Yes, the last costume party has arrived. So, to bedevil the devil, the Kougaress is arriving as a Demon Slayer -- direct from the angelic realms.

Witching Hour mews and boos! My Halloween Beautiful Black Cats... a spooky night on the tame prairie... not a star to be seen and the sky has been a muted deep black from evening to midnight... earlier, the waxing crescent moon shone and became a lovely shade of orange.

Can you feel it, my para-sensitive Felines? Witchiness is on the rise... keep a sharp lookout, you’ll notice more and more that everything witchy now comes to the fore... the good, the bad, the ugly... and the beautiful!

Bedazzling UFO update: okay then, to preface this update, the Kougaress will say that there are many seekers of UFOs who use night vision goggles, and regularly see skies-full of UFOs in the night sky... Yep, A WHOLE LOT UFOS... so, yesterday, the Kougaress saw what appeared to be ‘two’ of them critters high overhead in the night sky... they were close together, then split apart, so it appeared... then one of them became the shape of an elongated triangle and ended up moving back and forth, sort of like pacing... the other UFO became rod-shaped, a line of sparkly colored lights. The Kougaress saw them several times during the night... also, her original bedazzling UFO arrived, and was in a slightly different position in the black heavens... so, with her mind going back and forth about ‘could it be a star?’ ... but, no -- that was just reaching for some obvious explanation... anyhoo, as if it to prove itself, the Bedazzler did several fades from view and returns to its prism-colorful self... no, it definitely wasn’t clouds moving by... clouds weren’t moving anywhere... so, yes, the UFO high strangeness continues!!!

During this pivotal week for all of humanity, a new level of POWER is Rising like the Phoenix. Consider this cosmic shower of power to be like the hammer of Thor. Know too, this vibration is up for grabs, and can be used for a good purpose or for a bad purpose.

Thus, it becomes more important than ever to claim your own personal power, and use it to better your life, and the lives of others. As well, at this time, all of your issues around power will surface.

Now is the time to clean house, rid yourself of your emotional and psychological issues, and learn how to wield your power effectively. Now is the time to bring the hammer down where needed.

In the continuing horrific drama that is the worldwide economy, look for even more surprises -- a crash here, a crash there. It is advisable at this juncture to remove your funds from any bank that is faltering.

However you can prepare for winter, do so now. Possible power outages are a real danger as was demonstrated earlier in the year by the outage in the southwest that cascaded through southern California. It is likely there will be excessive snow and ice in some areas of the country this winter, so stocking up on necessities is a wise move.

Likely during the midweek a ‘high strangeness’ event will occur. This event will be suppressed. However, there will be news leaks and exposure via the internet.

At this point in time, a band of journalist renegades will rise to more prominence. All while the current crop of TV and newspaper reporters will fade in popularity. This is because, in part, many will no longer identify with traditional newscasters.

It’s a new day and age in America proper. Every despicable tactic and psi op will be used to stop this demand for freedom and equality by the American people. The levels of violence will escalate, and the time is near where choices must be made similar to the Revolutionary War era.

Remember, Magick is now at your fingertips. Tune into the vibration, and follow your Inner Knowing. This attunement is vital to continue the new surging Renaissance, and also for creating your future.

Trendwise, this is a tricky week. Magick, Power, getting prepared for the realities of winter -- that said, everything related to becoming more magickal and more personally powerful will be what is desired. Plus, folks will be looking for everything and anything that will get them through the winter ahead.

This is a good week to make certain family, friends and good neighbors are getting prepared for the winter and the times ahead. Also, establish ways to communicate if the normal channels are down.

Saturday Spooksville

Saturday Spooksville... That is the name of tonight’s Halloween Party for kids and adults. And, this is the Kougaress’s role, the witch on the broomstick with her black cat familiar. She is going to be doing a lot of swooping and weaving about while cackling and tossing candy kisses, wrapped for Halloween, of course.

Saturday late night mews and boos, my Halloween eager and eccentric Big Beautiful Cats... chilly last night, but warmish today on the tame prairie... talk about spooky looking... the foliage is so dry and withered from lack of rain, there is an unnatural, shiver-feel to the land right now. Be careful, my darlings, lots of nasties about for this Halloween.

Just for some black cat fun...

In this flash scene written two Halloweens ago, Sable, my heroine in BLACK CAT BEAUTY, has shifted fully to her black cat self.

The Halloween Adventures of Sable, my Black Cat Beauty girl

Relishing the chance to be in her black cat form, Sable crouched low on her belly, the wet cool leaves of autumn barely noticed. Pricking her ears she listened to the hayride wagon’s approach. She ignored the piercing rumble of the tractor engine, concentrating on the one wheel that softly creaked.

