Wolf Moonrise

Hey, Big Kittens, isn’t this a lovely title for a sizzle romance novel? Now, all the Kougar has to do is actually have time to create said novel.
Introducing MURDER BY HAIR SPRAY IN GARDENIA, NEW ATLANTIS - now available from Siren-BookStrand ~ to the readers via promo has been fatiguing and time-devouring, albeit fun to live in that futuristic world with Sheriff Kalypso and Agent Zryphus.
Meoowww...moi hopes to continue writing chapter ten of HER INSATIABLE DARK HEROES ~ also coming from Siren-BookStrand ~ later on tonight.
A huge roar of congrats to Helen Scott Taylor. Her ATIV winning entry, THE MAGIC KNOT is being released from Dorchester within a few days. Grab your copy, KitKats. The two excerpts the Kougar read were outstanding.

A personal warning, my Big Beautiful Cats, from the Kougar...Hang onto your tails, your hats, your fur...even your nose...and any possession you can nail down. The economic storm and other storms are brewing on the world stage and will hit like tornado after tornado. Yowl...keep in mind the Wizard of Oz...with Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Lion and the Scarecrow...and Toto, too. Most important, remember the man behind the curtain...
Oh yeah, the bad witch melted...don’t let anyone steal your bucket of water, no matter what!
~~~~~~
The above pic was featured on Coast-to-Coast am...a few days after the Wolf Full Moon ~
The full "Wolf" Moon rising above the snow covered California Sierra Nevada Mountains is always awesome, but the addition of the simultaneous brilliant red sunset reflecting off the snow, rocks, and trees was a bonus. This is the perigee Moon on Saturday, 10 January, 2009 and was the biggest full Moon for 2009. The photo was taken on Hwy 88's Bear River Scenic Overlook in Amador County, California. Moon rise was just south of Lake Tahoe from this 7,500 foot vantage point. What a view it was! Camera: Canon 40D with Canon 100-400L IS @400mm focal length.
Happy New Year... on another Earth
Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~
Part 22 ~
Sylva sparkled as if New Year’s day fireworks soared inside her. Deciding she would live for today, she lifted her hips a bit as his work-rough hands smoothed down her pantyhose, gliding down her skin in a way that had her ready to swoon. “You didn’t answer, Zeke,” she provoked, astounded by how sultry her voice sounded. Deliberately he stroked down her shin, his pleasure obvious. “I don’t want your eyebrows singed yet, darlin’. That’s for later. I want you smoky and silky beneath me.” With seductive care, he slipped her feet free of the pantyhose, his hands relishing her arches.
Zeke caressed her little soft toes, letting his fingertips linger before stroking them away. “Oooh, a man with answers,” she crooned, her shoulder rolling forward, teasing his eye. Standing, he unbuckled his gun belt and hung it within easy reach. Not wanting to make her shy away from him, he unbuttoned and slid off his vest, then sat beside her on the lounge. His cock ached a protest, fighting against his pants. Gently capturing the side of her face, he brushed his thumb over her flushed cheek. “What an impudent nose you have, my beautiful Sylva. Should I kiss it?”
Presented for your sizzling entertainment, the revised love/passion scene...the one moi used as her American Title IV entry ~
*IT* Happened One Night...
Excerpt #3 ~ from MURDER BY HAIR SPRAY IN GARDENIA, NEW ATLANTIS
“Good excuse as I’ve ever heard...Agent.” Kalypso turned to him. “You can unfurrow your over-sized brow. I’m not accepting his sperm, lab or otherwise. Although, it’s none of your damn business. Really.”
“Over-sized?” Zryphus gazed down at her, his eyes implacable and smoky, except for what Kalypso labeled the puppy look.
“Oh, for gawd’s sake And men think women are over-sensitive. Not that we aren’t at times. But the shoe fits on both feet. Oh, never mind. That didn’t come out right. I just meant large, as in bigger than most males I know. Not un-handsome.” She took a breather. He still gazed down at her. “I didn’t talk about your over-sized organ ” she pointed out.
