and sensible alignment with Saturn; then, almost immediately, the planet of love hits a romantic wall as it moves out of Leo and into Virgo. Virgo will reign in Venus's frivolity, while at the same time, Venus will counter Virgo's no-nonsense attitude. The result will be an ideal cosmic pairing for business ventures and work relationships. And finally -- still on October 3 -- Venus partners with dreamy Neptune, encouraging you to express more sympathy and compassion in your relationships.
The next day, October 4, sees Jupiter turn retrograde in Gemini, where it will remain in reverse motion until January. Though the effects of this event won't be immediate, you'll eventually find yourself less likely to quickly speak out -- and more inclined to carefully consider what really needs to be said and done.
And now for the week's biggest astrological news: On October 5, Saturn moves into Scorpio for the first time in nearly 30 years! Saturn and Scorpio are bound to bicker over whether a total life transformation is in order (and how to best accomplish it), and unsurprisingly, this will create challenges for you over the next two-and-a-half years. However, you'll also develop a more conscientious approach to practical matters, making it much easier for you to get things done, especially when it comes to your finances. Intimacy may be difficult to come by at this time, but if you work to see eye-to-eye with your partner, Saturn will eventually reward your efforts with real commitment and deeper devotion.
Also on October 5 -- and almost as an afterthought -- Mercury joins Saturn in Scorpio, initiating discreet discussions about money and other deeply personal matters.
Intense energies are swirling around some of your deepest, darkest secrets this week...
BEWARE! My darlings, those of you who buy organic from WHOLE FOODS. WHOLE FOODS has been a very bad company, and is continuing to use deceptive practices as far GM/GMO products. THEY are trying to shut down anyone who exposes them, and are removing vids from YOUTUBE. Plus, it is reported they are moving toward being a regular grocery store while charging much higher prices. Not only that Monsanto representatives are on the company's board.
RIGHT NOW, you cannot trust any of the BIG BOY, BIG AGRA food companies to sell good, wholesome foods.
Woman Loses License Because Red-Light Camera Can't Read
Consumerist - The New Star-Ledger's Bamboozled column has the story of a woman whose license was suspended by authorities in New Jersey for a red-light ticket, even though the car in the photo is clearly not hers - oh, and she hadn't even been in the Garden State in more than a year when the violation occurred.
