Earlier this year, she tried out an idea she found on the web... placing a length of copper in the ground then adhering a copper wire to it and running it inside and then attaching it to the radio antenna thingie... okay, no problem there... however, this evening when she went to plug the radio into an outlet strip, she had this crazy notion to place the copper wire between the plug prongs then plug into the outlet... like that might improve reception... NO!!! sparks! The smell of burning... blackout! The whole room went dark. Thank goodness the computer was plugged into UPS battery thingie and was just fine... so, not being that electrically inclined, this Big Cat had no clue what to do... except that the rest of house was okay, undamaged... so, she took a look at both circuit breaker boxes and *voila* she saw one slightly out of alignment... okay, problem solved... THANK THE DIVINE! ~~~~~~