“Organ?”
“Cock. Phallus. Whatever you call it in your language. Wouldn’t that bruise your ego more than a ‘brow’?”
“You haven’t done me the honor of looking upon it, yet, gorgeous. How would you know if it’s over-sized?” He’d softened his tone to southern gentleman, surprising Kalypso and unnerving her a bit.
“Seemed pretty monstrous when it was pokin’ up before,” Kalypso defended, knowing she swam in shark-infested waters with this ridiculous exchange. Him being the biggest shark of all. Maybe he was the biggest shark she’d ever known. She squeezed her eyelids, wanting to shut out her own thoughts. She waited, feeling the inward-outward rush of her breath as if that’s all she could feel.
“Let’s test it out,” he whispered, “I’ll let you feel it.” He grasped her elbow, all of a sudden propelling her somewhere. “You can decide if it’s over-sized.” His dark rasp close to her ear, tormented her senses, taunted her loins, and ignited her to liquid fire. And made her ability to think turn into corn mush. She only knew they moved into a private darkened area of The Castle where lovers went, an area of hidden alcoves, designed for passionate trysts.
‘No,’ she tried to speak. The word refused to pass her lips.
He thrust her against stone, the smooth, warm stone wall of an alcove. His huge hard body braced against hers, he held her captive. His lips seized her lips, his fierce kiss conquering her mouth before she could fight him.
His kisses conquered her senses, and spun her desire out of control. She kissed him almost as boldly, her arms winding around his neck, her breasts flattening against his chest.
He played her lips, the Viking virtuoso, and she desperately adored it. She kissed him as heathen-relentlessly. Not wanting to be anywhere else. Only against him.
Him.
Damn Damn The word ran through her soul like a chased rabbit.
She was in mucho big trouble. Big nova-type trouble. That didn’t stop her. It certainly didn’t stop him.
When he slid his large powerful hands up her thighs, beneath her dress, she did nothing but sigh like a willing vixen against his mouth. She did nothing but furiously play her lips against his, insatiable for him.
She let him caress her, boldly caress her thighs.
Maybe it was enough that he knew how to stroke her, and claim her with long god-demanding caresses. Maybe it was their passion, and the ruthless desire of his kisses to hers, that she couldn’t refuse. Maybe it was how good he smelled. All-powerful male, potent as rich smoking tobacco.
Somewhere—in the very back of her mind—a teensy voice begged and warned, telling her everyone knew. Gardenia would know, did know. That didn’t stop her.
And somewhere, she knew he was doing exactly what he wanted to do with her, and do to her. That didn’t stop her.
Exquisitely, she burned.
With excruciating heat, her loins blazed, wanting him. Her wetness flowed, sweltering on the inside of her thighs.
His hand stroked between her thighs, all powerful. Gradually he stroked upwards, a delicious wild torment.
Claiming her mouth with steamy forceful kisses, he caressed the juncture of her thigh.
She tensed, believing he would just grab between her thighs, and crudely try to excite her.
His caresses didn’t halt, and his seductive rhythm continued.
She moaned into their ferocious clinging kiss. Arching, she pressed her breasts against his chest even more. His strength to her softness, exciting her fiercely.
She whimpered against his mouth as he caressed her sex mound, as he claimed, gently claimed. He held her mound completely with his palm. His hand was so large, she kitten-moaned.
Owning no illusion, she knew he claimed her, as a man claimed a woman he knew belonged to him. That didn’t stop her. She burned impossibly hot.
Tenderly, insistently he caressed her mound. His kiss savagely pressed on her lips. When she slightly rocked her hips toward his hand, he gently shoved his finger inside her sex lips. Kalypso stilled, wild with pleasure and wild with shock. His finger slid over the juicy length of her clit, shivering her within. She didn’t deny him. She couldn’t. He groaned against her mouth. A man’s want, so brutally passionate she shivered inside again. And couldn’t deny herself what he was about to do to her.
Even if it had been ages...and ages. And everything she had fought for, victoriously fought for, was about to be lost. To him. To these moments between them.
