The freedom to dress beautifully...

Once upon a time... a very long time ago, the Kougaress went to a well-known psychic in her area by the name of Carol Dawn. One of the first things she said was that she saw the Kougaress as a Viking woman... past life? Lineage? Yes, it's true... this Big Cat's ancestors do trace back to a Viking heritage, in part. So tonight's costume party is purr-fect ~ Come As Your Favorite Ancestor.

A too-chilly, sunny day on the tame prairie today... everything is such a rush these days, and as the Kougaress has yowled before she feels pulled in a thousand different directions. Yeee-oooows!

The freedom to dress beautifully... the Kougaress has always had two sides to her nature. Her tomboy/tomcub side only cares about wearing functional clothing, and her appearance isn’t all that big a deal to her. This side of her does NOT want to be forced to dress in a certain way as in always having to look GIRLY or seductive, or otherwise appropriate according to social dictates. Then, her middle name becomes REBEL.

HOWEVER, and it’s a big however, her fairy princess side loves to dress up beautifully -- OR fashionably according to her sense of fashion. This side of her adores creating and wearing fantasy costumes. This side of her adores wearing certain GIRLY and SEXY looking clothes.

So, it was suddenly ‘insight’ time today. Wouldn’t it be soul-fabulous if you had the freedom to wear or ‘not’ to wear whatever you want?

Right now, a certain element of society ‘forces’ women to a standard of beauty that really is totally insane and a destructive model for girls since so much of it is ‘look like a porno queen’. While this is fine for women who truly enjoy this look, why should it be held up as an ideal?

The same goes for the so-called modesty approach. Why should women be forced to dress in someone else’s idea of what is ‘modest’? Really, it’s two sides of the same coin.

Okay, a bit off track here, Kittens. In these times affording beautiful clothing is tougher to manage for some of us. This is a direct offshoot of our ability to earn a living, which has been stolen from us by the global mafia banksters.

Just like the ‘freedom to pursue happiness’, shouldn’t we have the freedom to dress beautifully... at our choice, at our whim?

What would that feel like? The freedom to dress beautifully whenever we want as an individual choice?

I bet the peasants and the slaves from other times in history would have loved to know what it felt like to wear the beautiful garments of their choice... to know what if felt like to dress beautifully.

As well, I bet some of the rich would have loved to know what it felt like to be ‘free’ of always having to dress in society’s idea of beautiful garments.
