Barr confirmed during a congressional hearing Wednesday that the Obama administration “conducted unauthorized surveillance” against Trump’s campaign leading up to the 2016 election, and that he assembled a team to investigate all the aspects of the FBI’s counterintelligence operation against Trump and Mueller’s Russia probe.
“I think spying did occur,” Barr said. “But the question is whether it was adequately predicated and I am not suggesting that it wasn’t adequately predicated…I am not suggesting those rules were violated, but I think it is important to look at that. And I am not talking about the FBI necessarily, but intelligence agencies more broadly.”

In every country in the western world, there is layer after layer of rules and regulations that strictly govern just about every area of our lives. But until just recently, there were certain lines that still had not been crossed. One of those lines has to do with bodily integrity. We have a fundamental right to say what goes into our bodies and what doesn’t go into our bodies. When any government violates that fundamental right, no matter how good the intentions are, they have entered the realm of tyranny.
And let there be no doubt – what is taking place in New York City right now is tyranny. On Tuesday, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio used the pretense of “a public health emergency” to order mandatory vaccinations for all of the Orthodox Jews living in Williamsburg…

But if the control freaks that run New York City can get away with this, they will set a very important national precedent.
You may think that you live in an area where your health freedoms are more protected, but what starts in New York or California always seems to start filtering through the rest of the country eventually.

Researchers Killing Airborne Viruses With Electricity
Dangerous airborne viruses are rendered harmless on-the-fly when exposed to energetic, charged fragments of air molecules, University of Michigan researchers have shown.
They hope to one day harness this capability to replace a century-old device: the surgical mask.
The U-M engineers have measured the virus-killing speed and effectiveness of nonthermal plasmas–the ionized, or charged, particles that form around electrical discharges such as sparks. A nonthermal plasma reactor was able to inactivate or remove from the airstream 99.9% of a test virus, with the vast majority due to inactivation.
Achieving these results in a fraction of a second within a stream of air holds promise for many applications where sterile air supplies are needed.
“The most difficult disease transmission route to guard against is airborne because we have relatively little to protect us when we breathe,” said Herek Clack, U-M research associate professor of civil and environmental engineering.

To gauge nonthermal plasmas’ effectiveness, researchers pumped a model virus–harmless to humans–into flowing air as it entered a reactor. Inside the reactor, borosilicate glass beads are packed into a cylindrical shape, or bed. The viruses in the air flow through the spaces between the beads, and that’s where they are inactivated.
“In those void spaces, you’re initiating sparks,” Clack said. “By passing through the packed bed, pathogens in the air stream are oxidized by unstable atoms called radicals. What’s left is a virus that has diminished ability to infect cells.”
The experiment and its results are published in the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics.
Notably, during these tests researchers also tracked the amount of viral genome that was present in the air. In this way, Clack and his team were able to determine that more than 99% of the air sterilizing effect was due to inactivating the virus that was present, with the remainder of the effect due to filtering the virus from the air stream.
“The results tell us that nonthermal plasma treatment is very effective at inactivating airborne viruses,” said Krista Wigginton, assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering. “There are limited technologies for air disinfection, so this is an important finding.”
This parallel approach–combining filtration and inactivation of airborne pathogens–could provide a more efficient way of providing sterile air than technologies used today, such as filtration and ultraviolet light. Traditional masks operate using only filtration for protection.
Ultraviolet irradiation can’t sterilize as quickly, as throughly or as compactly has nonthermal plasma.
Clack and his research team have begun testing their reactor on ventilation air streams at a livestock farm near Ann Arbor. Animal agriculture and its vulnerability to contagious livestock diseases such as avian influenza has a demonstrated near-term need for such technologies.

Conservative activist Candace Owens tore into Democrat Rep. Ted Lieu (Calif.) for falsely pushing the narrative she supports Adolf Hitler by playing an out-of-context clip during her testimony before the House Judiciary Committee.
“I think it’s pretty apparent that Mr. Lieu believes that black people are stupid and will not pursue the full clip in its entirety,” Owens told the committee Tuesday.
“He purposely presented an extracted clip…That was unbelievably dishonest and he did not allow me to respond to it which is worrisome, and should tell you a lot about where people are today in terms of trying to drum up narratives.”

