Fifty years ago this week, the Cultural Revolution began with a sudden shift in power. China’s youth, raised to revere their teachers and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) cadres, were abruptly told to overthrow them instead. CCP Chairman Mao Zedong urged students to “bombard the headquarters,” smoking out crypto-capitalists and spies who had wormed their way into the party and betrayed the revolution. “To rebel,” the chairman assured the young, “is justified.”

They did: first with posters and speeches, then with mob beatings. By the end of the summer of 1966, dozens of educators and thousands of ordinary Beijing citizens were dead. Reviled and purged by their own subordinates, high-level party members fell like autumn leaves. Anyone showing restraint or a distaste for violence could be denounced for lacking revolutionary fervor.

China has pretended to support our position on N. Korea. now they have done a dramatic flip flop. It is 1950 all over again. We could very easily be fighting the Chinese as well as the N. Koreans. Additionally, China is now lecturing the United States on human rights and gun control in the aftermath of the Florida school shooting. Why would the Chinese care if Americans are murdering Americans? The answer should concern all of us.
The Communist Chinese government is one of the most despotic ruling authorities on the planet. Using the Thomas Jefferson barometer of determinging if a government is out of control, we only have to reference one Jeffersonian principle of government:

The United States should learn from China and “genuinely” protect human rights by restricting gun ownership, an editorial in a widely read state-run Chinese newspaper said on Friday.
The communist editorial appeared in the state-run, The Global Times newspaper which published an article critical of the US government for allowing citizens private gun ownership after the Florida school massacre, in which 17 students and staff were killed, The state-run newspaper gleefully reported that the event “reignited a long-running debate about gun control in the United States”.
 The Chinese wasted no time proclaming, “Washington has been pointing an accusing finger at other countries over human rights … However, more Americans have been killed by gunfire in the country than American soldiers being killed in all U.S. wars,” claimed the Chinese government run Global Times. This statement points out the blatant lies told by the propaganda machine of the state-run Chinese media. The University of Hawaii has conducted a long-term study of “death by government (ie genocide), and it is true that the governments of the 20th century have killed more people than were killed in wars, but the United States is not one of these countries. The Chinese are the leading offenders in the category of citizen death by genocide. The Chinese government is the most repressive loathesome government in the history of the planet.
There are no civil liberties in China. The people have one right, namely, to serve the government. China rejects criticism of its rights record, pointing to its success at helping millions escape poverty, and regularly attempts to deflect the issue by calling attention to its critics’ own problems.
The ruling Communist Party tolerates no political dissent and President Xi Jinping’s administration has seen a sweeping crackdown on political rights lawyers and activists. As I have previously reported, the Chinese and Google have implemented a social control mechanism in which people’s browsing habits and online comments are worth points, points that can be taken away for criticizing the government. Loss of Google-based internet points under the system can result in expulsion from college, eviction from one’s home and the withdrawal of any government benefits including food. Pat Wood, in a recent interview on The Common Sense Show, related such an anecdote. Again, the Chinese pretend to lecture us on human rights?
The anti-Second Amendment New York Times quoted the Chinese as saying:
Gun ownership in China is strictly regulated, which helps reduce gun-related crimes and deaths. The U.S. should learn from China and genuinely protect human rights…

Chinese Ghost Cities and the Abuse of the Chinese People by its Government

Most aware Americans understand that we are headed to a stack and pack Agenda 21 style of living. We owe this all to the Chinese ghost cities where the stack and pack cities of the future are being beta tested.  The above photo is an aerial view of a Chinese ghost city that were first built by the Chinese government in conjunction with Hank Paulson and Goldman Sachs and then forcbily populated by Chinese peasants living in the outlying provinces.
The populating of these ghost cities follows a consistent script. The Chinese military, unnancounced, will back up their military trucks into a Chinese village and the Chinesee soldiers go house-t0-house as they inform the population that they have 30 minutes to gather up their possessions and then ghboard to the trucks for transport to a previously constructed ghost city. Any resistance is met with extreme prejudice. Frequently, the villages are burned down in front of the people, thus detroying any hope of ever returning. The farmland is converted to corporate farming which is run by state-sponsored corporations. The added benefit, which nobody ever mentions, is that the Chinese government is gaining control over much of the food supply and that is the most effective leverage for political control. And of course, Chinese human rights are on full display in this process.  This is how the Chinese meet their labor demands for the expanding industrialization needs of China as they tighten the noose of political control around the necks of their population. And the Chinese purport to lecture us on gun control and American human rights?
There is an additional political benefit to these ghost cities. If there were ever to be a Chinese revolution against their totalitarian regime, thes outlying provinces would be the prime movers. The ghost cities simultaneously fulfill two needs (1) conscript industrial labor; and, (2) reduce the political threat from the outlying provinces.

