So, what is the Kougaress most grateful for right now? Beyond her family, friends and pets... beyond the tame prairie and whatever good food can still be found? She is grateful for everyone who stands and lives for freedom -- past, present, future. She is grateful for every good deed done -- past, present, future. She is grateful for the truth and whoever brings forth the truth -- past, present, future. She is also grateful for beauty in all its forms.

A Soul Rising Thanksgiving ... despite the stampeding rush for Black Friday deals and Cyber Monday savings... this year, the soul is rising as never before... it won’t be about the typical gratitude list. No, many of us will become aware of ourselves as higher beings. We will have insights into our larger potential, and this will ultimately have good consequences for us all.

If you search your dreams from childhood, those shining dreams of what you wanted to be, and do... there lies the kernel, the seed of you as greater than you ever believed you could be. That is, believed as opposed to imagined. Since imagination can take flight beyond the stars of possibility... the stars that will eventually become possible to humanity.

Date Night

A little silliness inspired by a random-act-of-conversation with my teenage son and by my cousin's reaction to seeing this movie. The other night while listening to two DJs argue on the radio about what kind of people watch the Twilight movies, my darling son had what I call a 'flight of fancy'. If the word 'vegan-pire' gets stuck in your head, blame him, not me. Not only can I NOT take credit for the startling detour in logic that created the term, it's now stuck in my head, too.