The Judiciary Committee’s website explained that the hearing would be about what Big Tech’s role should be in the future to address “white nationalist propaganda and hate speech.”
This hearing will examine hate crimes, the impact white nationalist groups have on American communities and the spread of white identity ideology,” the committee’s website states. “The hearing will also foster ideas about what social media companies can do to stem white nationalist propaganda and hate speech online.”

Border Patrol Official Drops Shocking Statistic On Nationalities Of Illegals Crossing Border

There really is a crisis at the border.
At least if you listen to Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Sector Chief Patrol Agent Rodolfo Karisch, who is, after all, a bit of an expert.
At a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on Tuesday, Karisch dropped a ton of data and statistics, but none was more eye-popping than this.
Karisch said that in his sector alone, border agents have captured people trying to enter the country illegally from more than 50 different countries, including Turkey, China, Bangladesh, Egypt and Romania. “People are traveling across hemispheres to attempt to illegally enter the U.S., using the same pathways as the Central Americans,” he told lawmakers.
While Democrats claim President Trump is making up a fake crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border — and some presidential candidates, like former Texas Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Roarke, want to do away with all border barriers — Karisch said the influx of illegals is reaching epic proportions.
“Much media attention has focused on caravans coming across from Central America,” Karisch said. “But the fact is that RGV is receiving caravan-equivalent numbers every seven days.”
“Karisch noted that Border Patrol has apprehended more families illegally crossing the border in the first five months of fiscal 2019 than during all of fiscal 2018,” Fox News reported. “Customs and Border Protection (CBP) apprehended more than 76,000 migrants across the border in February and said it was on track to apprehend more than 100,000 in March. In the Rio Grande Valley alone, Karisch said that at current pace, they would have more than 260,000 apprehensions in his sector by the end of fiscal 2019. There were 162,000 in RGV last year. He also said that his agents apprehend, on average, 1,000 people a day.”

While partisan politicians who know nothing about the border claim Trump is playing politics, those in the know are repeatedly sounding the alarm that things are getting dire there. Last week, former Border Patrol Chief Mark Morgan, who served in the post during former president Barack Obama’s time in the White House, told lawmakers that the crisis is “at a magnitude never seen in modern times” as he urged them to end the U.S.’s “open border policy.”
“We’re experiencing a crisis at the southern border at a magnitude never seen in modern times, it’s unprecedented,” Morgan told the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
Trump in February declared a national emergency and has threatened to shut down the entire U.S.-Mexico border. “If we don’t make a deal with Congress…or if Mexico doesn’t do what they should be doing…then we’re going to close the border, that’s going to be it, or we’re going to close large sections of the border, maybe not all of it,” he said in the Oval Office last week. He later gave Mexico a reprieve, saying officials there will have one year to shape up.
The president has been purging Homeland Security officials in an effort to get “tougher.” Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen resigned Sunday (some say she was ousted) and Secret Service Director Randolph Alles was booted out on Monday. On Friday, the White House pulled its nominee for director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Ronald Vitiello, with Trump again saying he wanted to go in a “tougher direction.”
More heads are expected to roll soon, news agencies report.
Trump, asked Tuesday if he was “cleaning house,” said: “I never said I’m ‘cleaning house.’ I don’t know who came up with that expression.”
“We’re bucking really bad things with Congress — with the Democrats in Congress not willing to act. They want to have open borders, which means they want to have crime; they want to have drugs pouring into our country. They don’t want to act. We have to close up the borders. We’re doing it, but we’re doing it — I could do it much faster if they would act,” he said. “So it’s a terrible thing. The Democrats in Congress — what they’re doing and the obstruction — they don’t want to fix it. And we have to fix it. They want open borders. They want to have millions of people pouring into our country. They don’t even want to know who they are.”