Anticipation and impatience twitched the tip of her tail. If she timed it just right, the fun would be Halloween spooky and cat-tastic Twilight now crept over the farm fields, and, already several of the teenagers sexually giggled. Many of them rubbed against each other, exploring.

Sable feline smiled, then crouched lower, preparing to spring like a demon. Instead of listening, she focused on the rolling vibration of the wagon and the mice smells embedded in the lovely fragrance of the hay. Once the wagon came into sight, she followed the spin of spokes. Tightening her sleek muscles, she waited until the edge of the second wheel appeared.

Sable launched above the wagon. Lengthening her body in mid-flight, she unsheathed her claws for effect and loosed a yowling shriek. One girl screamed bloody murder as Sable lightly landed on a pile of hay.

Immediately, she dashed like a feral black cat around the group of teenagers, scrabbling intentionally over their laps and legs. They froze or jumped in terror. Shrill yelps split the air and the wagon halted with a big jerk.

Zigzagging madly between the freaked out teens, Sable nimbly avoided their panicked swats and frantic kicks. Clumps of hay flew everywhere, then swirled around them like a blizzard.

For more cat grins, Sable seized her opportunity, leaping toward the man driving the tractor. His eyes widened, looking like twin full moons. “What the hell –“

With a plop, Sable landed on top of his wide-brimmed straw hat. Sinking her claws in, she clung for a few moments while he wildly grabbed for her snaking black tail.

Satisfied to her feline core, Sable balanced herself long enough to leap and sail to the safety of a low-hanging limb. Settling herself on a wide branch, she watched the human show below.

Mini UFO Update: For the past three days, some type of object has been on the western horizon once night falls... the Kougaress would believe it’s a huge light of some type.. Except for how ‘whatever it is’ moves around, changes color and shape... also, how it flickers, blinks out, and creates geometric patterns... one night there were several times the Kougaress saw a three-dimensional pyramid shape that was gold in color. Really, what it is??? This Big Cat does not know.

Ally’s toes curled inside her super warm UGGs as she rode, alone, at the back of the horse-drawn hay wagon. Her kids all sat in front with the driver, taking turns holding the reins. Wasn’t a trail ride supposed to be done sitting amid the itchy hay, together with your loved ones?

The couples back here with her sure had the right idea. Each set was snuggled in, heads close and hands at work…thankfully, under the blankets. She wasn’t prude by any means, and her kids were entertained away from the adults, but she was lonely.

“Have we got everything?” Jazzed on caffeine but far more on nerves, Merry darted about her office, cell phone at her ear. She’d held the Haunted Hay Ride and Corn Maze After Dark at her dude ranch before, but this was the first year for the Haunted Trail Ride. Trying to co-ordinate everything perfectly was worse than managing a fractious bronc. Just because she personally hadn’t arranged the trail ride didn’t ease her worry about it. Exactly the opposite, in fact.

Dash, the mastermind behind the trail ride idea, entered the office without knocking, as usual. Merry waved distractedly at him and continued speaking into the phone. “Spare batteries,” she said. “We’ve got spare batteries, right? And extra flashlights? Somebody always forgets.”

His life as a ghost rider had worn thin -- like a wool blanket after several long winters on the trail. Never interactin’ with another human being, the exception being when destiny demanded he intervene to right a wrong, and that was quick as a rattler’s strike.

According to the Heavenly Council he had to pay for his past sins. Never mattered, he hadn’t done most of ‘em, and tried to have his say.

Satan had been gunnin’ for him ever since he’d cleaned out a nest of the worst hombres in the whole of Colorado territory. One of Satan’s infiltratin’ devil angels had gained the Council’s ear. One so slick, with a voice so golden and deceivin’ Denver’s own protesting voice had been hanged until dead.

What's Halloween without pumpkins?

There are all kinds of pumpkins. Some you can eat, some are for show, but they're all pumpkins, and they all say fall. In the form of jack o'-lanterns, they also say Halloween.

The last few days of October will bring confidence, success and even a bit of bliss -- a perfect way to end the month!

The good vibes kick off on October 28, when jovial Jupiter meets powerful Pluto. Instead, you could easily find yourself swept away by all things good to remember the goblins and ghouls of the night. But either way, you'll have fun!

Romance or Death by His Fangs

‘Why did I ever agree to this?” Shandra cracked the door of her sporty, low-slung Mazda. Mist hugged the ground and the Victorian-style mansion, while festively lit, was starkly etched against the midnight sky.

Streaming banks of silvery and charcoal colored clouds played hide and seek with the snowy-white quarter moon, heightening the Halloween moodiness of the scene before her.

