11-year-old to CNN: Trump’s ‘bad words’ a lot better than getting head chopped off
Boy tells CNN election rhetoric doesn’t compare to actions of ISIS
Infowars.com - August 6, 2016
CNN received an unexpected response when a reporter asked an
11-year-old Donald Trump supporter if he was upset by the mean words of
the 2016 election.
North
Carolina resident Matthew Schricker and his mother appeared on CNN
after he made headlines for asking Vice presidential contender Mike
Pence a question during a recent Donald Trump campaign event.
Shricker told CNN the election’s rhetoric doesn’t compare to the actions of ISIS.
“Matthew,
a lot has been made in this campaign of the language that is used, the
name calling that’s been used, especially in the primary,” reporter
Poppy Harlow says. “As an 11-year-old watching it, what’s your
reaction?”
“I really think that listening to a few bad words
coming out of Donald Trump is a lot better than people getting blown up
by terrorists, people getting burned alive, people’s heads being chopped
off and people getting drowned,” Schricker responded.
Schricker’s mother, Mary, backed her son up saying Trump’s language is warranted by current world events.
“Honestly when it comes to confronting a terrorist I would rather have trump confronting him than his opponent,” she said.
Watch Schricker’s exchange with Gov. Pence below, in which he asked if Pence’s role is to “soften” Trump’s message:
