Back in our sordid, wild west past.

Not so sordid, but looks like a fun way to spend an evening...

Saturday into Sunday yowls, my Big Cat Beauties... overcast and muggy on the tame prairie for most of the day... yes, rain would be a good thing now... the sunset was a gorgeous wash of pastel pink and orange... and now, the large crescent moon is high overhead in a blue teal sky... the Kougaress heard the eagles a lot yesterday, talking to one another... oh, how she wishes, at this point in her life, that all those boring days stuck in a classroom learning the same thing 'over and over' had been spent learning about Nature instead. ~big sad regretful sighs~

Six 'unedited' sentences written for Chapter Forty-Three ~

"That looks like it could have come from a fancy, old west saloon." After she spoke Sherilyn intercepted the glance Dontoya shot at Zance.

"Yep, me and Donny-cat gave it a new home, you could say. Back in our sordid, wild west past."

"The proprietor owed us some serious cash." In one smooth motion, Dontoya pulled out the center chair.

"Sordid, wild west past...I can believe that about you two rawhide-tough shapeshifting cowpokes. Someday you'll have to regale me with the stories."

I Ain't Wearing What?!
by Solara

Anthony inhaled and exhaled, trying to catch his breath. The look on Josh’s face even sent Troy into a fit of giggles. For someone who loved roaming the sand and shore of their beach house nude, telling him it was opening day for the shape shifters’ naturalists’ campgrounds was another thing.

Mercury, Mercury, Mercury!

The little, winged-messenger planet is firing up the Solar System this week, sending lots of Mercury energy your way!

First, on May 27, the Sun will cozy up to Mercury in quick-witted Gemini, lighting a fire under brain and sparking your mental alertness. Your mind will go into overdrive, and your tongue will quickly follow suit. Things may move so quickly that you lose a little common sense, but at least you won't be bored!

Also on the 27th, Mercury will align with Uranus bringing bolts of inspiration and sudden solutions to long-time problems. Be prepared for some crazy, out-of-the-box thinking, and don’t be surprised when previously overlooked possibilities now stare you in the face.

Then, on May 28, you'll get a quick respite from Mercury as the Sun takes its turn partnering up with Uranus. Uranus doesn't like the same-old, same-old. So your task is to do it differently or try something completely new. Stay in your rut, and life will get hard, fast. Act with courage and creativity, and a whole new world will open up before you!

Mercury can't let the month end without one more appearance, so on May 31, the feisty planet is back, squaring off against Mars and causing trouble. You can try to hold back your opinions, but debates and arguments will be par for the course, regardless. At least disagreements won't last long, and they should help to clear the air.

Extensive UFO Wave in New Zealand
Friday, May 25, 2012

There have been a large number of UFO sightings reported in New Zealand over the past two months. One man even reported seeing a UFO land.

The New Zealand Herald quotes UFO researcher Suzanne Hansen as saying, "He's a very credible source. He saw an object that had landed and said it was definitely not an aircraft or like anything else he had seen.

"I've got 30 (UFO) reports on my desk at the moment from the upper North Island and Northland from the past couple of weeks that we're yet to process. It's unprecedented."

Charles Gillard reported seeing strange blue lights hovering in the air, then suddenly vanishing. The Herald quotes him as saying, "I've never seen anything like it before, but it definitely wasn't somebody with a torch or vehicles as it was above the skyline, not on the hills."

There's still time to learn about nature, Savanna...heck anything you want to learn about!

My philosophy - never stop learning, even if it's just little bits every day. :D

Yeah, that's so true. And I do learn everyday. That's simply how I've been all my life in the learning department. It's just that when you're a kid, it's much easier to absorb as far as the knowledge becoming a part of your being... it becomes like a natural reflex.

With my energy in short supply often, I can only manage so much these days. That's part of the frustration. And I think of all that wasted time when I could have been learning something really useful, instead of being beat over the head with the same info.
