The golden-veiled moon is magic in the early night sky. We are magic.

Saturday into Sunday purrs, my Autumn-prowling pretty Kittens... a strange windy weather day on the tame prairie... cold but not exactly cold... also warm but not warm... when the Kougaress awoke she had this feeling of a ‘great disturbance in the force’... as far as details... no, she doesn’t have them... of course, in these times, there are so many disturbances in the force... well, take your pick.

The golden-veiled moon is magic in the early night sky.

We are magic. We are made of magic.

Doug Henning - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Douglas James Henning (May 3, 1947 – February 7, 2000) was a Canadian magician, illusionist, escape artist and politician. ...

For those of you Big Cats who don’t remember Doug Henning, check the above Wiki entry. Doug Henning and David Copperfield rose to prominence as stage magicians and illusionists when humanity dreamed wonderful possible dreams of the future -- when magic became possible, once again, to the human mind, the human soul -- when many of us reached for the stars -- when it was about supporting each other in bringing forth our biggest and bravest dreams for ourselves and for humanity as a whole. We wanted to travel to the galactic stars of John F. Kennedy. We were about reaching for the stars with our dreams. We wanted to live our dreams, not just dream them.

Most of that ‘potentiality’ become co-opted by the dark siders, the soulless ones, as has become apparent by what the world became, and is in these times. The Kougaress found out something about Doug Henning she didn’t know. He wasn’t merely magical in being, in personality and in presentation. If you’ve ever seen one of his shows, it is pure magic. It leaves you feeling magical.

Doug Henning wasn’t only a stage magician-illusionist. No, he became deeply involved in transcendental mediation, and had conceived a way to bring the power of magic to people as a direct experience. That is, until he passed on -- and the project basically cancelled. In all honesty, the Kougaress must question his death. She must wonder if it really was a natural passing. More likely, he was murdered, possibly by means of a cancer virus, developed under the auspices it would be used to eliminate Cuba’s Castro. [Search: Mary, Ferrie & the Monkey Virus]

Today the Kougaress learned Doug Henning could levitate. This is from someone who knew him personally. Now, levitation itself, while a foreign experience to many of us, has been, and is being accomplished by Yogis and many others.

While never actually levitating herself, nevertheless, this Big Cat has been in a state that while she was running, she began to float as in her footfalls lightly touching the ground and at the same time her strides were suspended far longer than if she’d been merely running like usual.

We human beings are not merely bodies. We are, to tell the truth, divine. We have been taught we are ‘only’ material evolutionary apes by those who fear us, the soulless ones. Not true. We are magic. We are made of magic. And it’s time to reclaim our heritage. It is the rise of Magick.

Mutants and Mystics, Dreamland's 111111 Show!

Jeff Kripal is the Chair of the Department of Religious Studies at Rice University and the author of the introduction to Whitley Strieber's upcoming book "Solving the Communion Enigma." Here, he tells us about the new mythical figures of our age, the superheroes, supervillians and 'dangerous strangers' that populate our imaginations and--in the form of apparent aliens and 'others' of all kinds--our lives. "Mutants and Mystics" includes a chapter on Whitley Strieber that he has called "the best thing ever written about me," and here Whitley and Jeff speculate in a completely new way about how it is that a living presence could be penetrating our lives through the medium of myth and imagination.

This discussion is so intense that it was capable--at least for your Dreamland editor--of acting as a kind of conjuring experience. By the time I had finished listening, I felt as if a very real door had opened in me that has been closed all of my life. Unlike 99% of the people talking about things like alien presence, Jeff and Whitley actually understand this stuff and can communicate its very real energy just in their voices. Forty five utterly amazing minutes.

Whitley says on the back cover, "I found the light that poured from these pages as blessed as it is breathtaking."

Dante's Side Business
by Solara

Macy looked at the labels on the boxes Kazim set inside Dante’s office door. The word sex stood out in bold letters all over the portion of the label she could see. The whispers Kazim and his friend Frank exchanged had Macy wondering if she dare ask what was going on.

Dante’s agreement to let her work under the table as head cashier and bookkeeper got her into sections of the interspecies pleasure palace most would not know existed. Kitty’s off and on appearances were nothing short of miraculous. Macy knew from the moment she’d seen Kitty morph that Macy would help her any way she could. Love didn’t come easy and the heavens knew folks deserved a bit of happiness where they could find it. So now, this new business venture had Macy and Kitty talking whenever they could.

Savanna, your information on Doug Henning made me think of the book The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. I read it back in the 90's and adored the was very magical. Have you read it?

Serena, I have. And, it was mystical-magical. I think I read his second book too, but it's been long ago. If not for the rise of the dark side, I believe we human beings would have made far more progress toward living magically creative lives.