His finger rubbed tenderly, masterfully over her swollen clit. When he lifted her off her feet, her thighs seized by his powerful huge hands, she was helpless, and helpless with her own need as he parted her thighs...just enough. He fused his mouth to hers, scorching her lips all the way to heaven. He thrust it, his cock between the length of her inner thighs. So she felt him, the towering potency of his manhood, fully between her slickened thighs. The immense shape of it tightly pressed by the flesh of her thighs, was different, and more defined. She shuddered to her core with shock and an ache to mate. Goddess, she ached while her sex dripped with juiciness.
Part 21 ~
Sylva jerked her hand back as if she’d touched a hot stove. Only it was the scorch of their passion. Amazed, she watched him skillfully unstrap her high heels, his fingertips brushing a brand through her hose as he slipped them off each foot. “How hot are you, cowboy?” she crooned, utterly unlike herself. *Husband* ~ it rang through her mind until he looked up, his silvery eyes beaming intensely. “Zeke,” he hoarsely prompted. “Hot enough to singe your eyebrows with one kiss.” His small grin lit up his eyes, his hand slowly stroking up her leg. “Is that so, Zeke?”
Zeke circled caresses on her upper thigh, long and beautifully full beneath his palm. Her eyes glittered a dare, yet he also witnessed her filly-skittishness. Gradually leaning forward, he placed a kiss above her knee. One kiss at a time he moved upwards, fondling the generous curve of her thigh, then her luscious hip. Her soft yielding moan encouraged him, and he slid his palm up her other thigh, pressing kisses until he met the stiff fabric of her skirt. He embraced her haunches, stroked, then grazed his fingertips over waistband of her strange hose. “Take them off,” she murmured.
Murder by Hair Spray in Gardenia, New Atlantis ~ The Rising...
Another amazing synchronicity, my Big Beautiful Cats, today the late afternoon sky on the tame prairie was eerily similar to the sky Jinger Heaston created for the cover art of the Kougar’s newest release at Siren-BookStrand...her ATIV baby...MURDER BY HAIR SPRAY IN GARDENIA, NEW ATLANTIS...
The legend and the future of Atlantis continues to live and magically thrive within the moi’s imagination. Kalypso and Zryphus continue to live their love story in moi’s heart and in Book II of the New Atlantis series.
Originally, this story was supposed to be a novella ~ three erotic, then fall-in-love-and-in-passion days at Gardenia’s only hotel ~ between Sheriff Kalypso and Zryphus, the Zerculeon Agent from the Federal Union, while they catch the Hair Spray Killer. But nope, the story swiftly spiraled completely out of control, becoming epic in scope.
However, what are the Kougar’s fave scenes ~ besides the erotic romance scenes where IT takes charge ~ why, it’s the *battle of the sexes*, the verbal sparring between Kalypso and Zryphus.
Hey, Kalypso has had one hundred years to despise the way human males behave in relationships. Zryphus has had a lifetime of wanting and searching for his one woman. She’s not about to give in. He’s not about to give up. What they do agree on, is the immediate capture of the Hair Spray Killer.
~~~~~~

Blurb:

Sheriff Kalypso Sun Wing, 100 years old in the year 2051, never knew why she survived the cataclysmic land changes. Or the Conflicts when she battled for freedom beside those who shouted ‘Don’t Tread on Me’. Until the rising of Atlantis, and she began New Atlantis with a group of rebels.
Zerculeon, Zryphus Vasquoz chose an enforcement career with Earth’s Federal Union for several reasons–his fascination with primitive worlds, to make his own way outside the family heritage, and to keep official watch for his own Worlds.
Once he gets an eyeful of the Sheriff, as they investigate the Hair Spray serial murder, Zryphus knows he’s found the woman he wants to marry. Despite her cold disinterest.
When the Hair Spray Killer stalks Kalypso, Zryphus won’t let her out of his sight, or his bed.