The Real Chinese Agenda

As previously reported on The Common Sense Show, the United Nations inked an agreement with the UN, under Obama, to allow UN troops to patrol the streets of America in times of civil unrest. Cook County (Chicago) made headlines by stating that they were going to bring in the United Nations in order to patrol the streets.
Both Paul Preston and I have documented how both the UN and the Chinese are part of the CALEXIT movement which is an attempt for California to leave the US under the guidance of the UN. This is no coincidence.
When we connect the dots, it becomes clear that the Chinese will comprise the bulk of a future UN occupation force in America. As I, and many others have documented on several occasions, the Chinese already have a large troop presence on American soil (eg Long Beach Port, solar energy farms).

Sheriff Scott Israel, the sheriff of Broward County where the shooting took place, is widely known to be an anti-gun Democrat operative. For example, during a recent Sean Hannity broadcast entitled “Defending Our Schools,” aired Feb. 22, 2018, a caller outed Israel for colluding with Democrat anti-gun schemers, saying:
I graduated from Stoneman-Douglas in 2004, … the sheriff of my county down here Scott Israel is a politician. He’s a Leftist. He is best friends with Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Ted Deutch. He’s not a sheriff. So when people look at our community now because it’s been thrust into the spotlight and they talk about the sheriff’s department, let’s just be real clear… he is not a sheriff, he’s a politician who masquerades behind a badge. Scott Israel, it turns out, was accused of public corruption long before this shooting. As reported by the Florida Sun Sentinel:
Since winning one of the most powerful elected posts in Broward, Sheriff Scott Israel has hired from the ranks of his political supporters, building a community outreach wing his critics say doubles as a re-election team… A log of employees hired by the sheriff shows 10 workers were hired since 2013 into “outreach” roles, their salaries totalling $634,479… Israel’s opponents say he’s built a publicly funded political machine, paying back supporters with jobs and using them to keep him in office. They say the money could be better spent, particularly after the sheriff complained about not having enough funding to secure the county courthouse, where a murder suspect recently escaped.
In other words, Sheriff Scott Israel uses taxpayer money to fund his own political re-election “outreach” scheme, shoring up his public image while failing to invest financial resources on stopping murderers.
And what better way to steal the limelight for a re-election than to order a “stand down” during a school shooting, then claim to be the savior?

I did my student teaching at Columbine High School in Littleton, CO. Do you think I am sensitive to the topic of school shootings? Once upon a time, I was very proficient in martial arts and various forms of self-defense and I have taught classes to individuals and groups. Individuals like myself and Bob Griswold and myself have a degree of situational awareness that most in our society do not have. Anyone with any degree of training in self-defense will tell you, that our present level of self-defense practiced in our schools is criminally negligent.
Do not blame the teachers, the administrators or even the school boards. They are overwhelmed by mindlessfederal and state government liberal bureaucrats that believe that the designation “gun-free-zones” somehow makes our students safer. What a joke! Such a declaration is a message of “open season” on defenseless students and teachers.
The liberal morons who run much of our society don’t even give a second thought to protecting the targets of a would-be-mass-murderer. Their only response is to seize the guns  which is an exercise in futility. There are over 300 million guns in America. No amount of registration and even gun confiscation can even make a dent. Why? Because they FBI tells us that 90% of the gun used in a crime are stolen, that’s why! Ron Paul put out a statement where decries the illogic of such a move.
We have George Soros inspired and funded young people who just magically organized themselves into organized protest rallies promoting gun confiscation, like a teenager would know the first thing about organizing such a movement. This is the definition of an orchestrated event.
There is an objective, from the liberal left, on why they want all the guns and they are willing to exploit school shootings to achieve their objective, but that is another topic for another day. For the purposes of this article, I want to call attention to the fact that we virtually doing nothing to protect the lives of the 50 million people who enter our public schools everyday. We have armed guards and searches of people entering sporting events, concerts and to board a plane, but somehow, we don’t care enough about our children to protect them.

