Fast-Action Month Ahead...

The month of March begins...

Late night yowls, my enchanting and lusty-panting Pussycats... warm and sunny without being all that sunny on the tame prairie today... there were gray skies that were not really clouds... good gosh, this evening the Kougaress has heard the froggies singing for several hours now... she only hopes they don't freeze their little froggy bottoms off... good gosh, what a fast-action day as far as all the stuff that has to get done these days. ~sighs~

Fast-Action Month Ahead... yep, March will be one heck of a fast-action month... take cover when needed. Otherwise, ride the hurricane of events like you're surfing the waves.

BIG CAT COMMENTARY ~

It's the land, stupid... not the economy... the Kougaress had one of her deep, the puzzle-pieces coming together thoughts today... So, what do we human beings need to sustain ourselves... really? We need what THE LAND provides. And the land, Mother Earth, 'needs' what WE PROVIDE, care and attention and love... a certain type of nurturing and management that comes from our hearts... there's that famous scene in GONE WITH THE WIND, the movie, where Scarlett O'Hara is expressing her deep connection and love for Tara, for the land... there's always been a war for land. No, not people fighting other groups of people for land. That's not the biggie.

The biggie is one of the themes of Robin Hood. The crown claimed ownership of the land, most of it. And, what did the people get? Squat! And they took their lives in their hands if they dared squat or poach just to save their lives. So, it's THOSE one percenters among us who own a 'crown ownership' mentality, that have driven humanity, by diabolical intention, off the land and into 'unsustainable' cities.

Do you know why the British crown fomented the war between the states, or the Civil War? One reason: they wanted to 'stop' the economic growth of our beloved country, both the agricultural and industrial growth that was turning America into an economically viable paradise, and far more powerful than their empire. They wanted to bring down the quality of life for Americans, ruin our potential. Slavery was not the real issue, and slavery was already being phased out because of the invention of farm machinery.

So, with huge gaps here in history and logic, consider this... what if the southern plantation model had survived... not only survived, but transitioned and thrived. That is, instead of only the city industrialization of the northern states, but what if great landed townships had evolved that included both larger farms and smaller enterprises? What if ranching empires had become the norm instead of the rarity. Or think organic farming blended with the lavish lifestyle of the old south and the ranch empires... but, in a way, the Kougaress digresses.

Not in another way. It's all about living on the land, and loving the land -- whoever you are, whatever your race and heritage. For the most part, we, humanity, have been driven off the land. We've been prevented from these quality-lifestyles. It was also one reason the American Indians were nearly exterminated. They knew how to live off the land, and revere Mother Nature.

In these times, American's are having their land stolen. There are maps that show fifty percent of the land being owned by the gov and denied to 'the peasants', or us. This is not because of global warming or for the sake of saving wildlands. Nope. This is about the 'crown ownership' soulless psychopaths who want total control just like in Robin Hood -- it's the same sick mentality. This is about the fact that the UN has been given all of our national park land. Who controls the UN? Bottom line: the soulless psychopaths who will demand that 'the peasants' live a subsistence existence. That's what THEIR plans are for most of us on planet Earth.

So... it's the land, stupid... not the economy... if we, as the human population, don't regain control of the land, and learn how to live off the land in good and sustainable ways that serve Mother Nature... well...

Cosmic Peaks and Valleys!

Over the next few days, the stars will swirl in a whirlwind of activity as they generate a few ups and downs. Not to worry, though -- it's all with the intent to spice up your life!

First up is Mercury's entry into fiery Aries on March 2, when you won't be able to hold back your opinions! As you'd expect, this could lead to a few awkward moments, but it will also help clear the air of any unspoken tensions.

On the following day, March 3, the dreamy Pisces Sun clashes with uptight Mars in Virgo. Mars in Virgo wants everything done in a very particular way, while the Sun in Pisces couldn't care less about details -- and would actually prefer to avoid them all together. While you shouldn't expect to feel settled on this day, you may still find ways to bring any seemingly pie-in-the-sky plans of yours into the realm of reality.

March 4 sees Venus (still in Aries) oppose Saturn, a transit that will put a damper on your romantic plans while also increasing negativity around you. Your best course of action here may be to simply focus on your work; just rest assured that this difficult phase will pass quickly.

In fact, by the next day, March 5, the atmosphere will already start to improve as Venus moves into sensuous Taurus. Leaving the previous day's sullen mood behind, this aspect will significantly increase your potential for romance by encouraging you to pamper yourself however you please!

Big Food Must Go: Why We Need to Radically Change the Way We Eat
AlterNet - This is not a problem we can solve by going vegetarian or vegan, or buying organic and fair trade.... It is time -- now, not next year -- to de-occupy Walmart. And Archer Daniels Midland. And Tyson Foods. And Monsanto. And Cargill. And Kraft Foods. And the other large corporations that decide what ends up on our plates. Take all our money out, public and personal, from our shopping dollars to school district lunch contracts to the corporate subsidies that uphold these firms' grip on our food supply, and invest it in a new system that's economically diverse and ecologically sustainable. ~ alternet.org/story/154311/big_food_must_go:_why_we_need_to_radically_change_the_way_we_eat?page=entire ~

Goodbye, First Amendment: Trespass Bill will make protest illegal
RT - The House of Representatives approved a bill on Monday that outlaws protests in instances where some government officials are nearby, whether or not you even know it. The US House of Representatives voted 388-to-3 in favor of H.R. 347 late Monday, a bill which is being dubbed the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011. In the bill, Congress officially makes it illegal to trespass on the grounds of the White House.

Interesting commentary today, Savanna! We definitely need the land which is why I'm forever astounded by how incredible bad we treat her. :(

You know as you talked about what if the plantation model had survived I got to thinking about what an interesting story idea that would make. Scarlet in today's day and age and erotic to boot. Could be fun. :)

Oh, that would be fun -- a Scarlett like heroine in today's world where the land is loved and vital. I have had ideas occur where there's a similar world, or an OtherWorld story idea as I call it.
