Saturday late afternoon, gorgeous and gamboling Big Cat Beauties... so, yesterday the tame prairie had leaden, threatening skies, and was a bullseye for a couple large storm systems... but nada... just some rain... and today the weather systems have fast-tracked it overhead with nothing much than some feisty winds... 'course, it's never over as far as stormy weather... thus and so, it looks like the Kougaress may have to change internet providers, given her current location... she's stayed with earthlink lo these many years because they've been reliable, and didn't significantly change their price for service... however, they've partnered with time warner, and this Big Cat had a nasty experience with them about ten years ago... plus, their price for high speed internet is higher than the competitor... whatever, this Big Cat is going to give century link a try at this point, see if that works... the only thing is, she wants to keep her earthlink mailbox and addy... and has to find out about doing that... what a mess! ... oh, and at about 9:20 pm yesterday, there was a  weird explosive sound ... only one that she heard, which was due north and sounded like it was just above ground level... whatever, everything is weird these days.

Well, no flash from me again this week.  Sorry.  I'm down to the last two weeks in my school semester and I still have a math final to study for, a report to write, a PowerPoint presentation to put together and a website (with media queries) to create.  I'm running on vapors here.

Gill roused, cocked his head, and listened.  The noise sounded again, louder this time than last.  Moving carefully to not wake Chloe, he rose.  He stuck his feet in his slippers and pulled on his bathrobe.  A chill had taken over the town again.  Great fluffy gray clouds blocked out the sun most of the last month.  The weather center predicted a late spring snowfall overnight. 

Half way down the hall, the noise grew in volume again.  Gill crept to the top step and paused.  Listening intently, he frowned.  Who snored so loud that the whole house seemed to snore with them?  No guests occupied the other bedrooms.  Was some dumb ass burglar trying to break in?  Or get out?  Whatever they were doing it was loud enough to broadcast they wanted capture.

As he looked up at the encroaching sky, he saw the most fascinating view of his forty years existence on planet earth. According to Saidu:
“There appeared a wide, large mass of something that looked like a cloud from nowhere and it was flying slowly over the village just at the height of an average tree.
“The cloud was transparent and I saw beautiful tall buildings inside it.
 It was like a flying city. And from it I could hear the sound of machines making noise just as you would hear at Ashaka cement factory.”
To be fair if Saidu had of been the only witness of this brilliant yet strange experience, it pretty much would have been impossible to take his personal testimony as fact. But it was then discovered after his statement that the ‘flying city’ was witnessed by almost all of the villagers in the local area at the time, in fact hundreds of them, the Chief Imam of the sole village Mosque inclusive. Children and adults all saw and corroborated the EXACT same story!!!

Volcano Calbuco, which has laid dormant for more than 40 years, suddenly erupted on Wednesday causing a thick plume of ash to cloud the sky while thousands of people living in its shadow were forced to flee the 'apocalypse-like' event.
Hundreds filmed the eruption, near the southern port city of Puerto Montt, Chile, and its deadly ash cloud which caused all nearby flights to be grounded for safety.
But one amateur cameraman was surprised to see what appeared to be white lights close to the enormous plume of ash and smoke rising from the mouth of the volcano.
...The footage shows the unexplained pair of lights floating dangerous close to erupting volcano before disappearing.
Tens of thousands of people have speculated on what the UFO could be, suggesting everything from police or emergence services helicopters, to a kind of optical illusion or even an alien craft.

Another Pro Gets a UFO Photo, this Time over Rome

Surprisingly, this is the second time in a week that we find ourselves publishing a UFO story on the main site. Our policy is to reserve these stories for our Out There section unless there is a level of professional involvement and virtual certainty that the object cannot be explained. This is such a story. The photographer, who wishes to remain anonymous, has been confirmed by the Mediterranean UFO Center to be a professional celebrity photographer. He was shooting footage of a passing airliner from his patio in Rome when the object briefly appeared. He did not notice it while making the video. Investigator Angelo Maggioni of the Mediterranean UFO Center points out that the object is self-illuminated because the lights on it flash both as it faces the sun and as it faces away. He estimated the height at 36,000 feet, approximately the altitude of the airliner. There is no effort on the part of the videographer to track the object, which flashes past only briefly.

...My Thoughts
As I put my thoughts together on this, I am leaning more and more towards a martial law scenario that will be taking place in the south.  Let’s look at our key pieces of the puzzle:
1) All military units and hardware along the southern border
2) Large stores being taken control of with no regards to the contents
3) Preparation to cut communications in the area to keep people from knowing what is going on, or from telling people what is going on
4) Purchases would not be possible, nor would you be able to withdraw your money
5) Local law enforcement would be kept in the dark
6) With all our military units located in the south, it would be easy to start their push northwards in a straight line across our country
The more I think about this, the more nervous I am becoming.  They seem to be focused on a small group or people for now.  Why?  Who knows.  Since this is not happening all across the nation, I am ruling out natural disaster and foreign invasion.  This could be a financial crisis and this will help lock down a decent portion of the country, but if that were the case, they would be planning this in every major city in the US, not just the sparsely habituated southern most states.  All I can say is, we need to be alert and prepared to act quickly if we want if this is what I think it is.