Excerpt: Kalypso and Zryphus meet ~

“Sheriff.” The man’s voice commanded first, and announced his presence second. “Sheriff Kalypso Sun Wing.”
“Yeah, that’s me.” Turning, Kalypso’s gaze gave no quarter, hard as diamonds on the outsider. “Agent...?”
Dang it to hang, he was a tall and broad drink of water. She’d expected the usual tight-ass wimp, with grim lips and eyes that were mirrors, reflecting nothing but the orders they’d been given. No, this man burned with sheer vitality. His gaze assessed, a damn force of nature. She’d bet if she struck a match and tossed it toward his eyes, they would sizzle like her birthday candles, then explode at his will. Yep, he was definitely a whole load of nano dynamite, unlit.
“Agent Zryphus Dolen Vasquoz,” he answered. “Give me your evidence retrieval. I’ll take over from here.”
Audible gasps burst from Anna and Dr. Victoria at the man’s patriarchal and patronizing tone.
“No, you won’t, Agent Vasquoz. You’re here at my invitation. Only. You follow my rules or you don’t get to play ‘Find the Hair Spray Killer’. Do you understand?”
“Wowzi Powzie,” Deputy Anna whispered, watching her vid screen light up with the sparks flying between the Sheriff and the outsider Agent.
“It’s a Federal Union case, Sheriff. I have priority investigation.” The Agent’s gravelly deep voice filled the entire room.
“You have nothing, Agent. Unless I say so. You can turn around, hit the portal. Or you can cooperate. You’ll have full access. Anna will give you all she’s retrieved so far. If you want, I’ll even act friendly, let you ‘analyze’ this bag more closely.” Sheriff Kalypso approached, a lioness with no fear. “I’ll even sweeten the pot, Agent Vasquoz—let you do a quick exam of the body before we save the fetus. As they used to say, deal or no deal?”
“Whirlwind in the room,” Deputy Anna whispered to Victoria, who still watched her vid screen.
“Deal. For now, Sheriff.” Focusing his gaze like a cannon laser, the Agent straightened his over-large shoulders, his latent power obvious.
“Pull anything against my authority, Agent Vasquoz, and I guarantee you won’t like the results. Deputy, feed your vid evidence to the Agent’s data base, will you, please?”
Once Anna stood, he handed his data vid to her without looking. His gaze relentless, Agent Vasquez followed the Sheriff’s arm wave to the corpse. Moving easily in the small confines of the room, despite his size, he knelt with deliberate care, scrutinizing every detail of the body.
Sheriff Kalypso couldn’t deny his concentration was impressive. She watched him turn the victim over with gentle precision.
Awed, her heart tripping rapidly, Sheriff Kalypso moved closer. “Even her face resembles Jackie O.”
“How do you know?” Agent Vasquoz demanded, not looking up.
“I was born in 1951. Check out your history data base, Agent.”
“Call me Zryphus.”
~~~~~~
Excerpt Two:
“How many victims so far?”
“Twelve. If this proves out, it will be unlucky thirteen. Or lucky thirteen. I have a feeling you’re a very persistent woman.”
“Truth, justice. That’s our way here, Zryphus. Play it that way, we’ll get along. Once Deputy Anna finishes scanning, you can take her data, or follow in her footsteps, and get your own.” She eyed him, wondering if he was a wolf dressed in wolf’s clothing, as he appeared. There was no pretense of wearing sheep’s clothing that she observed. “Do you usually work alone?”
“Back up team for forensics, investigation. Yes, I work alone. No partner. You’re the exception, Kalypso. Let’s investigate the contents of her handbag together.”
“From what I can tell. the makeup and lipstick cases look like replicas of the early sixties era. We have lab verification and analysis, if you want use of it.”
“Let’s see what we’ve got first.” Agent Zryphus carefully dumped out the handbag’s contents. After scanning each item, he professionally murmured, “Just her prints and bio cells. Take a look at the lipstick. Is it the color she’s wearing?”
“Wouldn’t your scan data verify that?”
“Wrongly phrased. You’re the period expert. I wanted your impression of how real the lipstick and the makeup itself are to your recollection.”
