Closing in on midnight mews and purrs, my shapely and elegantly striding Big Cats... another hot day on the tame prairie, but with lovely dry air... once again the setting sun radiantly turned to a disc of tangerine light, and the growing crescent moon glowed tangerine gold, looking completely gorgeous in the inky night sky... the Kougaress glimpsed a deer in the early evening when she checked her mailbox... what a beautiful planet we live on... a paradise found.

Back to School With a Friday Five...

Ziva chewed on the cap of her pen, worried that she’d made a wrong decision for this week’s Friday Five on the G&B website. With school starting next week this would be a great five for the kids, both shifter and human, to connect before the official first bell of the year. Unfortunately, it seemed the adults in town decided to play along as well. Many of their responses were downright inappropriate for children’s eyes…even shifter young who tended to mature faster than their human counterparts.

Scrolling through the replies already piling on the post she wracked her brain trying to figure out how to deal with the issue, without removing anyone’s posts. When it came right down to it, most of the adults replies were to damn funny to lose. Take for example, her mates.

AP - Slow-moving Typhoon Talas has made landfall in southern Japan, dumping heavy rain across a wide swath of the country. Public broadcaster NHK says one person has died and three others are missing.
