A very serious subject, darling kittens... that is what is being appropriately called BETRAYAL TRAUMA. Joyce Riley of The Power Hour ~thepowerhour.com~ brilliantly stated that many of the veterans who are committing suicide, are doing so because the gov agencies that are supposed to be caring for them have used every vile means, every cruel bureaucratic method -- including a series of fires that burn up their service records -- to gyp them out of treatment and financial assistance -- what was promised to them for being in the military.. Many of these veterans are men and women who have one or more limbs missing, and are horribly sick because of what was done to them while serving this country. However, more than their brutal illnesses, it is the betrayal by the American government they fought for, this  BETRAYAL TRAUMA that causes them to take their own lives.

The Kougaress well understands this, given the horrific betrayals by the system which she has experienced over her lifetime, and the endless betrayals done to others that she's witnessed.

Bottom line: most of us are suffering with varying degrees of what has now been named BETRAYAL TRAUMA, especially in these corrupt-to-the-core times.

In the Beginning... White Fang Khent

Blue Moon howls and yowls, shapeshifter lovers.

Harken ye back to the beginning of our fair shapeshifter town, Talbot's Peak. Originally taken over by a werewolf pack, the Peak has come a long way, baby cub. Heck, we now have a squirrel shifter as the Mayor.
