The single Black Lives Matter protester was drowned out by the National Anthem
During a Back the Blue rally in downtown Wichita, Kansas, hundreds of police supporters erupted in song as a single Black Lives Matter protester attempted to derail the event by chanting across the street, in a display that quickly saw the Black Lives Matter protester disappear into an office building.
As the City of Wichita leadership met with the leaders of Project Justice ICT, a local Black Lives Matter-affiliated organization that is demanding police be defunded, supporters of police gathered in downtown Wichita to make the counter argument that police should be funded and supported.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., the event featured speakers including several candidates running for elected office in Kansas, including Susan Estes, the wife of U.S. House Rep. Ron Estes (R-KS).
After the event’s speakers concluded, a small group of Black Lives Matter protesters began loudly chanting from across the street, prompting opposing chants of “Back the Blue” and “All Lives Matter.”
As the protester continued chanting, the opposing crowd began singing the Star Spangled Banner in an apparent bid to silence the protester. Within moments, the majority of the crowd joined in singing the anthem.
When the melody concluded, applause erupted, and the Black Lives Matter protester was no longer chanting or visible, apparently having returned to an office building.
Calls to defund the police continue to gain mainstream attention across the country, even as large cities that have experimented with defunding their police are experiencing skyrocketing crime rates.
In New York, where plainclothes police were recently defunded, community leaders are now calling for the officers return due to the lack of safety in previously peaceful neighborhoods.

Comcast and its subsidiary Xfinity has banned Republican Congressional candidate Laura Loomer from sending out texts and emails to voters in what appears to be yet another example of Big Tech election meddling.
“See video. Wow. @Xfinity/@comcast has BANNED Republican front-runner Laura Loomer from sending texts & emails to voters. This is next-level censorship,” tweeted Fox News host Pete Hegseth.
“When she wins the @gop primary on Tuesday, will the Republican Party fight for her? They’d better!”
In the video, Loomer explains how Comcast/Xfinity how Comcast in Palm Beach County has banned her campaign from sending out communications to voters by labeling them “dangerous content” and not delivering the messages.

Loomer also cites tweets from Comcast “publicly thanking” her Democratic opponent Lois Frankel, suggesting the ban is a clear example of election interference.
“Congresswoman Lois Frankel is only one of thirty one members of Congress who owns Comcast stock, so this is clear blatant election interference,” states Loomer, noting that censorship has now moved from social media networks to Internet Service Providers and telecommunications companies.
Loomer warns that the same ban could now be enforced on other Republican candidates ahead of the 2020 elections.
The Congressional candidate, who has vastly outperformed her rivals by raising more than $1.1million for her campaign, is the clear frontrunner for the GOP nomination although she faces a big task to win a Congressional seat in Florida that has voted Democrat since 2013.

The father of Kamala Harris detailed how their ancestors owned slaves, an inconvenient part of her history as she has spent much of her campaign focusing on race politics.
The Democrats have been up in arms about an NBC News report that detailed how Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s great-great-grandfathers owned slaves in Alabama in the 1800s.Donald Harris, a Stanford University economics professor and father of 2020 Democrat candidate, wrote about how they are descendant of an Irishman who owned a slave plantation in Jamaica in a piece titled “Reflections of a Jamaican Father.”
“My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown, descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town),” Mr. Harris wrote in his article for Jamaica Global.
The Free Beacon reports that “a research archive of Jamaican records indicate that at one point in 1817, Hamilton Brown owned scores of slaves. The majority were brought in from Africa, though he also owned many Creole slaves.”
Harris has been pushing for “some form of reparations for black people,” saying that “we have to be honest that people in this country do not start from the same place or have access to the same opportunities.” Apparently, she should be looking into the history of her own family.
McConnell has responded to the reports about his ancestors by pointing out that the family of former President Barack Obama also owned slaves.
“You know, I find myself once again in the same position as President Obama,” McConnell said. “We both oppose reparations, and we both are the descendants of slaveholders.”
