Maybe Someday... the truth about Roswell...

What a gorgeous cape... wouldn't the Kougaress adore dressing up this way for a 'bring your own wolf' costume party.

Nighttime Saturday into Sunday meows, my trippy and treasured Big Cats... the crescent moon is gorgeous in the early night sky... does she ever appear huge and the Kougaress doubts it’s only atmospheric conditions... oh, how this Big Cat is wishing for some good soaking-in rains, right now... it’s so dry... however, nothing on the immediate horizon but blue sky...

Roswell Open Sesame

Long time KPFA broadcaster Ralph Steiner has amassed a remarkable group of recordings of news announcements and interviews about the Roswell Incident. This edition of Dreamland begins with a recording of the first radio news report about the crash, and then Ralph takes us through a terrific history of Roswell, as told in interviews and recordings he has collected over his long career. Much of this material has never been heard before, and it has never been brought together in a single program anywhere. Fascinating new insight into the Roswell Incident. We will also hear the ORIGINAL recording of Colonel Jesse Marcel, who actually recovered the debris, describing what he saw, and Congressman Steven Schiff discussing the strange reaction of the Air Force when he instituted an investigation of the incident by the General Accounting Office.

Authoress news and mews ~

This was a *get everything else done* kind of day. Although, the Kougar made progress in her read-through improvement of Red Lioness Tamed during the night hours yesterday. Time gets confused when you’re a night owl

A New Love Interest
by Solara

Josh groaned as the next contestant stepped to the microphone. Of all the screwed things Anthony could have come up with, he decided to introduce Karaoke Night at the bar. It wasn’t enough that a bunch of drunk horny shape shifters crashed and trashed the bar almost every full moon. Now they were howling to oldies but goodies from 60’s and 70’s along with tunes from the 80’s and 90’s too.

The gent dressed in business slacks and a button down shirt looked severely out of place amongst the oilrig workers, bikers, and other mix of gay and straight clients filling the bar. His trimmed beard and short hair stuck out amongst long hair, jeans, t-shirts and leather gear. Not that the local shifters didn’t own respectable businesses like the humans in town. Josh smiled remembering the look on Sally’s face when she learned her Gynecologist was a wolf three nights out of the month.

Mmm, that is a gorgeous red cape...sexy in and out of the bedroom! ;)

Unfortunately, since watching The Incredibles years ago with darling diva(this was her most fav movie for a while) I have a hard time seeing capes without thinking of the petite fashion designer character who makes all of the superhero's outfits. She says loud and proud... "No Capes!" then list all the gnarly ways caped SH's have died in the past! LOL

Yes, it's a Disney movie, but it is definitely a must see for kids and grown-ups alike! :)

Serena, oh no! about capes. Yeah, I've heard of that movie, and I even saw the TV commercials at the time. But never did see the actual movie.

I've been in love with velvet capes, especially floor-length, old-fashioned capes since I first saw one as a kid. I've made a few, and love them! I used to wear them for Halloween costume parties, and at Renn Faires. In the wind they're warmer than regular coats.
