Outlaw Training Academy

Jane Russell ~ a French Poster for her movie, Outlaw.

Late evening meows, darling-est and luckiest Felines... the New Moon on the 4th sneaked by this Big Cat, but who can tell with the sky almost constantly overcast?

Ohhh-ohmy, the Kougaress’s eyes and brain are awhirl with all the internet research she’s done, or fell into, today... luck of the Irish, the origin... found a fabtastic picture of redheads celebrating redhead day... Celtic gods and goddesses, signs and symbols... Chihuahua shapeshifter leading to a great article about Black Devil dogs and Hellhounds... the recently departed, ultra fascinating actress, Jane Russell, who stared in Outlaw... does she look glamor-spectacular holding a revolver...

Outlaw Training Academy ... good roaring gosh, we should all have gotten serious outlaw training for the times ahead... school was such a waste, for the most part!!! Not the private college this Big Cat attended, but the rest of it... ~shuddering at the pure waste of time~

Heckfire, instead of being *domesticated* by all the crap that passed for education in elementary, junior high and high school, the Kougaress could have been learning valuable skills... like how to survive in the backwoods and live off the land, how to build your own home, build furniture, build and maintain your own machines... how to shoot a bow and arrow... how to use a knife, and shoot any weapon when necessary... the Kougaress knows how to ride a horse... but, that skill should have been perfected... how to farm on a small acreage, how to organically garden, collect wild herbs.

AND! If you’re on the run, how to think and act like a successful outlaw... where to hide, when to hide, how to hide out, who to hide out with... if you want a gang, how to successfully form one, and the social skills required to relate well with your posse gang... yeah, and who to steal from, and the best methods... stealing as in taking from the ‘bad guy, not the good guy’ super rich, then giving to yourself, your family, your friends, and those in need.

Yeah, bring back the best of the best outlaws [anyone own a time machine?]... Robin Hood, Highwayman, Billy the Kid, Jesse James, Belle Starr, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid... all those women and men who didn’t get caught, who had good hearts... yeah, Cat Burglars wanted too. Oh, and with Sky Net in place, where are you Sarah Connor?

~Happy sighs~ I love Robin Hood! As a little girl I crushed on the little red fox Robin of Disney fame, as a teen it was Robin of Sherwood and major crushing on Michael Praed and as an adult well the BBC's Robin Hood intrigued me. Through it all was the idea of there being someone out there caring for the poor and those in need. Also, I used to dream of being Maid Marian. ;)

I so need to write a Robin and Marian story!

Oh, you do!

I never did get to see the BBC Robin Hood. However, the black and white, I think it was with Erol Flynn, and other movies, including the Kevin Costner Robin Hood. Plus, all the storybooks I read. I do remember red fox Robin Hood. Talk about shapeshifting, yeah, why not?

I would so love to write my own version, and have one, two, probably more started... good lord, there must be a time closet-office somewhere!
