Late night mews with views, glorious and gallant Big Cats... still
downright chilly on the tame prairie... although, it might not have
dipped below freezing since the Kougaress didn't see any evidence on the
trees... it did turn beautifully sunny in the afternoon, and a golden
eagle family decided to perch atop the barn, and hang out for a time,
sunning themselves, stretching their wings... it was fascinating to
watch the five of them move along the steep slant of the roof and
interact with each other... later in the afternoon, as this Big Cat was
looking out her sliding glass door, she saw the shadow of an eagle, then
watched four of them fly low to the ground, lift higher, and wing over
the treetops, then over the pasture... most likely to hunt for their
dinner.
The Kougaress did an internet search for Golden Eagle Shaman, and
discovered some gorgeous images, and that golden eagle is considered to
be an ambassador spirit, a messenger between Earth and the Spirit... a
bearer of souls.

of trying to get too much done ~yeeowws~ ... and trying to live in an

storm moved through with just some thunder and a spat of rain... sadly,
however, no real rain... anyhoo, now it looks like there could be snow
on the way... yeah, more strangeling weather ahead... wow, is this Big
Cat worn out... it's been a really long day.
So, with the unending horrors,
and the endless cruelty of these times... plus, what has happened in
the recent past that has been covered up... for example Waco, where the
people, the children, were brutally murdered on purpose, for no crime
whatsoever... well, the Kougaress had some moments where it became 'all'

weeks in Rick’s company, she was finally getting the hang of maneuvering

growing up... and *no* it WAS NOT PERFECT by a very long shot...
however, to the issue of the slippery slope, it seems as though there
was a WHOLE lot more common sense. That is, a whole lot more CAUTION
when approaching a slippery slope. For example, on the right to bear
arms, which cannot be disputed because it is a natural human right to
protect yourself no matter what, and that means having the weapons of
your choice. This idea that by restricting gun ownership and registering
gun owners and doing background checks means that guns can be kept from
criminals is absolute lunacy. It's *never ever* happened in the entire
arc of history.
Gun registration and restriction of any kind is
merely a *slippery slope* that leads to the enslavement of the
population. And, really, common sense -- and history/herstory --
dictates that the more tightly a population is controlled, the more a
pressure cooker situation develops -- the more people will be maimed
and killed by the use of weapons, whether wielded by so-called law
enforcement or by criminals -- which are often one and the same. As is
occurring in Boston, at this time.
And, really, it's the same as
Prohibition. The solution lies in wisdom and learning how to defend
yourself and others. For that, will keep evil from your door far quicker
than a monstrous police state that keeps everyone dependent on them.
