Meteorite Micrographs

I have shared meteorite micrographs with the Coast to Coast web site viewers in the past. These have included samples from the Moon and Mars. Well, how about some Mercurian? That's right, planet Mercury! While no meteorite is officially accepted to be from Mercury, a class of meteorite called Angrites are thought to be the most likely candidates.

This set of images are from the meteorite D'Orbigny. One of the most beautiful meteorites I have examined. This thin section was imaged in transmitted cross polarized light. The field of view is 0.40 mm. (which works out to approximately 160X depending on your monitor size)

These skeletal crystal structures are an example of the some of the features that indicated formation processes that lead to Angrites being considered as possibly Mercurian. Keep in mind these are just a few pleasant to look at examples. Much more is involved, most of which exceeds my knowledge or ability to explain.

Meow too cool and extraordinarily beautiful too. Don’t you think, my Gorgeous KitKats? For all the pics head on over to the Coast-to-Coast web site.
Warm winds today on the tame prairie...since the Kougar is making good progress on her revisions, she won’t claw-type much of a bloggie.

And the Blogger drama continues with no resolution as of this afternoon. Nope, just the suggestion that it is moi’s IP address. If that were true, sucky hecky yowl ~ what about everyone else’s IP address, everyone else who is having the same problem? And since, this Big Mad Cat can still access Yahoo chat loops with adult content warnings...nope, I don’t ROARING-think so...

X-Serial Flash in Two Hundred ~ Sylva and Zeke’s story continues...

Part 42 ~

Sylva ignored her fast intake of breath. Now the freakin’ hell what? Instinctively, she reached back, snagging the bedspread, then covering herself...like it actually made one damn’s worth of difference. “Lovely. Your family.” She tried a small smile and figured it looked more like a grimace. “They’ll take to you right off, honey.” He gave her a reassuring cocky grin. “Wine, please,” she prompted. Now might actually be a good time to get drunk, a condition she hated feeling, thus had rarely experienced. But then, there was always the exception. Pivoting slightly, he reached for a pinky-peach dressing gown.

Zeke unhooked the dressing gown he had chosen for his bride from the clothing stand. “You’ll look beautiful in this, Sylva.” He draped the gown beside her, hoping she would be pleased. “Besides this champagne, what other wines do you hanker for?” Tipping her face up to him, she eyed him like a bold mare. “Any whiskey, handsome?” Her need for relief shone in the depths of her turquoise eyes. “No, whiskey, darlin’. Not yet. We’ll eat first.” Zeke touched a kiss to her rose-tender mouth. “I’ll be right back.” He departed before he jumped astride her for another ride.

Kisses to John Lennon

As the Kougar walks her life's journey upon the Mother, she finds herself in another untenable position, especially in the realm of emotions. This is a constant for the Kougaress. However, last night on Coast to Coast with Ian Punnett, a most remarkable man shared his life experiences. He spoke eloquently and with rough deep realism about John Lennon, about their friendship. He first met John as a student at the Liverpool Art school during the not-the-Walrus's artisitic coming of age. For those of you who don't know or don't remember, John Lennon, Give Peace a Chance John Lennon was one of the Beatles. Remember now? the Fab Four, the musical invasion from Britain. The Mop Tops. That was the Kougar's generation, when she came of age from her cubhood.
As the Kougar listened, reminiscing like a claw-crazed, bouncing-off-the-walls cat, and spellbound with a fervent fascination for what had been, for what she knew, for what she didn't -- the Kougaress often lamented her choice to go for longevity in this world, instead of living a more wildcat life. For it was a choice consciously made at the time. Driven by, perhaps, an over-idealistic belief the future was there to be created in a beautiful incredible way never before seen, where all of us could flourish and nourish each other in freedom, real freedom where peace had a chance. Flower power, dear Big Kitties all. Yes, it was once real. Once possible. Once.
And the dreams...the dreams, they die hard. Dreams of the soul, they die even harder. Dreams...well, dreams of the heart may never die...but they are buried alive. Often buried alive, dear Big Cats, who walk and paw-dance this world with your good beating hearts and your precious bright souls.
Dreams...dreams are often buried alive because what was once possible has been lost to an opportunity, an opportunity for an Age. The sign of that loss, the loss of the Flower Power Age, the death of John Lennon, not by the hand of his cruelly-used assassin, but by Who pulled the pathetic assassin's puppet strings. And that I shall leave to your walk upon our most beloved realm, the blue marble planet, Earth.

Kiss For JFK's Camelot

Hello, Big Kitty lovers, have you ever envisioned what our world, our precious country would be, if the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy had failed? Yesterday was the 44th anniversary of that terror day, that beginning of the national nightmare which, I contend, still envelops us all.
Yesterday I listened to another amazing truth-astonishing show on Coast to Coast am with George Noory (coasttocoastam.com) on the Kennedy assassination.
And remembered again. As I always remember. Vivid as fresh blood on pristine snow.
Seventh grade civics class, over the loudspeaker, the announcement. A stillness inside me, where breath does not exist, cannot exist -- that moment out of time has never left my soul, and will probably never leave me. Because in that moment of total stunned silence, that moment of collective breath held by everyone in my school, I knew...my spirit knew...the One Spirit which connects us all...knew. Knew the truth.
As the cougar knows the arrival of prey, before the scent of the rabbit on dusk's breeze, before the fur-outline sight of the rabbit, before the hop hop rustle through grasses, over leaves, before the coveted sound of the rabbit's nibbling. The energy, the aura of the rabbit arrives first. For the cougar who listens, who sees with stalking waiting awareness. The truth of the rabbit always arrives first. Yes, my spirit knew the truth...despite every manipulation and machination to hide the complex layers of ugly truth responsible for John Kennedy's life being taken away by the explosion of bullets on that day in Dallas. All in plain sight. On black and white tv. Told from Walter Cronkite's immortal lips.
Yet, the truth was never in plain sight. The truth has never been seen in the blessed light of day.
Unless, and until the entire truth of that day, that terrible assassination, that ending of American Camelot, finally explodes into the blinding light of day --
Until...our most enlightened future on this beloved Earth cannot arrive.
Truth turns the key of our future. That most blessed future. And nothing else.
We, the people, need a showdown, the sheriff of truth versus the bad guys with the shadow-hidden black hats.
A High Noon of Truth. Remember that classic black and white film?

The Kougar kisses President John Fitzgerald Kennedy wherever he lives in our grand cosmic order. Now.
The Kougar kisses what could have been for us all...and what could still be for all of us. Our Camelot future.

The Kougar's sweetest kisses upon your cheek...