The Anatomy of Student Defense Against In a Live Shooting Event

Across America, it is pretty much the same when it comes to student defense during an active shooter event. There is virutally no defense against a live shooter. The only official strategy is for the teacher to lock one’s classroom, turn out the lights and get on the floor. The strategy seems to presume that the classroom door and the surrounding walls are bullet-proof. They most certainly are not.
When a classroom contains students and their teacher, and the gunman shoots his way into a locked room, the massacre begins and it is like shooting fish in a barrel. These people are virtually defenseless. Wait! There are some high-risk strategies that could be taught to unarmed civilians caught in a confined space with an anticpated gunman entering their space. These stratgies are usually going to fail, however, at least it gives the would-be-victims somewhat of a fighting chance. Many school shootings are carried by assailants with an assault rifle and there is a moment when one enters a classroom with the assault rifle that they are vulnerable to being disarmed. If one were to position themselves adjacent to a door as the shooter enters the room, there is a time when a trained person could get inside the pivot range of the shooter and his weapon as they enter a doorway. The goal is get between the rifle and the shooters body and force the assailant to drop the weapon, where presumably a second, third and fourth person would be able to assist in getting the gun away from the would-be-mass-murderer. If the assailants gun is secure, the perpetrator must be instantly killed. Why? Because they could have a holstered weapon elsewhere on their body. How do I know this? In my martial arts training, conducted by an ex-special forces operative, we trained varous civic and private groups on self-defense methods. This is not a good fall-back strategy, however, it is better than the “lie-down and die” concealment strategy that we have in place, now. in our public schools.
The other strategy that should be employed in an active shooting event, is to run like hell away from the direction of the shots. If intended victims in venues, like the 2015 Paris theater and any public school could be taught this strategy, statistically speaking, lives would be saved because it is harder to shoot a moving target in the open, moving in a zig-zag pattern, than it is to murder a classroom full of students in a confined space with no escape. Our school safety policies are so flawed, we don’t even teach basic survival skills. In effect, schools rely on the statistical rarity that there school will not be victimized. I can accurately say that school defense has been reduced to a strategy of random chance and statistical unlikelihood.

In summary, our schools do not teach basic self-defense and rehearse the strategy. Our schools do not teach escape strategies and rehearse them. The students are taught to lie down and wait for the inevitable.

As previously stated, the present strategy is based upon concealment and is practiced, across the nation, by virtually every public school. In many states, the practice of this strategy is mandated by statute and the use of a n0-response strategy is required by law.
We have signs in many schools that state “This is a gun-free zone”. The sign may as well say “Come kill our students because they have no way to defend themselves”.

The Solution

In reality, there is no solution for school shootings. Approximately 25% of the schools in the country have a school resource officer who is armed and trained. This is an important obstacle to a would-be killer. However, what about the other schools, don’t their students deserve some measure of protection? I had someone tell me that the school monitors are a resource against danger. What an absolute joke. In an active shooter event, a school monitor does not even constitute a speed bump to a live shooter.
The only thing that can give our children a fighting chance is to have multiple armed guards in every school. If the school budget is an issue, then volunteer school personnel and be trained in CCW. The liberals, who would sacrifice your children in the name of gun confiscation, have stopped reading at this point. But in the preesnt moment, we don’t even bring the proverbial butter knife to a gun fight. I will not be silent until I begin reading headlines like the following:

WOULD BE SCHOOL GUNMAN SHOT DEAD BY ARMED CUSTODIAN BEFORE HE COULD MURDER DOZENS OF PEOPLE

If liberals want to sacrifice their children in the name of their political agenda, that is their right. However, I will not rest until we move to protect our most vulnerable population with decisive action. This needs to become a mid-term election issue. And of course America, an institution that practices depraved indifference towards its client base will soon go out of business. Schools should be no different. If our leaders will not move to protect our children, then the rest of us should home school our children. Have you ever heard of a homeschool shooting?

One final thought, why don’t other countries have school shootings? Why is this just an American phenomenon? Banks get robbed, drug deals go bad and people get held up in other countries, but why aren’t their students murdered as they are attending school? Can someone please answer that question?

Back-To-Back Scandals Roil CNN As Other Liberal Writers Call Them 'Vile, Despicable, Gross' For Targeting Female Trump Supporter For Harassment

CNN is scrambling this week as they are suffering through two self-inflicted scandals that have them in all-out damage control mode. The damaged network is busy issuing denials over being busted for "scripting" their town hall event,  and they are now calling one of the Parkland Florida school shooting survivors a liar, right on the heels of having targeted a  female Trump supporter and doxing her (publicizing her personal information), which has resulted in her being attacked relentlessly by liberals online and offline.

CNN ACCUSED BY FLORIDA SHOOTING SURVIVOR OF 'SCRIPTING" TOWN HALL EVENT

Colton Haab, the Junior ROTC student that courageously shielded students from an active shooter last Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where 17 people were murdered, is accusing CNN of refusing to allow him to offer his commentary and ask his own questions at the town hall they held on Wednesday, stating that instead it "ended up being all scripted."

