Daniel, an absolutely stunning photo! ~ http://flickr.com/photos/danielcheong/ ~Pardone, moi Kittehs, for the opening bad-word acronym. Let the Kougaress make it clear she adores the color blue and the color orange. Icy pale blue is one of her favorite shades... and well, she did pen the aristocratic fantasy ~ ALL SHADES OF BLUE PARADISE. Just as she also wrote ~ TANGERINE CARNAL DREAMS ~ yep, tangerine and orange were featured as vibrant sensual colors in her sci fi world story.
But what the hell is going on? Why is light blue and orange becoming a ubiquitous combination of colors... almost everywhere moi looks. Credit Card companies, Wal-Mart... orange and blue... blue and orange. It’s enough to make this Big Cat puke. Being an absolute lover of color, the Kougaress enjoys a kaleidoscope of all colors, all shades, all hues... a palette of color ranging from blush rose to florescent green.
Come on, who wants to live in a pale blue and orange world, exclusively? Nasty headache ensuing now... and eyes crossing painfully for this KitKat girl...
What? Is everyone so enamored with light orange and blue that we as a culture must display it everywhere like some sort of unconscious sign that we’re all united?
If there must be blue and orange, why not turquoise and peach? Why not cornflower blue and a blazing shade of orange-yellow?
Color like everything else is a frequency. As such it influences us all at both subliminal and conscious levels. Color is used for healing. A certain shade of pink is used to calm inmates. Color can affect us all at a deep level depending on our individual natures and the experiences we’ve had in life.
So, what is this orange and blue crap? Some sort of corporate pablum for the masses? Created by the warped minds of Fifth Avenue to guarantee allegiance to all forms of TOO BIG TO FAIL commercialism?
This inquiring Big Cat mind wants to know. Before it mentally makes her throw up every time she’s faced with THOSE TWO COLORS COHABITING. Get a room, corporate blue and orange, and stay there! Merge, if you know what moi means, and make the color black, so we all know your true color. Black as Darth Vader.~~~~~~

CURSES WERE STRANGE BEASTS
~ Chronicles of an Earth-bound Goddess ~
CHAPTER TEN ~ Big Shot Damn Detective
Down, goddess girl, she cautioned herself. Her fingertips threatened to blaze like a monster-movie torch and ignite his precious SUV-thing.
“Don’t say that,” he snapped. Barked, actually.
Keziah balled her fists and thought of them as snow cones. She had a weakness for the grape ones, especially. “Don’t say what!? Mr. Copper... condom...”
“Fucking. Don’t say that.”
His gravelly voice interrupted her, unyielding as granite. Keziah snuck a peek at him and hoped he didn’t notice. Even his profile looked like the hardest stone in the solar system found in the mountains of Titan, one of Saturn’s moons.
“Don’t men just luv that crude lewd rude ‘word’?” she sarcastically sang...

Now ~ FIRST! just for the big cool cats ~Happy Courtship on another EarthX-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues....
Part 234 ~Sylva scanned the woman who had halted Zeke in his tracks. She was slender, beautiful in a girl-next-door sort of way. Her forearms gleamed with a lovely tan, as if she spent summers on the beach. “Another woman you were supposed to marry?” Sylva whispered. “Zeke!” The happy excited shriek bounced from wall to wall while the woman rushed Zeke like a skinny linebacker. “I’m married, Sally,” he firmly uttered the instant she skid to a halt. Sylva doubted she’d even been seen. “Meet my bride, Sylva.” Cornflower blue eyes stared at her as if she was an imaginary object.
Zeke figured he must have used up a goodly portion of his luck finding his Sylva. Merlinda, and now Sally. What were the odds? Actually, downright favorable, given Merlinda had been waitin’ to marry him. And Sally could easily have found out he’d come to Two Springs. She’d sworn more than once she wasn’t lettin’ any other man’s lasso settle around her shoulders. Only his. “Parents in town with you, Sally?” he neighborly asked, then tucked Sylva’s arm beneath his deliberately. “No,” Sally muttered, her answer a struggle. “Where did she come from?” Hands planted her hips, she faced Sylva.