Sheriff Kalypso uncapped the lipstick. “It’s been ages, but it looks real. Smells real. Not the same color she’s wearing.”
“The color of lipstick has been the same on each victim. Never found a container.”
“How could you tell on the burned victims?”
“Enough residue remained for holo reconstruction. Take a look inside the other cases,” he suggested.
“Why the nice treatment, Zryphus? I was dirt under your shoes when you first arrived.” Sheriff Kalypso did some burning of her own while she picked up the mascara wand. “Black, black. Just like I remember.”
“Sheriff,” Deputy Anna called out, “finished the personal item scan. Got the body ready for transport. We’re on our way. I’ll leave the door open. Keep airing the room out.”
“Thanks, Anna. You know where I am.” Kalypso picked up a compact case, solid rich elegance in design. Opening it, she studied the pasty heavy covering. “Looks real. But I never used this stuff. Couldn’t stand it. I used the sheer version they came out with, when I used makeup. Except when I acted in college theater. We used the heavy stuff because of the lighting. You haven’t answered my question, Zryphus.”
“Bluntly, Kalypso...I want you in my bed.”
Placing the compact case down delicately, Kalypso absorbed the shock. “No, I don’t think so,” she slowly enunciated each word.
“Do you have a lover?” Zryphys handed her the powder case.
“None of your business, as they used to say. Looks real. Mind if I test it with my finger?”
“Please. You don’t have a lover. Neither do I.”
“Probably because you’re married or in a committed partnership. Or you just ended an affair. Something like that. No ” Kalypso shifted gears. “Feels real, smells real. Are you aware of a company, or maybe a small business, that creates these replica products?”
“Three, to be exact. I can’t tell where these originated. I’m a one woman man, Kalypso. You’d have all my attention.”
“No thanks. I politely decline. Eyelash curler. Never used one. They always looked so barbaric. Hmmm, brow tweezers. Unfortunately, I tried this a few times. Way too painful.”
“I’ll convince you. What’s this?”
“Eyebrow darkening powder. No, you won’t. I don’t like men when it comes to relationship crap. Perhaps you don’t know much about our social structure here. Women rule.”
“I dominate in bed. In our passionate relationship.”
Sylva sweltered inside, a blaze of wantoness claiming her...despite her fear...as his hand possessed the back of her head. His following words fanned her fire, making her feel wildly naughty. “I only hope you do care about my pleasure,” she whispered, recalling the horrific times when that hadn’t happened. “Always,” he murmured. He sealed her mouth with his, swooping her upwards at the same time. Desperate for more of the way he kissed her, Sylva looped her arms tightly around his neck, feeling the brush of suede and the delicious tickle of his hair. God, he was strong.
Zeke ravenously kissed her willing mouth, carrying her to his bed. He’d made certain, a day ago, everything would be ready for his bride. Entering the large, lavishly furnished room, he laid her on the wine-red velvet lounge beside their enormous bed. Nuzzling a kiss on her lips, he straightened and quickly tossed off his hat, then shed his jacket. Bewitched by her, he sat down on his chair pulling off his boots, his gaze trained on her like a hawk. When she reached down to remove her shoe, he stayed her hand. “Let me, Sylva. I am your husband.”
The Rising of New Atlantis
The cover art for MURDER BY HAIR SPRAY IN GARDENIA, NEW ATLANTIS has risen, thanks to the talent of Jinger Heaston...and the Kougar is so in love...wiggle, roll and scriggle on the carpet...while smiling like a foolish cat girl with an eye for a bad boy tomcat...
But purr-seriously, New Atlantis rises, a glorious new land, in Jinger Heaston’s cover art creation. This is the first glimpse of the Kougar’s story about the future on 2051 Earth. Also, this is the first glimpse of Kalypso and Zryphus, who save the future of New Atlantis, all while battling the Hair Spray Killer, and battling each other over love and passion.
After all IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT for Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert.
IT HAPPENS ONE NIGHT for Zryphus and Kalypso, too.