"CNN had originally asked me to write a speech and questions and it ended up being all scripted," Haab told WPLG-TV. "I don't think that it's going get anything accomplished. It's not gonna ask the true questions that all the parents and teachers and students have."
After being informed he would not be able to ask his own questions, nor offer his commentary that CNN originally asked him to write up, Haab chose to pull out from the event.



CNN rushed into damage control mode by issuing two sets of statements. The first said  "CNN did not, and does not, script any questions for town hall meetings, ever."

That is not exactly true, as CNN has a long history of organizing Democratic plants within their town hall events, as documented by the New York Post.  Remember it was also CNN commentator Donna Brazile that was busted using her position with CNN to give Hillary Clinton prior notice of questions she would be asked during a televised debate.

CNN then offered an expanded statement after Haab's accusations, via Senior Public Relations Manager at CNN, Richard Hudock:

There is absolutely no truth to this. CNN did not provide or script questions for anyone in last night's town hall, nor have we ever. After seeing an interview with Colton Haab, we invited him to participate in our town hall along with other students and administrators from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Colton’s father withdrew his name from participation before the forum began, which we regretted but respected. We welcome Colton to join us on CNN today to discuss his views on school safety.

Apparently not understanding the concept of cutting your losses, in a statement to The Daily Caller, CNN’s Vice President of Communications and Digital Partnerships Matt Dornic, not only offered the DC the same two responses, but decided to expand even more, which is where their claims break down.

Dornic added the network gave Haab the opportunity to expand on the idea of arming teachers, a topic which was brought up multiple times during the town hall, as opposed to delivering a prepared speech. Haab reportedly declined to reframe his remarks, and his father subsequently prevented him from taking part in the program.

So, they admit they were not going to allow him his "prepared speech," which wasn't quite in line with CNN's gun control agenda, yet as the DC highlights, with video, other participants that were pushing for gun control, were allowed extended time for lengthy statements that went beyond asking questions.

In particular, Lori Alhadeff, whose daughter Alyssa was one of the 17 victims who lost their lives in last week’s tragedy, gave a speech while Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel And NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch sat on stage.

The grieving mother ended her powerful, four-minute-long remarks by asking Loesch, “what is your plan to put things into action? What is your action?” yet Loesch was not given an opportunity to respond by moderator Jake Tapper.

CNN's agenda is clear and has been for a very long time and their actions in regards to this town hall is simply another example as to why their network has dropped 30 percentage points in ratings over the last year.

LIBERAL JOURNALISTS SHRED CNN FOR DOXING FEMALE TRUMP SUPPORTER

Perhaps the biggest scandal CNN is embroiled in right now, isn't over their nasty habit of publishing fake news, but was their attempt to distract from the fact that they had been caught helping to promote a Russian-organized anti-Trump event.

On Monday, February 19, 2018, it was revealed that CNN and MSNBC heavily promoted an anti-Trump rally that was organized by Russia in November 2016, allegedly using "unwitting" Americans as part of their campaign to "sow discord" as described in the Mueller indictments.

The media called it a “Love Rally” Back on November 12 of 2016, as they heaped piles of praise and promotion on to an anti- Trump Rally event in New York City. And according to special investigator Robert Mueller’s indictment the “Trump is NOT my President” rally was put together by Russians.

As the screen shot above shows, CNN, also on Monday, went out on a hunt for citizens that participated in rallies that were organized and promoted by Russian trolls. Rather than approach a public figure, such as filmmaker Michael Moore, who was a high profile participant, or even to interview members of their own network since they attended and promoted the event becoming "unwitting" tools for Russia, CNN decided it would be better to stalk innocent, every day American citizens, publishing their names and social media accounts and harassing them at their homes.

A private citizen received online abuse after CNN tracked her down and publicly shamed her for unknowingly sharing a “Russian-coordinated event” on her Facebook page.

While filming the woman, who runs a pro-Trump page on Facebook, CNN publicly shamed her for “unwittingly” promoting a “Russian-coordinated event.”

“When you’re talking like this, I don’t want anything to do with you,” complained the woman after being repeatedly harassed by CNN’s Special Investigations Unit Reporter Drew Griffin.

Following the incident, conservative commentators criticized CNN for tracking down and attempting to publicly shame private citizens.

“Stop harassing people at their homes, you psychos!” replied conservative YouTube star Mark Dice.

