8-8-8 ~ What does it mean...

8-8-8 ~ August, 8, 2008 ~ What does it mean? Before the Kougar deeply ponders and speculates, and spills the thrills and chills, moi is going to give an attentive ear to Glynis McCants, the numbers lady, who will be featured on the first hour of Coast-to-Coastam ~ http://coasttocoastam.com ~ this Friday night.
Meow-it to say, this has been a day of extreme pageantry and extreme violence and the gathering of many extremes on the world stage.
The pic? he just looks handsome and inviting as sin. And was on Paige's Thursday Thirteen blog. Thank you, Paige.
For the Kougar this was a day of participating on the Siren-BookStrand loop and on Sierra Dafoe's Yahoo chat group for awhile. Sierra is very gracious and had all sorts of great contests going on for authors and readers. Not to mention she's a fab author.
It is also a day for continuing THE SPECIAL SECRET PROJECT. Does SS actually stand for SuperSlut, the new SuperHeroine in town?
Never mind, forget that, my darling kitkats.
Quiet reigns here on the nighttime tame prairie. The moon is rising, a gorgeous and glorious silver white quarter moon. And earlier the skies were a beautiful true blue with slowly scudding clouds.
Ah...reviews. Yowl and howl, my Lovely Big Cats...the Kougar is not faring well at the hands of Just Erotic Romance Reviews. And only earned three tombstones from Bitten by Books. The Kougaress has a theory why, which she will not yowl, since it would be considered merely her own sour grapes. However, moi will thank Lyda at Bitten by Books for her honest review.
If the Kougar may, and she will, since this is her personal blog...you may now cease reading...if introspection is not your 'thing'...in truth, moi is proud of her books, her book babies as they enter the world of the published. Very proud. And feels they should be recognized along with the books of other good authors. Nothing new you mew. Quite true.
Isn't that true of every author?
One would have to pad in the Kougar's footprints to understand the depth of why she is proud. Suffice it to purr, it's been a tremendously long and tough journey, with marathons yet to go.
Okay, enough. The Kougar Kat did not plan on this rumbling rambling...
On Title Magic today Mai wrote an inspiring blog about re-evaluating goals at this time of the year. Moi will not publish her comments.

Eight smoochies from the Kougar...
