A restaurant in Colorado received an influx of customers amid a Mother’s Day grand re-opening, but others complained to county officials the business was in violation of lockdown orders.
People flocked to C&C Coffee and Kitchen in Castle Rock on Sunday, with photos showing a ton of customers carrying on normally with few wearing face masks or adhering to social distancing guidelines.
The shop’s owner, April Arellano, said she had no choice but to open considering the economic toll of the coronavirus stay-at-home directives.
“We are so behind. We have complied for two months,” Arellano wrote on Twitter. “We cannot make it on $200/day sales when 2 staff cost me $250 not counting food, cost, utilities, and rent.”
“[We will] go out of business if I don’t do something,” she added. “[I]f I lose the business, at least I’m fighting.”

Governor slammed for turning business owners into criminals
Cumberland County Sheriff Ronny Anderson says “I have no intentions of turning local business owners into criminals.”
Resistance is growing against unconstitutional orders from Democrat governors around the country.
Pennsylvania Sheriffs are denouncing Governor Tom Wolf’s orders to turn business owners into criminals.
“Two local sheriffs say they won’t enforce the Pennsylvania governor’s COVID-19 mitigation measures. Sheriff John Zechman of Snyder County and Ernie Ritter of Union County say they won’t help the governor turn business owners into criminals.“
Cumberland County Sheriff Ronny Anderson made a popular Facebook post that assured citizens that the Sheriff office would not enforce any order that violates the constitution.
Sheriff Anderson said in part: “Our office will stand with the citizens in defense of all our Constitutional Rights! I have no intentions of turning local business owners into criminals“.

Over 2,000 former Justice Department officials signed a letter calling for Attorney General William Barr to resign over his intervention in Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s case by the FBI.
Flynn’s case was dropped last week after court documents were released revealing the FBI entrapped Trump’s former National Security Adviser in an ambush interview and doctored his 302 interview forms in 2017.

USPS Claims There Was An ‘Error’ After Telling Woman Who Had Coronavirus That Police Said She Could No Longer Get Mail
The United States Postal Service has issued an apology and claimed there was an “error” when they told a Texas woman that she could no longer receive mail due to testing positive for the coronavirus.
Pamela Bilbo was informed that her postal service was “suspended” by a Post-It note left in her mailbox.
Speaking to local station KXAN, Bilbo said there was a “little two inch by two inch post-it note from my carrier” in her mailbox, “that said they could no longer deliver my mail, because someone had tested positive for COVID-19 at this address.”
Bilbo tested positive for the virus in April.
While already anxious and ill from the virus, Bilbo said that the notice from the mail added significantly more stress to her life because her sister’s cancer medication gets delivered by the post office.
When she tried to get answers about what was going, the post office told her that the Bastrop Police Department had ordered her mail service to be suspended.
My mailbox is out on the street away from my house. I called Smithville Post office and they couldn’t tell me why except Bastrop police told them to stop my mail,” Bilbo explained.
Now, the post office has apologized for the “error.”
“The notice to the customer regarding their mail delivery was left in error,” explained Communications Specialist Becky Hernandez in an email to KXAN. “We apologize for any inconvenience that may have been experienced by our customer. As soon as local postal managers were made aware, they took steps to resolve the issue and have confirmed that mail delivery has resumed.”