What followed that report was CNN readers rushing over to harass the woman on her social media page, calling her "dumb sap," "traitor," "Hillbilly racist," "treasonous," "stupid," a "TWAT," "Ugly," "vile," "stupid, stupid, bitter old hag," and those are just the tip of the iceberg showing the type of abuse the woman has been receiving since CNN doxed her, for doing nothing more than seeing a planned pro-Trump rally and sharing it on her small Facebook page. One of Dunleavy's statements on the series of tweets showing screen shots of what CNN had wrought, says "Just wonderful @CNN. Give yourselves a hand. Again — Russia wanted Americans turned against Americans? They wanted to sow chaos? They wanted to create division? Look at what a news report doxxing an old lady’s Facebook page results in. Vicious. Vile. Senseless. Uncharitable."



If the conservative commentator reaction was harsh, the most brutal of critiques over what CNN did, actually came from liberal journalists, such as Glenn Greenwald, who took to his social media account to rip into CNN in a long series of tweets, calling them despicable, vile, gross,  along with other commentary expressing his complete disgust with the network.

Greenwald Tweets:

Despicable: CNN hunts down an ordinary citizen at home, accusing her of aiding Russia because she promoted an event on FB that Mueller says Russians organized.

Go ask Michael Moore why he did that. Ask Joy Reid why Russian bots RT her so much. Challenge power. This is bullying. [LINK]

CNN blasted her name all over their networks' airways & the internet, to millions of people, and now - predictably - she's being widely harassed online. What for? What's the journalistic value in exposing her identity? Do you want Fox to go to the homes of #Resistance activists?[LINK]

One last thing that is vile about what CNN did. This reporter would *never* show up uninvited at the home of, say, Obama military or intel officials & ambush them with cameras. They'd respectfully invite them into studios & allow them to decline. So easy to confront the powerless[LINK]

In CNN had ambushed a random #Resistance activist who unwittingly promoted on her FB page a Russian-organized anti-Trump event (as Michael Moore did), blasting her name everywhere, subjecting her to harassment, I wonder if opinions about CNN's behavior would be different? Hmmm. [LINK]

Beyond the ugly power imbalance of CNN using its huge platform to expose this woman, the premise is also gross: unknowingly promoting a Russian page or event is nefarious. Fox just trolled Michael Moore for doing *exactly* that, but at least he's prominent.[LINK]

The Intercept’s Jeremy Scahill responded to Greenwald, stating "Also, that woman is now receiving a deluge of vicious, nasty attacks and threats on her Facebook page. CNN could have talked to her without broadcasting her image and name everywhere. It was stunt journalism that resulted in her being harassed mercilessly."

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange also responded to Greenwald's shredding of CNN, saying "It's two to four men men from a billion dollar corporation with decades of experience filming a surprise attack on an old woman at her home demanding to know whether she was in league with a foreign power so as to harness her shock for their power faction in the domestic war."

Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia tells the network "CNN should be ashamed.  This is not journalism this is abuse," while Huffington Post’s Yashar Ali also takes them to task saying "This is nuts. A woman living in her suburban home doesn’t deserve this badgering. She didn’t mastermind the conspiracy and she’s not a public official or a person known to the public."

THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME CNN HAS TARGETED AN INNOCENT INTERNET USER

Back in early July 2017, CNN was engulfed in yet another scandal, after having to retract a story in late June, which resulted in three high profile CNN employees being forced to resign. On July 2, 2017, President Trump tweeted a meme of an older wrestling clip that Trump participated in, replacing the head of the man Trump was wrestling, with the CNN logo. CNN went nuts, said Trump was threatening them, and then using that to distract from the major scandal they had been engulfed in, decided it would be a good idea to hunt down a random Internet user who created the original meme, and to threaten to reveal his identity to the world if he continued his "ugly behavior."

The result of CNN's attempt to distract that time backfired on the network "BIGLY" as immediately the #CNNBlackmail hashtag began to trend, where liberals and conservatives alike took them to task for their threat to dox some random guy for his amusing meme, simply because President Trump shared it. Then Reddit and 4chan users declared war against CNN, which became the "great meme war on 2017," with hundreds, if not thousands, of Internet memes were created against CNN and shared to the point where the movement went viral online.




BOTTOM LINE

Right now CNN is embroiled in two scandals, but one of them is blowing up bigger than the other, as their attempts to distract from their own network heavily promoting an alleged Russian-organized event back in 2016, they decided to target an elderly female private citizen for doing far less than they did to help "sow discord" in the U.S by promoting and reporting on the event, and in doing so caused a massive negative reaction from both sides of the aisle to their own actions after the woman they targeted started receiving ugly and vile abuse from CNN readers and/or viewers because of CNN doxing her.

This has become an almost predictable pattern for CNN, when they get caught out for questionable actions, reports and behaviors, their knee-jerk reaction is to attempt to create a narrative to take attention off of them, but it backfires and takes a minor scandal for them and turns it into something far larger and far more damaging to the network as a whole.