THE PINK BLOG ~ THE HEROINE’S HAVE ARRIVED !!! ~
Tuesday ~ Lindsay’s Heroines
Moi’s comment mew-sings ~
Lindsay, everyone has beautifully expressed what's true about your heroines and your skillful brilliant writing.
One reason I find your heroines so appealing is because they represent their times in the sense that they overcome and live, not merely exist. And they are tough, physically and mentally, or they learn to be.
Thanks for sharing Ahhotpe. She's a wonderful anti-heroine! And she's so Egyptian. You must have lived during that time.
As women why shouldn't we write what we know... ourselves.
I have to agree with Linda. It's really tiresome when the focus of a story or a movie is solely on the man or men... which occurs all too often, imho.
Oh, big deal, who cares about fiction that constantly makes the male sex the center of the universe. Why isn't woman and man, as portrayed together, the center of their universe?

Loveliest Big Kittens... Surprise! Surprise! The Kougar’s ongoing story, CURSES WERE STRANGE BEASTS, is an Editor’s Pick at ~ http://textnovel.com ~Last night the Moon hung out with a white-brilliant Jupiter. Side-by-side, they slowly sailed the sky, companions. The Aquarian Age is coming into its own signaled by the partial lunar eclipse and by the Full Moon in the sign of Aquarius.
One of the future trends the Kougar believes is coming about ~ the rise of women. However, not to the lessening of men. More it is about the true feminine nature asserting itself. It’s about women expressing their multi-dimensional facets.
Truly, most of the feminine nature is not known in our world now, despite all the sociological/psychological research that’s been accomplished. Despite, you’ve come a long way, baby.
Women are far more than has been perceived for all of our recorded history or herstory.
The truth is, women don’t know themselves in many vital ways simply because who we are has been so successfully suppressed over the ages. No, not by men, in general. Although, many males, along with the patriarchal culture, have been a party to keeping women ‘in their place’. No doubt about that.
Those responsible for keeping the inner light of women hidden from the world, and thus, successfully keeping women in the dark, have their origins in the time when ancient Egypt suddenly rose, a full-blown complex culture. To this day how Egypt came into being has never been explained... at least, not in the scientific community. Heck, no one can build another Great Pyramid, yet.
Why? Keep women in the dark about their truest natures? It’s all about the power, the evil use of power. No man, no group of men could ever rule the world without the consent of women.
A woman or women kept in a state of ‘being battered’ can’t or won’t realize she has this power, the power to decide who governs. During this Age of Aquarius women will know they own the real power, the power of ‘pouring out the Aquarian waters’ of good.

Just for the cowboy lovin’ big cats ~ a sneaky peekie THE LAST WRITTEN PARAGRAPHS-snippet from BRANDED BY THE TEXANS...
Opening a tall side cabinet Kylie discovered foil bags of coffee beans and coffee-making supplies. The rich aroma had her inhaling several times, just to enjoy. Spying a plain brown cannister with Cocoa Powder labeling it, Kylie grabbed it out.
“The view around here has improved one hundred percent,” Dillon drawled behind her.
Kylie straightened up fast, clutching the cannister to her chest. Slowly, she spun around. “Hot chocolate,” she managed the two words.
Setting the tray on top of what appeared to be a type of dishwasher, he asked, “What do you need?”~~~~~~

Happy Courtship on another EarthX-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues....Part 222 ~Sylva yielded to Zeke’s gentle passionate kiss, following the lead of her feminine instincts. Not to mention he was ultra irresistible, her cowboy. If he did try to ‘tame’ her in the wrong ways, Sylva knew it would crush her emotionally. Still, there were times in life to simply move forward on the path life provided. “Sylva, a man always tames his wife with love.” His gaze held hers, immersing deeply. “Is that so?” she softly returned. “By the way, I’m not taming you. I refuse.” His dark golden brow arched at her defiant declaration. “We’ll run wild together,” he purred.
Zeke grinned inside at her fierce sassiness. Palming the side of her face, he brushed his fingertips on her petal-soft skin, then stroked through her luxuriant hair. “Like suede, darlin’?” Her face brightened with curiosity. “Do you mean like your jacket?” Zeke gave a nod. “Yep, only softer and more supple.” His bride dared a small smile. “Suede for a cowgirl?” she asked. Grinning, Zeke nodded again, then moved them toward her dressing room. “Come on, let’s take a gander at a couple of evening outfits. It’s wild and woolly wear for the fashion conscious cowgirl, according to my sister.”

Sara, fantastic bloggie! I first fell for Robinhood watching that 1937 black and white film. No one has the unique dash of Errol Flynn. Course, I wondered why Maid Marion wasn't riding with him... actually, she does in a lot of stories.
