Gigundis Wind Craft ... early this afternoon one of those strange unexplainable events occurred. This Big Cat was standing in the dining area, and the internet radio program that was on did the buffering thing, so there was no sound. All of a sudden this blast-of-wind type of sound began, as if this colossal turbine engine started up... whatever the craft was... it flew by like a super jet... no, the Kougaress didn’t get any view of whatever type of craft it was, but it blasted just south of the house in a straight line. It was low, possibly not that far above the treetops. Two seconds later it was gone. That sucker was so fast, it was almost unbelievable. Never has this Big Cat heard that gigantic blasting whoosh of sound. There was no wind. No storm. The trees weren’t blowing, or disturbed. So, what the hell was that? Yeah, right someone’s going to speak up and tell the Kougaress what that was... oh, sure, email her if you don’t want to comment. ~~~~~~

Why can't we go there ourselves and check this out? In 1998, a mysterious little man that Whitley Strieber calls the Master of the Key burst into his hotel room in Toronto and told him all kinds of things he didn't know--but when he checked them out later, he found out they were TRUE. (one of the few (The NEW, revised edition of The Key, with a foreword that talks about how many of his statements later turned out to be true, will be in bookstores May 12). One of the few things that Whitley could NOT check out was MOTKE's provocative statement that we are stuck on this planet because the parents of the child who would have given us the ability to travel into space was killed in the holocaust.There are other things about the moons, which were first discovered in 1877, that puzzle Shklovsky: They are small (no other planet in the solar system has moons as tiny as the Martian moons). Also, their origin is unknown--they're orbits are wrong and they are too close to Mars to be captured asteroids (as most moons are). Second, their origin bothered him. Were they captured asteroids as others assumed? No, they could not be! Their orbital plane was all wrong. And they’re too close to Mars. Much too close. Most puzzling of all: Phobos changes its speed occasionally. From all these (and other) indications, Shklovsky thinks Phobos is hollow.If Phobos IS a UFO, is it empty--a discarded vehicle left out in space? In UFO Digest, Dirk Vander Ploeg quotes Shklovsky as saying, "Can a natural celestial body be hollow? Never! Therefore, Phobos must have an artificial origin and be an artificial Martian satellite. Jupiter Turns into Odd UFO... wowsers, just before 8:00 pm tonight, the Kougaress gazed out her west-facing window... yep, still overcast, no stars to be seen... however, there was a flash of white light above the horizon that, at first, looked like it could be Jupiter shining through... however, this Big Cat saw another big flash of white light, followed by steady pulses of this bright white light. Now, planes have flashing lights. However, the pulse rate is different, and not nearly so bright as what the Kougaress witnessed.As she watched this *whatever it was* craft moved parallel to the horizon, and not that far above the horizon. The rate of speed was faster than a small plane, but slower than a fast-moving jet. But, no aircraft this Big Cat has ever seen at night flashed with that bright white intensity... it looked like the planet Jupiter, moving across the sky and pulsing instead of shining... now, WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT???~~~~~~

He would have melted the snow... Nighttime worn-out mews, my frisky risky Felines... moderate temps on the tame prairie today, but not much melting except on the roofs... omyyowls! what another strangelet day for this Big Cat... what about you?~~~
Snow Sparkle Survival ... the half mile trek down to the mailbox, then the half mile back, was definitely an exercise in survival for this Big Cat... she couldn’t help but remember all those times as a cub kidlet when she played out in the snow and how it definitely came in survival-handy simply because you learn how to negotiate in snow... what also helped at times, were the animal tracks because you could judge the depth of the snow, and follow their path... heck, at one point this Big Cat had cold, drifted snow up to the middle of her knee she had to walk through... and she fell a few times... rolling comes in darn handy to reach a tree, then pull yourself up... anyhoo, the Kougaress didn’t have the energy to gaze at the snow-covered beauty around her that much, and it is spectacular... she did witness the eagle launch from a perch tree... for a small time when the snow wasn’t that deep, she became entranced by the aurora, 
diamond-dust sparkles on top of the snow... goddess, it was surreal beautiful... other than surviving her trek, this Big Cat did have a few other moments of concern... near the end of the drive, from the wooded area, she heard the coyotes warn themselves about her presence... there had to be, at least, four or five, or more of them... given the Kougaress was alone, she had to wonder how hungry they were... so she summoned up her primitive energy just in case... but, all was well... and, it was cool to hear them talking with each other... probably commenting about the stupid human-cat out by herself in winter-deep conditions. And, they were right. It was stupid. But, hey, no way to drive the transport down, or shovel it. And, the crapping dark cabal has ‘suppressed’ all hovercraft tech... hovercraft wouldn’t use their effing gas, and, gee, folks might be able to travel anywhere they want, and do lots of good things for themselves... so, at this point, this Big Cat author has a real snow-survival experience to add to her stories. And, there may be more, since another round of cold and snow is expected by mid-week. Yowls, maybe her muscles and such will recover enough for another trek before that.~~~~~~
In the WHAT THE HELL is going on category... about four-thirty in the afternoon, the Kougaress heard the sound of a jet when she was close to her west-facing window... well, usually nothing can be seen... however, it’s become rather like a game to see if anything can be seen... WOW! In this case. Flying low and fairly fast, from west to east, was some kind of military jet... not that big and not super streamlined, but a pale color that looked to be tinted with silvery gray... perfect for disappearing into a cloud bank, or not being seen when looking upwards... because it would just blend in. For some reason this jet was flying significantly below the thin cloud cover... and as this Big Cat watched it she heard the louder noise of another jet. This one, identical to the first one, streaked by at higher rate of speed on the south side of the house, rather than the north side of the house. Then, the Kougaress heard the scream of a fast-flying third jet overhead, but didn’t see that one.~~~~~~