Note: *IT* is particularly large and dominating.
Atlantis...it’s not just a legend anymore...
Sheriff Kalypso Sun Wing, 100 years old in the year 2051, never knew why she survived the cataclysmic land changes. Or the Conflicts when she battled for freedom beside those who shouted ‘Don’t Tread on Me’. Until the rising of Atlantis, and she began New Atlantis with a group of rebels.
Part 19 ~
Sylva trembled involuntarily. “And if I’m from another world, why are you speaking English?” He grinned for a breath, his gaze searing into hers. “Parallel worlds, as we figure it here.” He leaned forward, his fingertips grazing over her cheek before he slid his hand through her hair. “Oh...SUV, it’s a type of vehicle.” Damn, were her lungs racing breaths against each other? “You were in its path?” he asked, a low deep whisper that tingled her earlobe. “Yes.” She’d leaned closer without knowing it. “Then you were in my path.” His tone seductively teased her senses. Sylva whimpered.
Zeke darkened with lust at her whimper. Drawing in the fragrances clinging to her skin, and to her chestnut golden hair, he palmed her shoulder gently. They would have to learn about each other later. Even his gratitude for her arrival was reined up short. He skimmed his hand toward her neck, the feel of her shoulder causing a groan to escape against her ear. “Sylva, don’t be afraid,” he encouraged. “I swear your bride’s pleasure will come first.” A hitch interrupted her little gasps. “Bride? What does that mean...here?” Zeke cupped her head. “You’re about to find out.”
Kiss to Jinger Heaston from the Kougar...
Monday on four hours...
Monday on four hours sleep, that was the Kougar’s, heavy-lifting included, shopping trip today, my Big Beautiful Cats...and the eyelids drop down like curtains that want to stay shut...meow-apologies for the poor analogy. This is the Kougar’s brain on sleep deprivation.
And this is a pic of an ice storm featured on Coast-to-Coast am ~ which is splendid in it’s prism-coated loveliness...however, what jolted the Kougaress yesterday is the name, Wendy. Because that’s the name of moi’s heroine in ~ Her Insatiable Dark Heroes ~ coming from Siren-BookStrand. And with synchronicity an increasing reality in this Big KitKat’s life, she was claw-penning the name as she saw it beneath the photo.
Total tail-flicking cool and icy pic cool...
These are real photos of the severe ice storm we had in New Hampshire (and surrounding states) in December 08. As you can see, the ice was very thick even though the morning after the storm was sunny. Almost other-worldly! Many residents were without power for up to three weeks!
Part 18 ~
Sylva’s heart flipped to a stop. “I don’t understand.” The next second her heart thumped furiously. Sexy didn’t describe him. All-male, smells like a cowboy...yes, I want to be roped by you...described him...with pale gray eyes, silver meets crystal. “You were brought here, Sylva. Sent through what is called the sacred portal. My gift.” She shook her head in disbelief. “Now I really don’t understand.” Lifting her muddy hand, he held it beneath the warm running water. “There aren’t many women around these parts. Occasionally, a woman arrives from a similar world. What do you remember last?”
Zeke thoroughly rinsed her ivory-colored hand, tenderly handling her dainty fingers. Delicate golden freckles covered the top, traveling up her forearm, and fading away on her upper arm. Lordy keep him sane. He could feast on the feminine beauty of her shoulders forever. Wrapping her hand in a small towel, he pressed away the moisture. “I remember.” She halted, furrowing her brow. “I dodged an SUV. Saw a circular flash of light. Leapt, and landed in a mud puddle.” She blinked, absorbing the shock of her situation. “SUV?” he asked. Raising her brows, she returned, “Flying cars parked on rooftops?”
The Blue Funk Full Moon, my Big Lovely KitKats...that’s what it should be called instead of the Wolf Moon...at least, by all the authors the Kougar knows who are down and experiencing the blue doldrums.
Definitely not a fun day for moi, either, except for her paw-penning...which has gone exceedingly well, once the nasty series of domestic crises had run their course.
