Not as leadership is practiced in these times of severe corruption, where there is a veritable global mafia of the worst sort sucking off everyone else. But leadership that comes to the fore because of who we are naturally, our personal experiences, and the gifts that we all have as individuals. For a simple example, in the wilderness someone who is experienced and wise in the ways of survival and knowing the lay of the land would be the natural leader, especially in an emergency situation. However, that same individual would likely cede or share leadership, if they’re smart, to another individual in the group. Say, if a medical emergency occurred, and there was someone who had more skills, and more knowledge. Someone who could make better decisions at that point in time. This is the ebb and flow of a group, of a community, a family, or a one on one relationship. This sharing of the leadership role. It’s not about ‘I’m in charge no matter what’. It’s about who is most capable in a given situation. Now this seems ultimately logical and practical to this Big Cat. However, way back when, whenever she expressed this idea, she would get stares of non comprehension, or an argument against it that made no sense. However, the Kougaress believed in the long run this way of being would become obvious, and practiced more and more. To a degree this has happened. Yet, not. For some reason, and many reasons, humanity as a whole doesn’t seem to get it. As a whole, humanity refuses to tap into their leadership ability, remaining what many call the ‘sheeple’. Yep, the hierarchical model still runs the show way too often, to the detriment of us all, and to the detriment of society worldwide. And that is a brutal disappointment to this Big Cat. ~~~~~~

Now, for the high strangeness portion of this post... this Big Cat has heard several loud, loud sounds recently, outside, that sort of sound like thunder, but isn’t... at least, not any kind of thunder the Kougaress has heard before, and there’s never any stormy weather around... also, it doesn’t sound like a sonic boom either... as this Big Cat remembers them.

Dazed and Amazed... this is a phrase one lady eloquently and pithily used in a written statement about the poor quality and the endless stupidity of news reporting these days... good gosh, it’s just a casino of bright-flashy, soap opera, mindlessly inane stories that have little to do with any current reality, but is based on some kind of bizarro myth that has been propagated, since, at least, World War II times... many Europeans, and those who live in other countries ‘laugh’ at Americans now because the news here is far more controlled than in Russia, and throughout the rest of the world. Yes, there are intrepid, outstanding reporters and investigative journalists. However, often, their stories are suppressed, or relegated to where most folks will never find them. So, how many Americans know we are now the laughingstock of the world in this regard? Guess, that hasn’t been ‘reported’... huh?

Note: the Kougaress has always adored certain spices, and has a yen for spicy food at times. It’s been well known for the past couple of decades that using cayenne and hot spices, for example, prevents cancer, especially stomach and intestinal cancer. Cayenne also feeds the heart, improves circulation, and has cured some folks, so they don’t undergo bypass surgery. Spices, in general, contain substances that are good for your health. Most over the counter and prescription medications are based on the use of spices, but adulterated which causes the side affects. Tylenol is based on the spice, turmeric. Gee, why not just used the organic spice, especially since turmeric has been lab-proven to be healing in ways the use of medication never could. ~shaking kitty head~

AP - Bands of heavy rain and strong wind gusts from Tropical Storm Lee knocked out power to thousands in Louisiana and Mississippi on Saturday and prompted evacuations in bayou towns like Jean Lafitte, where water was lapping at the front doors of some homes.

Back to School With a Friday Five...

Ziva chewed on the cap of her pen, worried that she’d made a wrong decision for this week’s Friday Five on the G&B website. With school starting next week this would be a great five for the kids, both shifter and human, to connect before the official first bell of the year. Unfortunately, it seemed the adults in town decided to play along as well. Many of their responses were downright inappropriate for children’s eyes…even shifter young who tended to mature faster than their human counterparts.
Scrolling through the replies already piling on the post she wracked her brain trying to figure out how to deal with the issue, without removing anyone’s posts. When it came right down to it, most of the adults replies were to damn funny to lose. Take for example, her mates.

Depressing thoughts ~There is so much happening in the world these days, the not-good stuff, this Big Cat ends up not even being able to think clearly for moments because it’s all so off-the-charts staggering... never did the Kougaress ever believe she would be living in this kind of totally, gone-berserk world. A huge group of the first responders are NOT being allowed to attend the 911 events this year, and are being treated like scum by the gov when it comes to their severe and ongoing health problems. There is a persistent conversation going on where Air Force insiders are saying that underground nuclear detonations caused the so-called earthquake in DC, and across the US. Gibson Guitars has been mugged badly by the mafia gov thugs, and the company is in a world of hurt over not one actual wrongdoing, as are many health food companies like Rawsome in California... the Amish are under constant attack for living a clean and good country life... and, it was in-your-face revealed that tons o’billions of dollars have been *lost* in the war theaters... furthermore, the report says it is likely to continue... but, hey, never mind about you, the taxpayer, who is now homeless and hungry.

Tangerine Sundown, Tangerine Crescent Moon... oh, Kittens, the sun as it set on the tame prairie was an amazing neon shade of tangerine and yellow... and just gorgeous. Then! The crescent moon came up in a teal twilight sky, and was also a bright tangerine gold. The Kougaress especially loves this part of Mother Nature.

The Kougar did an exhaustive i-search for a 1988 print ad of the Cool Water Man, a cologne or aftershave by Davidoff. She found pics, just NOT the one she kept searching for... where he is rising naked from the water like a primal god, a backshot... darn! In fact, that was the one and only fan letter this Big Cat ever wrote to a male model, simply because she had a huge ole crush and was impressed with the artistic iconic image. Joe Gogol actually wrote back with a polite thank you. There are youtube vids of Cool Water commercials, but it was that magazine print ad that really did it for this Big Cat girl.
So, why this search now? Because, that image is the best one the Kougar could think of to provide a visual of her wolf shifter hero, White Fang, in his human nekkid form. And now, she can’t find it on the world wide webbie. ~very disappointed mews~
