Talk about a gamechanger... say goodnight, Gracie...

After midnight meows, my dream-walking Big Beautiful Cats... colder and overcast on the tame prairie today... the days are so jam-packed in these times, it's almost like living several days at once... a couple of days ago the Kougaress had an epic dream starring Adrian Paul... unfortunately, she doesn't remember the details that much... however, in the beginning of the dream he was in hot pursuit and persuaded the Kougaress to marry him... then, sadly, once children were involved he became emotionally distant, focusing on the welfare of the children... then once the children were grown, on their own, he began to return his attention back to the Kougaress... unfortunately, she woke up then.

Duck and cover... duck and cover, my darlings.

Talk about a gamechanger... say goodnight, Gracie... say hello to Emperor Palpatine...

Palpatine first appeared as the unnamed Emperor of the Galactic Empire in the 1980 film Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. In this film and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, he is an aged, pale-faced figure who wears dark robes.

In the prequel trilogy, Palpatine is a middle-aged politician of the Republic who rises to power through deception and treachery. As the Senator from Naboo and later the Chancellor of the Republic, he outwardly behaves like a well-intentioned and loyal public servant and supporter of democracy, yet underneath his affable public persona lurks his true identity: Darth Sidious, a Dark Lord of the Sith. As both Palpatine and Sidious, he sets into motion a series of events—including the Clone Wars—which ultimately destroys the Jedi Knights and the Republic, allowing him to usher in the Galactic Empire, a brutal authoritarian regime.

Big Cat BTW Note: yeppie-doodle... ain't no yankee dandy doodle... or is that powder-puff peeing poodle?... the big mucky-muck generals just told congress that they no longer get the power to declare war anymore... instead the US of A military will 'now' be taking their orders from the UN, or the United Nations. Gosh, wow... that means the republic is officially over. Well, there are a few congress people drafting up impeachment papers against the flim-flam-glam-scam man, who recently told them he took his orders from the UN, as well, and no longer needed their services as the congress of these united states... so, why are we paying those guys and gals salaries and perks and pensions [translate that to why is anyone paying fed taxes... uh, oh yeah, the IRS has really big guns and lots of private prisons]... but, yeah, why? since these congress types are now only gov decoration... and, really, who can afford that kind of 'let-them-eat-cake' decoration in these times?... so, howdy, Emperor Flim-flam... what was that? Oh, it's really Darth Soetoro...

Looks like Volcano called another one. What a gamechanger. Congress no longer declares the wars for the US of A.

'Gamechanger' week in many ways...

Weekly Angelic Forecast from Volcano

Straight from the Carnal Cherub himself...

Angelic Forecast ~ #183

Also, this will be a 'Gamechanger' week in many ways -- more on a global level than a personal level, however. Several events will occur here, and on the world stage, that will be like the Titanic getting struck by a superstorm rather than slowly sinking.

Authoress news and mews ~

Gosh, life hasn't cooperated as far as penning. Hopefully, that will change later on tonight.

IF YOU LIKE... Para-Fantasy Romance
by Savanna Kougar

What is Para-Fantasy Romance? Or, in my case Para-Fantasy Erotic Romance... yes, if you don't like erotic romance, then stop here. Although the rough-draft 'excerpt' below -- from my next Indie release -- is 'mostly non-erotic' in nature, and you might enjoy it if you like action scenes.

First, Para-Fantasy is a word/term I made up about a year ago, or so. Paranormal Erotic Romance didn't seem descriptive enough of my books, plus all of the WIPs I have waiting in the proverbial wings.

My *happily ever after* stories are a fusion of subgenres like many are these days... and includes: fantasy, paranormal, futuristic, sci fi, time travel, westerns [cowboys, etc.] ~ the supernatural, superheroes, goddesses and gods, shapeshifters, were-beasts, extraterrestrials, vampires, witches and magical creatures of all stripes and types ~ as well, myth, magick and miracles are themes ~ there are other-world, other-dimension and other-time settings ~ and, oh yeah, gotta have action, suspense and mystery. ~obviously, I do a lot of world building~

As a disclaimer [always good these days] ~ If, by chance, 'Para-Fantasy' is being used elsewhere I don't know about it. The term originated in my over-active imagination.

Thunder Lizard Love
by Pat Cunningham

I have no topic today and I’m in a silly mood, so I’m going to riff off the news that Terra Nova, Steven Spielberg’s big-budget dinosaur show, has been cancelled. Frankly, I’m not at all surprised. Sure, the SFX were neato, but the plots were same old same old (one was a retelling of Hitchcock’s The Birds, with crow-sized pterosaurs) and the characters weren’t all that interesting. In too many cases, they weren’t very bright, either. Episode after episode, I found myself rooting for the dinos.

Mmmm...Han!

It took me a while to convince Darling Diva to give the Star Wars movies a shot, but once she did she fell in love. She's put the entire series on her birthday wishlist. LOL...good thing she doesn't read this blog yet or she'd know what to expect from Mom & Dad as a gift. :D

They are really such a fabulous set of films.

Wow, so only the UN can declare war for the countries that are a part of the UN. That could be a good idea (if every country was a member of the UM) or a very, very bad idea! ~sigh~

Yeah, Star Wars is at the top my list any day. Glad Darling Diva is getting into it.

Trouble is the UN is controlled by corporations like Monsanto and worse. And countries who are members... no guarantee they won't get the slaughter teams in there... which they're doing right now in Africa... just UN troops killing groups of people right and left. And this completely kills off our constitution... and were Americans even asked to vote on anything at all?