A Wolf Full Moon, and the first one for 2009...well, the Kougaress could have used some ferocious wolfies to chase away all the bad vibes. Given this is the eleventh day and the year, 2009, also breaks down to an eleven in numerology, this must be the year to master your emotions, not as in containing them, but more to the fanged point, expressing them in the cause of your destiny, and expressing your deepest emotions to show others how much you love them.
The 2009 Wolf Full Moon is in the astrological sign of Cancer, sign of hearth and home, and home to all those moody, rising tides of emotions. Okay-meow, great for writing those emotional passionate love scenes...but yowl! not so fun to actually live for the Kougar.
But harken and barkin’, what else does our first Full Moon of the year bring ~ you heard it howling-here first, unless you’ve visited ~
http://cryptomundo.com ~ and read Lauren Coleman’s bloggie ~ which begins this way ~
What does tonight’s first Full Moon of 2009 foretell? This one is called the Wolf Moon, a Full Moon in Cancer, and it is indeed a precursor to a year that will be full of werewolf news.
“Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright.” - The Wolf Man, 1941.
For more on this Year of the Werewolf, head on over to Lauren’s Cryptomundo.
According to the fortuitous signs, we authors should take notice of, masterful werewolf heroes with a sense of universal destiny will be all the reading rage.
Or has the masterful werewolf heroine come of age? She not only protects home and hearth, but wins her mate and fulfills a cosmic destiny.
Yep and yip, it may be time for moi to revise her wolf shifter novella, Kill the Black Wolf ~ find the right publishing home and hearth, and fulfill this year’s eleven destiny.
Moving on, Big Kittens, since time and Full Moon Flash-ing wait for no one. Jolie Cain, erotic romance author, popped her cherry, hosting her first Flash Fiction at the Liquid Silver SEx blog today. Going with the theme of *FIRSTS*, she was the hostess with the mostest naughty, fun and sexy-hot firsts.
Since it was a rough beginning to the day for moi, she added *Part 17* to her current Serial Flash, using the theme of ‘firsts’.
Serial Flash in Two Hundred
Part 17 ~
Sylva felt fear slither up her spine and a thrill chase through her belly. Desire had her in its grip. Yet the cowboy, Zeke, holding her like some prize heifer, was a total frightening unknown. Honeymoon? Bride? What? Was she like some mail order bride, only tossed here by a strange-universe force? Not that she didn’t enjoy being on his horse. She loved horses, especially galloping horses. And , yee-ha, his body was all lean rawhide and ropes of muscle. Damn, his cock made itself at home in her butt crack, already. Abducted by a cowboy, yep, a first for her.
Zeke plucked his dazed-looking bride off, cradling her in his arms. “Go on,” he told Smoky. Knowing where to go, the stallion trotted toward the Hotel’s stable. Immediately Zeke bolted up the steps with her. Balancing her against his chest, he opened the unlocked door, entering swiftly. Luminous lamps switched on automatically, providing a path of golden light back to his private room. Moving into his lavatory, he placed her on a stool next to the wash basin. “Let’s get the mud off you, honey.” Kneeling before her, he gently rasped, “I apologize, Sylva, consummation first, then our wedding celebration.”
Murder by Hair Spray in Gardenia, New Atlantis
by Savanna Kougar
"Why the nice treatment, Zryphus? I was dirt under your shoes when you first arrived?" Sheriff Kalypso picked up the mascara wand. "Black, black. Just like I remember."
"Sheriff," Deputy Anna called out, "finished the personal item scan. Got the body ready for transport. We’re on our way. I’ll leave the door open. Keep airing the room out."
"Thanks, Anna. You know where I am." Kalypso picked up a compact case – solid rich elegance in design. Opening it, she studied the pasty covering. "Looks real. But I never used this stuff. Couldn’t stand it. Used the sheer version they came out with – when I used makeup. – You haven’t answered my question, Zryphus."
"Bluntly, Kalypso...I want you in my bed."
