Last Week ~ The Color RED

In Bodø, Norway some transparent clouds made the partial solar eclipse of June 1-2, 2011, look more dramatic. Observed with a H-alpha filter, more details on the sun are visible. The rare "midnight eclipse" began on Thursday, June 2, 2011, but crossed the International Date Line to end on Wednesday, June 1.

Nighttime yowls and meows, my glorious and gorgeous KitKats... ninety degree heat has taken over the tame prairie... so not fun until after sundown when the cooler temps began... oh, it is so incomparably lovely here, and everywhere on Mother Earth... so sad humanity as a whole doesn’t take time to enjoy, and smell the roses.

Lots of not-fun stuff on the immediate horizon. Watch your tails, my Big Cats. This Big Cat loves ya!

Color Red Increases the Speed and Strength of Reactions

ScienceDaily (June 2, 2011) — What links speed, power, and the color red? Hint: it's not a sports car. It's your muscles. A new study, published in the journal Emotion, finds that when humans see red, their reactions become both faster and more forceful. And people are unaware of the color's intensifying effect.

The findings may have applications for sporting and other activities in which a brief burst of strength and speed is needed, such as weightlifting. But the authors caution that the color energy boost is likely short-lived.

"Red enhances our physical reactions because it is seen as a danger cue," explains coauthor Andrew Elliot, professor of psychology at the University of Rochester and a lead researcher in the field of color psychology. "Humans flush when they are angry or preparing for attack," he explains. "People are acutely aware of such reddening in others and it's implications."

Last week ~ From Volcano’s Angelic Forecast ~ #143

The color red is likely to be prominent this week, both good and bad. Take another look at your relationship with this color, and how it figures in your life, or how it does not.

Certainly, this played out in the Kougaress’s life, and she found the article above yesterday. How it played out for everyone else is another matter. However, on the world stage... well, SADLY, lots of blood spilled in the Mideast protests

Chile: Puyehue volcano chain erupts, forcing evacuation

Thick plumes of smoke billow into the sky The Puyehue-Cordon-Caulle volcano range was last active in 1960

A chain of volcanoes has erupted in southern Chile, forcing the evacuation of thousands of residents.

Large columns of smoke have been rising from the Puyehue-Cordon-Caulle volcano range, about 800km (500 miles) south of the capital Santiago.

Witnesses also reported a strong smell of ash and sulphur. A dozen small earthquakes were recorded before the eruption began.

The officials have issued a red alert - the maximum warning level for the area.

Evacuation orders were issued for some 3,500 people, the local authorities said.

They added that the residents would be relocated in temporary shelters in safe areas.

So far there have been no reports of any injuries.

However, ash clouds have drifted to neighbouring Argentina where officials have ordered residents to stay indoors.

A regional airport in the Argentine city of Bariloche has been closed due to the volcanic ash.

Eyewitness Juli Kessler told the BBC she saw "big black clouds hanging over the Andes" and ash dust lying on the road.

It is the first time since 1960 that the volcanic chain has erupted.

The BBC's Gideon Long in Santiago says Chile is one of the most volcanic countries in the world.

Authoress news and mews ~

The Kougar hit a snarl during edits. All is resolved now. However, it took awhile to figure out how to resolve it. This Big Cat would share, but she doesn’t want to let that ‘cat’ out of the bag. But, hey, don’t try to mix the Italian language with the French language. ~smiles~

BIG CAT NOTE: Be careful of shopping malls, my darlings. They could become the new target for false flag attacks. How easy is it to demonize Islamic shooters, or the militia, or those who cherish the second amendment. Or, whoever they deem an enemy of the state. Your life and the life of your loved ones means ‘nothing’ to these psychopathic thugs who want total control of everyone and everything. Whatever you do, do not give up your weapons to the gov. Remember, the safest cities are the ones with the most gun ownership. If you’re a criminal, do you choose the house with armed residents, or do you choose the house with no defensive weapons?

Plus, this will likely be a ‘reason’ to bring in the pervert TSA creeps along with their naked nuke machines. Oh, and they’re talking about wearing electronic bracelets on planes, too.

Collier County, Florida — Have you heard the one about a homeowner foreclosing on a bank?

Well, it has happened in Florida and involves a North Carolina based bank.

Instead of Bank of America foreclosing on some Florida homeowner, the homeowners had sheriff’s deputies foreclose on the bank.

It started five months ago when Bank of America filed foreclosure papers on the home of a couple, who didn’t owe a dime on their home.

Yep, right on time, there are False Flag Cyber attacks... gee, and there’s that nasty BIG BROTHER cyber bill waiting to be passed in the throw-the-bums-out congress. [most of them].

On, and gee, hackers recruited by Microsoft and Google and Yahoo are attacking those who dare NOT to believe in THEIR unscientific, con-you version of global warming. Yep, just an updated version of the Inquisition.

The most powerful weapon is the human soul on fire. ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

Serena, no telling... though, I have a feeling it might not be good. Blessings to ALL!