“I don’t do spooky,” Shandra muttered. Mentally, she frowned at her friend, Liza.

Yesterday, Shandra had reluctantly agreed to cover the Vampire wine-tasting party for Liza’s online magazine. Her long-time friend, and their staff of four, covered the local events of their small but spread-out, eclectic community, located southwest of Portland, Oregon.

Spooky-ooky or not, what else could she have done? Since Liza’s young daughter had come down with a bad case of the flu.

A shudder slid through Shandra as she slowly widened the car door...

Thank Goddess for the Steampunk Renegade... the Kougaress found this splen-tastic costume when searching for a renegade costume that would reflect this infamous song lyric “when it comes to heroes, renegades are mine”. Tonight’s costume party is The Rise of the Renegade. There will be cap gun shootouts, some hard drinking -- cider and sarsparilla included -- and obviously this Big Cat Renegade will be using her steam pistol.

Elevenish meows, my sassy witchy Big Beautiful Cats... yes! Rain fell in the tame prairie... not a lot, but any rainshower is appreciated... wow, did this Big Cat see the grid-pattern chemtrails on the way back from her mailbox... they were in every direction, and beneath the clouds... the Kougaress has never seen anything like it before.

Bedazzling UFO update: From about 3:30 in the morning to around four, the Kougaress observed her UFO... it wasn’t as colorful as before, although still utterly magnificent. It moved back and forth, blinking in and out. Several different light patterns showed at different times... one of them looked like a large arrow pointing upward. And then, the major happening. Either there were two UFOs. Or that is one huge sucker of a UFO. The way the light shifted, and split, it appeared there were two. Gosh, is this Big Cat going to miss it, when whatever it leaves.

Late night howls, my Halloween Black Cat Beauties... blustery warm on the tame prairie, and so windy for awhile the Kougaress had to bring in her pepper plants [no doubt now outlawed as food].

Bedazzling UFO Update ~ around three in the morning the Kougaress saw her UFO put on another dazzling light display... oh, the exquisite pulsing colors... like looking through a celestial kaleidoscope... at one point the UFO became star-shaped. Okay, so it was an overcast night, and only a few stars could be dimly seen. Puzzled in the extreme, the Kougaress looked up the current positions of the planets. Well... it ain’t no planet!!! And, isn’t any star. Not to mention while the positioning has been in a certain area high in the sky, the bedazzling UFO does alter it’s position... and not in some naturally progressing arc across the sky. It can look like a star and blink out... look like a triangle, a rod... a pulsing explosion of color. Talk about the wow factor.

‘Bring Your Own Wolf’ Costume Party ~ Part Two

There were some advantages to being thought of as only a dog. Zovier settled himself in his sphinx position to enjoy the show. His star witch, Sapphyra, had finished bathing and prepared to dress.

Once they’d arrived at her tiny house, Zovier had behaved as if he’d been obedience trained. By following Sapphyra’s every instruction, he’d earned her trust, and earned her sweetly stroking hand. When she’d finally hugged him, he’d taken advantage nestling close to her firm yet very soft breasts.

Sapphyra had chatted and cooed to him as she warmed up meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Teasing him about being the big bad wolf, and how she didn’t want him to devour her, she’d fed him what she ate.

Afterward, Zovier had stayed on her heels as she moved with dancing steps inside her bedroom. Because the room was small, he remained in the doorway, watching her arrange her party costume on the bed.

Audrina knocked on the wooden door. "Mr. Edwards?"

Nothing. A cool breeze blew in from the Atlantic Ocean and Audrina tugged on the shawl around her shoulders. Where was Mr. Edwards?

She twisted the knob to the lighthouse door. It turned, but stuck. Glancing up, she noticed rust on the hinges. Leaning her shoulder against the door, she pushed it open. Built in the early 1800's, the lighthouse captured the ambience of the past, standing proud against the Maine coastline.

"Mr. Edwards?" Her voice rattled throughout the lighthouse. Audrina tucked a stray tendril of her auburn hair behind her ear, pausing near the entrance. He had to be here. Her aunt's diary related that he rarely ventured from the antiquated lighthouse. Fishermen and cruise liners depended on the light and audible signals from this building – especially when the weather became foggy.

Max Kane calls out FDA to enforce raw milk law against moms -- will the agency show up on Nov. 1?

(NaturalNews) A caravan of Raw Milk Freedom Riders (RMFR) will be making its way to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) headquarters in just a few days on Nov. 1 to protest against the agency's irrational ban on the sale and distribution of raw milk across state lines.

Max Kane, executive producer of FarmFoodFreedom.org and one of the speakers at the event, wants to know if the FDA will actually show up and try to enforce these laws against the mothers.

