Late night mews, Summer-lovely Pussycats... after a night of storms, a mild summer's day on the tame prarie... around eight in the evening, at dusk, the Kougaress saw the 'about' three-quarters moon fairly high in the souther sky, and shining brightly... there's something odd about the cycles of the moon in these times... however, this Big Cat is no expert, just a consistent sky watcher... that said, someone else mentioned the moon had altered position recently... and she's been diligently watching the moon closely. So...???
Keep a close watch out, darling kittens, lots coming at us these days. And remember, this Big Cat loves ya!

On today’s blog I’m going to talk about my other blog. That’s Shapeshifter Seductions, where four other romance writers along with yours truly post almost-daily shapeshifter flash fiction. I’ve had it easy for the last couple of months because I’ve been writing a serial story, a single tale told in weekly installments. Well, mostly weekly. I skipped a few here and there—I had to do something special for St. Patrick’s Day, for example—and occasionally I’d post an extra chapter on Thursday, or one of my fellow writers would add to the storyline on their blog day. The story’s taken a few odd twists and turns here and there, mostly because I didn’t bother to plot it out before I started (the curse of the pantser strikes again!), plus my fellow writers would latch onto throwaway lines and build a blog around it, providing ideas for my next installment. Somehow we fashioned a coherent story line out of this. But then, we’re professionals. Don’t try this at home.

One reason there are no flying cars... okay, kiddo kittens, the Kougaress was listening to Nite Hawke, the owner Revolution Radio ~freedomslips.com~ He currently works in a hospital as some sort of computer tech. Anyhoo, he's right in the middle of the whole briefing the hospital staff for Ebola... however, the important issue Hawke addressed was the fact that if *the dark-side powers that be* pull off this pandemic, they will lock down the affected cities... that means you don't get out, or in... so, if you want out, you better darn well prepare now to leave before they lock your city down... but that's not even the worst of it... every bridge in Indiana, according to Hawke and his personal investigation, is wired to blow... that means, like the levees in New Orleans, the 'officials' can take out, or blow up every bridge they designate... so, even if you did get out, you might not make it past a bridge... likely bridges are wired to explode all over the country, as well. NO WONDER, flying cars have not been allowed... yeah, you could fly out, hopefully save yourself, and your loved ones... unless, of course, they sent out the drones to shoot you down, or the shoulder-fired missiles, or whatever... maybe tank guns... anyway, the obvious point being, it would still be far more difficult to control the population if we all had flying cars. Oh yeah, some of us would become Red Baron types...
