Park Ranger Repeatedly Tases Native American Vet Trying To Pray At Petroglyph National Monument

Disturbing video from Albuquerque, New Mexico, taken Sunday at the Petroglyph National Monument shows a park ranger repeatedly tasing a Native American man for walking off the trail.
Native American and Marine veteran Darrell House had been walking his dog at the national monument and went just off the trail to pray.
“I go there to pray. I bring my sage. I do my prayers. I harvest dirt from the area for ceremonies,” House said.
That’s when the park ranger arrived and tased House multiple times as he screamed for help in confusion.
“This park ranger started following me, and he came out of nowhere and he got upset about that. I guess he was upset about me going off trail before, you know, doing my prayers for the rocks.”
After the video went viral, the National Park Service issued the following statementto KOB 4:
“This incident is under review and has been referred to our internal affairs unit for a thorough investigation. We take any allegation of wrongdoing very seriously, and appreciate the public’s patience as we gather the facts of this incident.”
House didn’t understand why the park ranger responded so forcefully.
“I didn’t harm anyone,” House said. “I didn’t cause any harm to anybody. I wasn’t disorderly. I wasn’t on any substances. This has been going for years. I’m practicing my religious rights on my ancestral land.”
This incident is similar in absurdity to the incident in San Antonio last week where adisabled Army veteran was forced to the ground and arrested for not wearing a mask.

JetBlue has banned rapper Lil Pump from future travel with the airline after he refused to wear a mask onboard a recent flight, according to reports.
The hip-hop artist “became verbally abusive with crew members after being asked multiple times and refusing to comply with JetBlue’s face covering policy” during a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles on Sunday, JetBlue representative Derek Dombrowski told USA Today.
“His return reservation was cancelled and he is no longer welcome to fly on JetBlue,” Dombrowski told the outlet. “The safety of all customers and crewmembers is JetBlue’s first priority.”
JetBlue requires that all passengers over the age of two wear face masks “during check-in, boarding, while in flight and deplaning.”
