This time Obi-Wan Kenobi is the victor. That is, if it is the Will of the people.

On the magickal, mystical front, the true wisdom of the 'time-lost' antediluvian Magicians now emerges into our societal consciousness, and becomes an endless wave of energy and information during the year, 2013. Time to tune into this way of magick, that has been kept hidden from most of us.

On the personal front, this will be a tricky, sidewinder type of week for most of us, especially around finances. With the down-turning economy, the deceptive snakes are coming out of the woodwork, and looking to make you their prey.

On a bright note, this week will also be about the joys of family, biological and including your soul family. There could be reconciliations with family members--even ones in the miraculous category. The vibes are right.

As well, look for financial opportunities that will tide you over, but are on the up and up, and not about making you the victim of a con man/woman.

On the paranormal front, UFO sightings continue to make headlines throughout the world, even if ignored by the cleavage-babes' media. Sightings will go in fits and starts from this point forward. However, many more of these events will be up close and personal.

Like the humanoid-type fetus found in a sheep's womb recently, this sort of creature-strangeness will continue, and only escalate as the year progresses. Also, there will be, in next three months, more sightings and stories about mermaids.

As well, some wild animals will keep reaching out to people, as has already been reported. One example in the news, was the dolphin who asked a diver for help.

On the economic front, watch out! Behind the scenes major manipulations of the world currencies are happening at lightspeed. Cyber attacks on the banking system are ongoing, and ruthless.

This means quick fluctuations in the stock market, and global prices. Plus, there could be bank holidays disguised as cyber hacking.

That stated, most of the currency and gold-wars chaos happening on the world stage, is being manufactured by the 'dark-side powers that be'. This is an evil strategy.

It's about forcing people worldwide to abdicate their 'rights'. To wave the flag of surrender, and join the hive, one world mind.

Brave 'white hat' forces continue to battle the bankster gangster crowd. This is slowing down the sinister plans of the dark-side elite, thus, delaying WWIII.

I live in far northwest Las Vegas, slightly higher in elevation than the city. I took this photo as I drove south to work early on January 28, 2013 (5:52am). As you can see, the lights of the Las Vegas valley lit up the cloudy sky into what appeared to be a dove with wings spread, or maybe even an angel. People don't think of Vegas as a particularly blessed place, so I thought others might like to see that maybe it actually is!

In the first half of the program, George Noory welcomed author and astrologer Donna Stellhorn ~2013chineseastrology.com~ who offered Chinese horoscope predictions for 2013 – the Year of the Snake. In addition to the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac, each year is also represented by one of four elements. This year the element is water, which when combined with the snake's fiery energy yields conflict, Stellhorn explained. In the past snake years have had a lot of disasters, she revealed, citing the World Trade Center attack in 2001, the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, the U.S. entering World War II in 1941, and the stock market crash of 1929. According to Stellhorn, the principle of Chinese Astrology is to identify what one can expect in a given year and then alter the environment using the principles of Feng Shui to increase luck. Simply by moving objects around, the subconscious reacts and we can see things differently and avoid danger, she said.

Stellhorn foresees a challenging time ahead for boars, cautioning against speculation this year and urging boars to protect their homes with an 8-sided mirror placed by the front door. Rats can attract opportunities by getting a new 'welcome' mat and oxen should hang an ocean picture to bring in better relationships and business contacts, she advised. Tigers can find dependable relationships by putting something that represents love in the bedroom and rabbits can bring in opportunity be hanging wind chimes outside, Stellhorn continued. The dragon's year is ending, so Stellhorn prescribed creating a restful and healing environment with plants. This is the year for snakes to try new things and they should hang an eclipse symbol for luck, she suggested. Stellhorn explained that horses will need to get rid of clutter and use fountains to create flow, and rams will want to attract healthy love relationships by adding the color red to the bedroom. She recommended monkeys stay grounded in this cautious snake year by wearing a gemstone called Citrine, dogs protect themselves with foo dog statues outside the home, while roosters should get out and travel in what will be a very lucky year for them.

Virus in GM Foods Could be Dangerous

GM crops such as corn, which are being grown around the world for both human and farm animal consumption, include a virus gene that could be poisonous to humans that has not been tested for safety.

A new study by the European Food Safety Authority(EFSA) reveals that the international approval process for GM crops has failed to identify this gene. As a result, we don't know its impact on human health.

Biologists Nancy Podevin and Patrick du Jardin discovered that 54 of the 86 GM plants approved for commercial growing and food in the US contain the viral gene, which is known as "Gene VI'." These crops are fed to farm animals that produce the meat, milk and eggs that humans eat. Can the virus be transferred to us this way? (The solution may be to eat like the upper-class Chinese).

In the January 21st edition of the Daily Mail, Sean Poulter quotes researcher Pete Riley as saying that the discovery of this gene, "totally undermines claims that GM technology is safe, precise and predictable. This is a clear warning the GM is not sufficiently understood to be considered safe. Authorization for these crops must be suspended immediately, and they should be withdrawn from sale, until a full and extended review of their safety has been carried out."

Poulter quotes a review of the EFSA research from Independent Science News as saying, 'This situation represents a complete and catastrophic system failure. There are clear indications that this viral gene might not be safe for human consumption. A reasonable concern is that the protein produced by Gene VI might be a human toxin. This is a question that can only be answered by future experiments."
