A federal land grab being imposed under the guise of environmental protection in Southern Nevada has been labeled an act of “deliberate retaliation” by Cliven Bundy, the rancher who was at the center of a standoff between BLM agents and armed militia groups earlier this year.

On Sunday, the Bundy family posted a Facebook entry which asserted that, “the federal government is mounting retaliations against the Bundy family and the Southern Nevada people,” after it was announced that the feds intended to designate around 1.8 million acres of land around their Gold Butte range as critical to the environment.

The initial dispute between Bundy and the feds, which culminated in an armed standoff between BLM agents and Bundy supporters back in April, centered around more than $1 million in grazing fees which authorities claimed Bundy owed stretching back two decades.

The Bundy family asserts that the new draft Resource Management Plan made public by the Bureau of Land Management would place up to 3 million acres of land off limits to recreational use, agriculture or ranching.

“They’re trying to surround us by controlling all the land. People should know they’re doing this without the knowledge of the people who use it,” Carol Bundy told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Days after the standoff came to a head earlier this year, after which the feds were forced to release nearly 400 cattle belonging to Bundy, Nevada Senator Harry Reid labeled Bundy supporters “domestic terrorists” and indicated that the fight was not over.

“From near the beginning of history, tyrannical men have sought to oppress through the control of land and resources, “Control the land and resources, and you have the power to control the people”. There is a direct correlation to land and resources with power and wealth. All major powers in world history have gained their power & wealth by conquering the land and controlling the resources,” states the Bundy Facebook post, adding that Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs) “have been a tool used by the federal government to gain further control of large masses of western lands and the resources.”

The BLM’s latest move to seize huge tracts of land surrounding Bundy’s property under the justification of environmental protection suggests that we could witness part two of the ‘Battle of Bunkerville’ sometime over the next few months.

The comment period for the BLM’s new proposal ends on January 7th after a series of public meetings set to begin on Monday.

Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy has demanded that Sheriff Douglas Gillespie disarm BLM officials and return his seized cattle as a showdown between Bundy’s supporters and federal agents looms.

Despite the fact that the Bureau of Land Management has backed down and announced it will cease its operation to round up Bundy’s cattle, the rancher gave Gillespie a one hour time limit to seize all firearms from BLM agents involved in the siege.

Video footage from the scene in Bunkerville shows dozens of cowboys on horseback, with supporters now vowing to take back hundreds of cattle the feds have already stolen from Bundy.

Police are now blocking roads and demanding that hundreds of Bundy supporters turn back as tensions mount.

BLM federal agents are threatening to shoot Cliven Bundy supporters who are attempting to seize back stolen cattle as a showdown looms.

Despite the fact that the Bureau of Land Management has backed down and announced it will cease its operation to round up Bundy’s cattle, the rancher gave Gillespie a one hour time limit to seize all firearms from BLM agents involved in the siege.

Last night this Big Cat listened to a discussion at Revolution Radio ~freedomslips.com~  which was mostly about the communications blackout in the area, and the illegality of cutting off cell phone towers... yeah, what if someone had a medical emergency, and needed immediate help.

Anyhoo, one good idea that came out of the Rev Radio discussion was for people to protest at ALL of the BLM office locations -- even preventing the BLM enforcers from leaving. The Kougaress believes shutting down their ability to operate temporarily, then permanently would be a HUGE step in the right direction. This rogue 'unconstitutional' agency IS NOT a friend to the people, to the land, or to the wildlife and plants. No, their mission is to cruelly exploit the land for profit that benefits only the rich and powerful... to sell it off the Communist Chinese for gawd's sake.

The Bureau of Land Management, whose Acting Deputy Director was Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) former senior adviser, has purged documents from its web site stating that the agency wants Nevada rancher Clive Bundy’s cattle off of the land his family has worked for over 140 years in order to make way for solar panel power stations.

“Non-Governmental Organizations have expressed concern that the regional mitigation strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone utilizes Gold Butte as the location for offsite mitigation for impacts from solar development, and that those restoration activities are not durable with the presence of trespass cattle,” the document states.

Another BLM report entitled Regional Mitigation Strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone (BLM Technical Note 444) [http://www.blm.gov/pgdata/etc/medialib/blm/wo/blm_library/tech_notes.Par.29872.File.dat/TN_444.pdf] reveals that Bundy’s land in question is within the “Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone and surrounding area” which is part of a broad U.S. Department of Energy program for “Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States” on land “managed” by BLM.

“In 2012, the BLM and the U.S. Department of Energy published the Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States,” the report reads. “The Final Solar Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement assessed the impact of utility-scale solar energy development on public lands in the six southwestern states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.”

“The Approved Resource Management Plan Amendments/Record of Decision (ROD) for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States implemented a comprehensive solar energy program for public lands in those states and incorporated land use allocations and programmatic and SEZ-specific design features into land use plans in the six-state study area.”

“His son, a lawyer with a prominent Las Vegas firm that is representing ENN, helped it locate a 9,000-acre (3,600-hectare) desert site that it is buying well below appraised value from Clark County, where Rory Reid formerly chaired the county commission.”

Although these reports are in plain view, the mainstream media has so far ignored this link.

As a sovereign state, Nevada owns the right to remove every federal employee in said state. Also, the Sheriff is the highest authority, and has the right to remove any fed agent for any reason. This would be a wise move by every state, and every sheriff at this point in time. Why? For one thing, then the state and county could start their own banks, and issue currency, which would alleviate the current economic collapse of the country.

Also, since BLM agents are being sent in from other states to Nevada. This would be an excellent opportunity for SWAMP FOX style efforts to take over their buildings and/or confiscate their equipment... or, whatever ingenious tactics come to mind. NOW is the time to take back our land, and our country.

Okay, kiddo kittens, it's coming down in Nevada against Cliven Bundy and the BRAVE ONES protesters. Unthinkable brutality has already occurred against the people standing against the villainous and unlawful BLM and company. Mr. Bundy's cattle have also been cruelly treated with some of them dead because of how they've been rounded up. Also, the mothers are being separated from their calves. Please, if you can do anything, do it. Not just for the sake of Mr. Bundy and his extremely courageous family... not only to save his cattle from more cruelty, which is cause enough... but because this type of unconscionable brutality will continue to spread, and you or someone you love could be next.

CALL – The Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval issued a statement of concern over the “free speech” area set up by the fedeal government, Rangers, BLM and other agents, but he hasn’t got off his behind to show up in support of Mr. Bundy….. call his office and express your outrage over what these terrorists in the US government are doing to him.

Call the Senator, the sherriff’s office, every media outlet you can think of that is NOT reporting this situation.