Placing the compact case down delicately, Kalypso absorbed the shock. "No, I don’t think so," she slowly enunciated.
"Have a lover?" Zryphys handed her the powder case.
"None of your business, as they used to say. – Looks real. Mind if I test it with my finger?"
"Please. – You don’t have a lover. Neither do I."
"Probably because you’re married or in a committed partnership. Or you just ended an affair – something like that. No!" Kalypso shifted gears. "Feels real, smells real. Are you aware of a company, or maybe a small business that creates these replica products?"
"Three, to be exact. Can’t tell where these originated. – I’m a one woman man, Kalypso. You’d have all my attention."
"No thanks. I politely decline. – Eyelash curler. Never used one. Always looked barbaric. – Brow tweezers. Unfortunately tried this a few times. Way too painful."
"I’ll convince you. – What’s this?"
"Eyebrow darkening powder. – No, you won’t. I don’t like men when it comes to relationship crap. Perhaps you don’t know much about our social structure here. Women rule."
"I dominate in bed. In our passionate relationship."
In 2051, murder is rare in New Atlantis...
Good close to the Full Moon night, my Big Beautiful Cats...it’s too cold for prowling and yowling tonight. So the moi has paw-penned *Part 16* for the Serial Flash ~ Happy New Year... on another Earth ~ see below.
For a long, long time the Kougar wondered what it would be like if/when the land of Atlantis rose once again...so she wrote a story about it...and that story was her American Title IV entry. And, now, the future of New Atlantis is here, the story about to be released.
Story Summary for Murder by Hair Spray in Gardenia, New Atlantis:
In 2051, murder is rare in New Atlantis. The risen land of the antediluvian empire, Atlantis, is now a sovereign land colonized by freedom fighters from the former USA, survivors of the Conflicts fought against the New World Order’s attempt to openly rule the world. A Jackie O look-alike is murdered inside her Gardenia, New Atlantis motel room. To Sheriff Kalypso Sun Wing it looks like the horrific work of a serial killer from the Federal Union, the Hair Spray Killer, his unlucky thirteenth victim. In a gesture of cooperation she invites the Federal Union Agent in charge of the case, Zryphus Dolen Vasquoz, to assist her in the investigation. Arrogantly, Agent Vasquoz assumes he will be taking over, a notion smashed by the Sheriff. After all, she’s in charge and women run New Atlantis. The battle of the sexes sizzles between them immediately. Zryphus has found the woman he wants to marry. Kalypso has sworn off men forever. Since the protection of citizens is her highest priority, she needs his help to swiftly capture the notorious Hair Spray Killer, a chihuahua shifter – and help her figure out who wants the diary Jackie O may have been murdered over – a newly found diary written by Jacqueline Kennedy during her White House years. When the Hair Spray Killer comes after Kalypso, Zryphus won’t let her out of his sight or their bed. However, the hidden group pulling the Killer Chihuahua’s strings, wants New Atlantis under their thumb – using every necessary evil.
Happy New Year... on another Earth
Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~
Part 16 ~
Sylva blinked. Gift? What the hell did that mean? Suddenly scooped off her feet, she felt herself bundled briefly against his granite-like chest, and placed on top of his horse. “Stay still,” he ordered, then rapidly grabbed up her cloak and bag. Stay still? What was she going to do? Leap off like a rodeo cowgirl, and hogtie him? Faster than a whirlwind, he draped the semi-muddy cloak in front of her, and mounted behind her. Sliding one arm around her, he held tight, while urging the horse into a gallop. “Where are we going?” she shouted. “Our honeymoon begins.”
Zeke headed straight for his family’s private floor in the Hotel Wisteria. He had only about an hour’s time left. Whenever a woman arrived through the sacred portal, she had to be claimed and bedded within ninety minutes, or she would be returned. He wasn’t about to let that happen. Reining Smoky to the right, down the next street, he touched a heel to his flanks. The stallion stretched into a faster gallop, straight for the side entrance to their floor, and slid to a halt next to the stairs. Not giving her a chance to ask questions, Zeke dismounted.
