The Black Wolf or Kandy Apple?

Greetings, Big Kittens... it was a Spring-lovely day on the tame prairie, the birdies are busily flitting about, the bullfrogs are singing... and this Big Cat was able to get out and walk farther than she has for awhile.
Tomorrow is looking like a busy, busy day for moi... and not one she is really looking forward to... miracles are definitely needed.
Of course, that’s the state of our world. Many, many of us need miracles, right now... BIG MIRACLES... may it be so for all of us. Oh, if only the Kougaress had her fairy godmother wand.

So, now this Big Cat author has another dilemma. If she wants, KANDY APPLE FOR HALLOWEEN, her Witch and Hellhounds story e-pubbed, it has to be submitted by May 2010... this means the Kougar would have to devote her writerly energies to completing and polishing this WIP, instead of finishing THE BLACK WOLF’S PROPHETESS. Yowl-dang it!!!
Plus, she has no clue when the edits for BRANDED BY THE TEXANS will arrive. Since it’s 113,000 plus word count... the editing process will be time-intensive... and may mean she couldn’t get Kandy Apple finished in time, anyway... Kitty screams of frustration up to the skies...

She didn’t, keeping her gaze trained on possum-unmoving man. “Yup,” Aunt Martha’s captive broke the silence, “I got a full growth of whiskers now. Then, I was clean shavin’ as you. Remember them Senorita twins we met one hot Mexican night. What was their handles... Constance... let’s see now... kinda scrubbed it clean out of my mind. Wife don’t like it, if ya know what I mean.”

Zeke almost heard his aunt’s formidable frown before she spoke. “Yer married, ya piece of buzzard carrion. What woman would want you?” Hearing his dad inch closer to the first bushwhacker, Zeke knew there must be something to what he’d been saying or his father would have dismissed him and began making arrangements to have them taken away. “Nelson?” Nevada asked. “Shhh,” the bushwhacker warned, “don’t go by that handle no more. Just call me Coon. Josita, that was her name... a voluptuous beauty with big... ow, stop it, woman. I’m trying to save my hide here. You was with...”