Kane recently tried to call the FDA to report the "illegal" activity that will soon take place in front the agency's main facilities in Silver Spring, Md., on Nov. 1. After getting shuffled around a couple dozen times to different offices and divisions of the FDA, he finally gets through to the voicemail of John Sheehan, director of the FDA's Division of Plant and Dairy Food Safety, and one of the head honchos in the war against raw milk.

In early 2011, the FDA used its interstate commerce clause to file a lawsuit against Dan Allgyer, an Amish farmer from Pennsylvania, alleging that he was illegally shipping raw milk across state lines into Maryland where the food is prohibited for sale. Consumers in other states are now challenging this lawsuit with one of their own against the FDA.

But a group of mothers has decided to take things one step further by organizing a caravan that will deliberately bring raw milk into Maryland from Pennsylvania, and stage a massive "drink in" in front of FDA headquarters, which is located at 10903 New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring. This offensive approach, which is drawing nationwide attention, has left the FDA literally speechless.

In his voicemail message, Kane invites Sheehan and any others at the FDA to either attend the event, or to come and take action against the mothers, whom he says will be parked on the southbound shoulder of Conowingo Road (US Route 1) in Rising Sun, Md., at exactly 10:30 am EST on Nov. 1. This is the official meeting spot just south of the Pennsylvania border where the caravan will meet up and proceed to FDA's headquarters.

Late night meows, my Halloween partying, razzle-dazzle Big Cats... another warmish dry day on the tame prairie... a good thing, and appreciated since then some stuff gets done that needs to get done... whoa! Is this Big Cat’s head spinning from everything that happened and got accomplished today... with many more miles to travel.

It’s B-a-c-k... the bedazzling UFO... on September 30, 2011 the Kougaress described her sighting of a UFO... now, these ‘whatever they are’ critters that come in various forms -- are being seen all over the good ole US, and around the world. It’s been nearly an epidemic of sightings for, at least, a couple of years now.

So, after four in the morning the Kougaress was gazing out her west-facing window when she glimpsed the same shine of magnificent colors she’d seen previously. Not certain, however, if that was the same type of UFO, given clumps of tree leaves were in the way partially, she ventured outside with a feeling of eeriness swamping her. In fact, she stood on the threshold trying to see if that was the same UFO, or the same type of UFO... well, what greeted her was a mesmerizing, wondrous display of stars. Given she rarely gets to see the stars these days because of the thickly overcast or partly cloudy skies... well, this Big Cat ventured outside to get a better look. There was Orion with his belt and blade, so beautifully startlingly clear that the Kougaress stared for long moments, then cast her glance over the array of dazzlingly brilliant stars. As she scanned over the skies, she thought she caught glimpses of the UFO because she saw those signature prism-colors flash on. However, she could never get a clear look. Well, she did a bit mental communicating basically inviting them to show themselves. But, ‘nada’ that she could see. So, after enjoying the stars again, she went back inside. Well, being the curious cat she is, the Kougaress took another look out the window before going to bed. Yep! There was her UFO, a huge color-scintillating object in about the same area of the sky as it was during her previous sighting. However, it blinked out and there was nothing but dark sky. When it blinked back on briefly, it was the beautiful, colored shape of a triangle. After blinking out again, it returned as a long rod shape... softer colors moved back and forth... moments later the UFO slowly faded from view... well, it returned again as a rod, but paler in color... and, once again it slowly vanished. Nothing but black sky. And, that was the end of the sighting.

Yeah, stars don’t do that. Neither do meteors or comets. Planes and jets don’t do that. Nor do satellites. A black ops craft? Could be. Although, is the tech really that advanced? Unless, of course, it was holo-projected. However, can a holo projection respond to a request to prove itself?

Several hours of determined decorating had transformed Dante’s Pleasure Club from a gloomy den of iniquity that reeked of spilled booze to a Halloween-themed den of iniquity that reeked of spilled booze. Fake cobwebs and rubber bats and spiders dangled from the ceiling, authentic corn shocks stood in the corners, and each table sported a leering jack-o-lantern. These last were plastic; word of the late-night pumpkin free-for-all had reached Dante’s ears just in time for him to make a hasty substitution. Spilled liquor came with the territory, but pumpkin mash ground into his dance floor? Not in Dante’s club.

“Place is looking downright scary,” Lamar observed with a satisfied nod. “Perfecto.”

Some channels have thirty-one days of movies, others have fifteen days, and then there's the obscure movie you might find on other channels. How do I choose what to watch? Sometimes it's a real nail-biter. Now that we have Netflix, we check to see which one is not available and that's what we watch.
