After the witching hour yowls, my KitKats... here it comes, THE NEW YEAR... can you believe it?

Happily, the Kougar got some good penning done, today, on her WIP ~ Kandy Apple and Her Hellhounds ~ including a how Persephone creates philosopher stones... yes, this Big Cat is still at it, and has completed nearly 63,000 words. It’s been much too slow for her liking, but YOWLS, that’s life.

Sylva tingled strongly, and in the next instant psi-knew Zeke was on his way back home. She celebrated inwardly, but didn’t voice her intuition. The feeling of jinxing it, if she did, seized her. Instead, she simply smiled, hoping. Even though, life on this Earth didn’t feel as tenuous, still, things could go wrong. Looking at her kindly, Nevada asked, “Is that all you sense for right now?” Sylva nodded. “For right now, I have a feeling, though, I’m tuned in.” After studying her for a moment, a grin creased his face. “Sure enough. Tell you what, I’ll contact the Center.”

Zeke felt the impact of his own words. And dang well liked the sound of them. “Yep,” Wayne interrupted. “We’ll play ball with your Center.” Wes straight-eyed him. Zeke gave them each a hard stare with not one apology on his lips. Rising, he gave a short nod. “I’ll go make arrangements.” As he stepped outside, Zeke hailed Bucko, then moved to meet him. “Can you get the Sheriff on the horn? Looks like this a larger matter than just our county.” Bucko grinned. “Got you covered, buddy. Sheriff is just landin’. Seems like these two got some big connections.”
